A great book ! Its amazing how God is using him to reach, teach and influence people against all odds. It puts encouragement to all and offers believers and evangelists a challenge also a homework to reach out.

What God does through this man is amazing. If you haven’t seen him talk check him out on youtube. He has a powerful testimony. I’m excited for Nick and his wife Kanae who added twin girls to their family December 20, 2017. This makes four babies for this couple. Their other two children are boys.
I like this authors transparency in his faith journey. He starts out by sharing how the Lord led him to becoming an encouraging public speaker. It’s nothing he set out to do but when opportunity after opportunity came knocking, he opened the door.
Nick was raised in a Christian family and in his teens, he had doubts about the Christian faith. He talks about this and how a few books rocked his world and changed his perspective. After that the bible became real and he allowed the Lord to encourage and guide him in life. When he speaks, he delivers a message of hope: He’d say, “You can’t change your past, but you can change your future.”
He goes on to say, “ I knew many people did not want to hear a faith-based message, but as they heard me talk about life, love, hope, and faith in general terms, they felt free to ask questions about faith. Even then, I still didn’t see myself as a role model for other Christians or aspiring Christians.”
It was interesting to hear about his first DVD titled Life Without Limbs and fun to read about speaking opportunities that came his way in other countries God moved on the hearts of friends, family and even his brother to serve as his caregiver so he could go and encourage more people at these events. He did discuss the cost and what it takes for him to travel about. Eye opening; this was a huge deal. Wow!
Nick shares how he shares his faith, how he finds an audience and what he speaks about. There is a whole chapter titled Answers and Questions. Where he answers some tough questions like:
If there is a good God, why does He allow pain in the world?
Why is it that some atheists and nonbelievers seem to be better and more successful people than some Christians? Why would God allow that?
Why would I want to be a Christian? They don’t have nearly as much fun!
If you want to believe, that’s fine – to each his own – but can you prove to me that God is real? There are several more.
Nick discusses the Path to become a Christian and how to talk with someone about this topic.
Everything is not pie in the sky. I liked how Nick shared about his family and how he keeps it real at home; talks about how to bring up the faith message with your family; family life and what he’s learned from his wife and children. He says, “..I have learned that the work of being married and having children is all about remembering to be grateful for each other and doing everything you can to keep the romance alive. The challenge is that you can get caught up in the day-to-day demands of parenthood and adulthood…..He says, “You can’t just coast along and take your relationship for granted….we have to keep the lines of communication open, and we have to keep our faith at the forefront of our lives.”
This is an encouraging, motivational, informative read I couldn’t put down. I highly recommend it.

"Be the Hands and Feet" is filled with Nick Vujicic's personal stories and those he met about being the hands and feet of Jesus. Through his experiences, Nick shares what it's like for him - a man born without limbs - to be the limbs of Jesus in this world. His overall story alone is inspiring, but the different experiences he's had are even more so. Through them, he shows us his ups and downs, times of miraculous triumphs and times of struggles (even facing death). He is honest and straight to the point. He encourages us to also be the hands and feet of Jesus, showing us that if he can do it, anyone can do it.
In some parts of the book, we hear directly from people he's met who shares their own experiences. Through those stories, we see how God moves in the lives of different people and how they move for God. I liked hearing from them because it's easy to look at Nick, his positive and loving attitude, and say, "Of course, he's motivational and inspiring and doing all sorts of things for the Gospel." We may think he's got a built-in platform, and the right kinds of ingredients for success. But the truth is, there are people from different backgrounds with different stories that are inspiring others and making a positive difference because they chose to put faith in God and say yes to sharing His love to others. It almost doesn't matter where we come from or what we go through, except to allow God to use those things - use us - to spread His love and Good News.
If you've heard Nick speak, you'll hear his voice in this book. It's an inspiring read.

I have read all of Nick's books he has written, and found the books and him to be very inspiring and encouraging. This book is different from his others in that it encourages others to do what he does - reach people for God.
He spends a lot of time talking about how he got where he is now, and how God worked it out for him to travel all over the world and speak. He relates some of the things that has happened, and about some of the people he met.
A lot of the book also covers people who are out there accomplishing great things for God, and how they got to where they are. Some of these people are ones he has mentored and given advice to on how to proceed with their ministry efforts.
The book is a very inspiring read, but also a convicting one. If we are honest, most of us don't really accomplish much for God.....yet there are many stories in this book of people that got a vision, started small, and ended up going big for God.
Nick also gives advice and input to the readers who feel they should be doing more for God. This was an interesting read, and one I would recommend.

