    This was okay for me and the kids I read too. The facts are not well organized and a little over the heads of early to late elementary kids. The artwork wasn't bad, but most was artistic renditions and not actual photographs. There were some interesting ideas in the book about Planet X and Dwarf Planets that created some discussion. It would have been helpful to have an opening that explained basic astronomy terminology, and how heavenly bodies are names/classified.

    If your children are looking for books to learn about our solar system... this is a GREAT starter book!! Loved the illustrations! Easy to understand. Children will find their imaginations ignited and wanting to learn more! A fantastic, quick read that I can recommend easily to those who are firm believers in STEM for all!

    What Else?

    Loved love pictures in this book. Not the first book I have read by this author. Left my 5th grader saying, "very cool, and....what else" Disappointed in the lack of words and information that a student from grade specified on the title should be able to handle. Not all students have a lack of vocabulary or brain power to handle more information.
