Crockpot: Crockpot Cookbook With 22 Easy Crockpot Meals for Busy Days (crock pot, easy crock pot meals, best crock pot recipes,) Reviews

The first recipe for breakfast sounded so delicious, that I was hoping this was going to be a great cookbook. I was disappointed. The recipe ingredients were mixed up with United States measurements and using grams. Some of the ingredients I have never heard of (vegeta?). A recipe asked for 1 package of mushroom soup, condensed. Do they mean canned soup, or dry packets? Another recipe asked for a bag of frozen broccoli. What size bag? Another recipe ingredient said 1/2 cauliflower. Do they mean a 1/2 cup of cauliflower or a 1/2 a head of cauliflower. The entire book was like this. One recipe ingredient said 1 cup of cream cheese. Cream cheese is always measured in ounces, so do they mean 8 ounces? Something else that really bugs me when I read some of these cookbooks on the internet. No serving sizes for the recipes. Several recipes used tortillas or buns, but because the recipes don't give the number of servings, the ingredient lists did not give the number of tortilla or buns to purchase. How would a cook know how much to purchase and how many the recipe will feed? This book was obviously written by someone in another country other than the United States, and then translated for American cooks. Poorly translated and edited at that. I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