`Be The Hands And Feet ~ Living Out God's Love for All His Children` is an inspirational book by author Nick Vujicic. In his book, author Nick Vujicic talks about how his disabilities help him be a witness for Jesus and how the reader can apply that to their own life.
I have read and reviewed a few of Nick's books and find each one to be inspiring. This time I am reading an ARC (advanced reader's copy) of the book. The book will be available to the general public on February 13, 2018.
When Nick was a young child he didn't see himself as being the hands and feet of Christ. His dad was a lay minister, but he did not see how he could be used to spread the gospel. Within a few pages, the reader is introduced to Youth Pastor Jim Haak who explains Nick's road to becoming an evangelist and why he joined a motorcycle gang.
I believe the author wrote this book to share his faith, and perhaps plant a seed in the heart of an unbeliever. Nick asks questions that unbelievers might ask and then answers them in his own words. I found it interesting to learn that the Bible says little children will go to heaven because they are not old enough to know they need to be forgiven of sin. I have always believed this but didn't realize the Bible taught this. The author states Deuteronomy 1:39 as the source for this. (And the little ones that you said would be taken captive, your children who do not yet know good from bad - they will enter the land. I will give it to them and they will take possession of it. Deut. 1:39 ~ NIV)
In his book, Nick has written the plan of salvation and what the reader must do to be saved. (1) Understand and accept you are a sinner, (2) Acknowledge that Christ died on the cross for you, (3) Repent of your sin, and (4) Accept Jesus into your heart and life.

Before reading this book, I only vaguely knew about Nick Vujicic. I'd heard people mention about what a great speaker he was and, naturally, the fact that he had no arms or legs was always brought to my attention. But that was only quickly glossed over before they began to explain what a great orator he is to thousands, millions even. Nick has written several books: Life Without Limits, Unstoppable, Love Without Limbs, Stand Strong, Limitless a devotional book, and several others. In each, he serves as an inspiration to all of us. In this latest book, Be the Hands and Feet, Nick provides encouragement and ideas on how we can be messengers of the good news of Jesus Christ. How does one start? Sharing faith can be awkward. He shares his own personal experiences and includes common questions brought to him and how he's responded.
Nick's compassionate heart shines through in this book. And he readily recognizes the work of those around him. Those whose ministry is to serve foster children or others who help victims of sex trafficking. He encourages the reader to seek out ways to serve this world, to show the love of Christ, to think outside the box. Attending church is great, but serving the community means leaving the safety of those church walls to help those in need.
Nick not only provides details on his life's journey but also how he pushes through a depression to discover God's love transcends any disability or brokenness. God had a plan for Nick from the very beginning and, as he shares in this book, it's because of his lack of limbs that he's able to approach anyone and share the Gospel. He's courageous in sharing his faith with someone on the street up to a high ranking official. Nick stresses the importance of a personal walk with God, daily prayer with Him, study in His Word and trust in His plan. This book was an interesting look into Nick's life, his struggles, his worries, and his faith. I received a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest opinion. -

I first discovered Nick Vujicic through his videos that I had seen in one of the youth groups I had been attending at the time several years ago. Nick has a humble and meek spirit that inspires all of those around him. He has no arms and legs so it’s beautiful to see that he has a strong faith and a passion for everyone to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. You’ll want to check out Vujicic’s newest release, Be the Hands and Feet. The author shares his own personal stories and experiences as he shares his faith that makes him vulnerable, real, compassionate, and inspiring. If you’re curious to learn how to share your faith with others, or maybe you want to but you’re afraid to, then I highly recommend this. This is a book for anyone and everyone so it doesn’t matter where you are in your walk with God as long as you have a desire to share your faith.
The author has sound theology and shares a lot of Scripture to back up his points without coming across as preachy. He talks to you in a relational sense like a good friend having a conversation. He answers the important questions one has about sharing their faith, he offers encouragement and practical ways and ideas that you can share your faith, and he addresses problems in the American church and ideas on how to fix that. This Gospel-centered book is one of the best books that I have read on the topic of evangelism.

It says right in the title that this book is about God, and the synopsis makes it clear that it's about Christianity, so i can't be too mad for the book being exactly what it said it would be. But ... Nick Vujicic is a magnificent motivational speaker; he inspires me and cheers me up, but I'm not Christian. And the more books he publishes, the more he promotes Christianity, and the more I have to dig around to glean inspiration. There were still parts of the book that were entertaining and inspiring, but I wish he'd write another book like his first book, that didn't feature Christianity quite so prominently.

Amazing book showing how we can show God's love to anyone and everyone, at any time and at any place. Nick Vujicic is an amazing person who loves to share God's grace. This book touches the heart and gives great encouragement. I received a copy of this book from the author and publisher and this is my personal honest opinion.

It was hard to rate this book. I give Nick a 10 out of 5. He is an extraordinary person. The book was fine and there were a lot of great nuggets. It did feel a bit jumbled and unfortunately it was difficult to find a flow. I had to take it in small chunks to get through. There were very meaningful insights so I would recommend it but there are books out there that are crafted better.

Nick writes thoughtfully and from the heart. You feel as tho your sitting on your couch with your best friend sharing how people can be the hands and feet for Jesus. Simple acts of kindness. Picking up heavy groceries for someone. All these things add up to being the hands and feet.

