Mysteries of Mankind: Earth's Unexplained Landmarks Reviews

  • George Ilsley

Overview of many of the unexplained mysterious sites on our planet. Some of these, such as the Giza pyramids and Stonehenge, are quite well known. Others, such as Nan Madol in Micronesia, might be a revelation.

There is a dazzling array of unexplained ruins on this planet, and this book offers some insights and explanations, but no real answers. The mysteries, as is their wont, mostly remain mysterious.

Note: the volume I have credits the National Geographic book division but makes no mention of a “Donald J Crump” who is listed as the author here.

  • Ronald Wilcox

Fascinating analysis of the possible meanings of various landmarks created by mankind whose origins are shrouded in mystery, such as the terrain lines in Peru or the pyramids of Egypt.

A nice read if you're into mysteries of the past and recent.
