If there is one rule you don’t break, it’s don’t mess with Time.

All of a sudden Olivia and Theo find themselves thrown back in time to 17th century Salem. Isabel and Nathaniel are hell bent on finding Olivia’s ancestor, Hester West, who was the last of the West women known to have had possession of Infernum. This is the most powerful book ever to have existed and Hester is the one person who knows its current location. The problem is if Isabel and Nathaniel find Hester they will change the events of the past. Theo will never have been pulled through time to present day Mercy and will never meet Olivia. Even worse, if Hester is harmed in any way Olivia will never be born in the first place.

The stakes have never been higher. Trapped in the past at the height of the Witch Trials, Theo must not only try and keep Olivia safe from the religious fanatics who have never seen a real witch in their lives, but he must face his brother Logan and the past he left behind. And this time, if he fails, Olivia will be the one hanging from the tree on Gallows Hill

Witchfinder Reviews

  • Mummy's Naughty Corner

Okay so now we have a lot happening. This series is so addictive. I like the way we go back in time and have to avoid people yet secrets are still being revealed. It's hard to remember how bad things were back in time but this author really helped to bring it to life. I really don't know what side her mum is on. I have a funny feeling we haven't seen her full power yet. Jeez and all this just for a book. Who will get it first?

  • Sheilagh Allcorn

Absolutely brilliant 4th novel. Does not disappoint, the story is fast paced, dark, mind blowing and follows seamlessly on from the previous 3 books in the series. I didn't want it to end and am now on tenterhooks waiting for the 5th instalment. Anyone who is yet to discover The Guardians series by this brilliant new author is in for a treat!

Oh my Ms. Saunders is quite the storyteller!!

This book, actually the whole series so far, is so addicting, I can not put it down. The characters are so very real, even the Gods, the demons, the Otherworlds. Honest, I have looked them up. I want to live in Olivia’s shoes. So magical, so intense, so scary it hits all the buttons. A must read.

  • Viola Isaacs

Loved this book. You've done it again.

Can't put this series of books down. It has everything I love. Magic, romance, mystery. You will so fall in love with the characters. It definitely tops my list.

    Witchfinder

There is very little I can say about this book without going into hyperbole. It is a book that makes you want to attend a wedding and to visit the underworld. Ms. Saunders gets better with each book in the series.

    Fantastic series

Fantastic series loved all four books. Can't wait for the next book. Used every emotional feeling in this book just brilliant

  • Jaime Andrews

Unbelievable!!! I am so amazed at how this author ties things together and continues to surprise. Can't get enough of this story and it's ups and downs. Love it.

    Better and better

Every book keeps you hook to the very end and it never disappoints. Great read. Highly recommend to all fictional readers.

    3.5 stars

I liked the story, and other than the extraordinarily frustrating use of apostrophes instead of quotation marks, it was well written. (Still bothers me a lot!)
However, I miss the characters and friends from previous books. Spoiler: yes, they were present In the end, but it wasn’t enough. I skimmed through sections of it, bc although the Salem adventures built on the characters of Theo (and his family), I still wanted more glimpses of Louisa, Roni, Jake, etc. (Hades is the exception here. Love that character!!)
Moving right on to the next book- I can’t wait to see what happens next!!

    Witchfinder

Olivia, Theo and Sam find themselves thrown into Salem. The problem is they've arrived ten years to soon.
This fourth book in The Guardians series is the best so far.
The characters are getting more defined and the story is non stop.
I couldn't put it down and read it in under 24 hours.
    Highly recommended.

This was a little over whelming with the time jumping back and forth LOL. But I am looking forward to how the end of this series completes. I did call it, on a lot of things, they were a little bit predictable but it doesn't make the book any less exciting.

  • Tracey Billing

These books continue to pull me in and I am loving them.

We are in 1685 & 1695. Olivia, Theo and Sam are sent back in time chasing after Nathaniel and Isabel, but instead of ending up in 1695 they go back too far, but it is worth it as secrets are revealed....

  • LORRIE

An excellent mystery with lots of adventure

  • Danielle Vandehaar

I can’t put this series down! Time travel is insane and the timeline is NOT to be messed with. What is going to happen next?!