As I launch more and more books, I learn about how publishers have created genres for even Christian Non-Fiction books. Nick Vujicic has a biography Life without Limbs, a book about his faith Unstoppable, a devotional book, Limitless, a book about bullying called Stand Strong, he has a biography about his marriage Love without Limits, his Dad wrote a book about raising a perfectly imperfect child,so I wondered what this new book's content would be. It's in the category of Inspirational. And in my experience, an inspirational speaker is someone who encourages you, motivates you, and seeks to make you happy, but doesn't always have any kind of research or a strong narrative of where the inspiration comes from other than yourself.
I am thrilled to tell you that inspirational or motivational speaker Nick Vujicic considers himself an evangelist first, and if possible shares his testimony of salvation by faith alone with a full gospel of Jesus Christ disclosure! So his inspirational book is focused on sharing the gospel from any platform, and includes scripture that he uses or has influenced him, testimonies of how God has worked in his life and in other people's lives he has met along the way.
I would put this book in the category of an advice book with personal stories to make his suggestions, ideas, and strategies come to life and seem realistic for anyone. He shares his own life stories and some of his struggles, as well as his growth into his current role, Director of a Non-Profit, and International Speaker and Evangelist, who has used his invitations to meet with heads of State across the world, and offers to pray with them, and shares the gospel.
The Lord has also brought other people into his life, and Nick uses their stores to emphasize his main points. We are all called as believers to share the gospel. We are called to mentor others one on one, and help someone spiritually younger grow in their faith. He gives strategies to learn how to share your faith and even some scripture and answers to hard questions.
Nick's (I respect him, but his style is informal and vulnerable, and I can't imagine calling him Mr. Vujicic) writing is relational, not stuffy or formal, and he is direct, but kind as he reminds the reader of what God commands of us. It's easy to see why his presentations end with his offer to give you a hug and a personal word of encouragement. He is a man who sees people, as they are, accepts them, but wants them to clearly hear the truth that God loves them and has a wonderful plan for their life. (and he's not that cliche to say it that way.)
I have known him as a speaker often to Teens, so this book was fun to read, and learn about how not only does he appreciate and help Teens, he also works as a messenger of God with others to further the gospel which leads to business type endeavors and meeting important government people. But he started out small, taking his dog to the park in his wheel chair and talking to anyone who seemed interested. Using his no limbs platform to share his life and connect with others, he started sharing how God had a plan and purpose for him.
So if you are looking for strategies to share your faith, to hear about how a man without limbs has spoken to millions of people in his life so far, and how he still knows his family and four children are his biggest calling, this book is for you. I think this is a great book for as young as tweens/teen age kids and those newer in the faith to appreciate the ideas and input.

I don't know what to think of this book. For one, if anyone is familiar with the author [1], one knows that he has no arms and legs, but he does have hands and feet so he can be them. Obviously, then, the author is making a pun about his life. If you want to see the personal side of the author, this book has a lot to offer in terms of personal stories and intimacy. I feel a bit ambivalent about what the author shares, as a great deal of it feels like humblebragging and I feel the author does not always do a good job at dealing with the tension between trying to show himself as an example of a mentor to others and show his struggles as a human being who tends to overcommit and spread himself too thin. I also don't agree with all of his stances as far as personal evangelism and the ecumenical movement go, but all the same I found much here to appreciate and respect.
This book is divided into three sections after an introduction. The first five chapters are focused on letting one's light shine, with a look at how one is called to serve, answering questions, modeling the Gospel message at home, bearing godly fruit, and thinking out of the box. The next five chapters focus on building a team through mentoring, finding allies in the faith, building a big tent, and working on adventures in outreach. The book then closes with two chapters on finishing well, with a chapter about the author's father's struggle with metastatic cancer and a look at the author's own health crisis. Even though the book has a clear structure, the book does feel like it rambles a bit and that there is a lot of repetition. The author talks about his father's cancer scare on multiple occasions and mentions a few people over and over again, and it's not bad but it feels as if the book could have used a bit tighter editing. I suppose that once you become a massively popular author that the editing falls a bit by the wayside, as is the case here.
There are a variety of opinions I had about this book as I was reading it. I was pleased by the way that the author confessed his own struggle with honoring his father and his father's view of church while trying to pursue his own vision of speaking to as wide an audience as possible. I thought some of the author's stories about his time in Russia dealing with discrimination against people with disabilities and his humorous response to the Macedonian president who lectured him about biblical knowledge were intriguing. In particular, the author shows himself as not being as knowledgeable about the Bible as he thinks he is. This is a case where someone has spent a great deal of time and effort in showing himself to be good at heart and not nearly as focused on biblical knowledge. Even so, I still felt sympathetic towards the author. If I did not find the author a particularly deep thinker or particularly knowledgeable about scripture, I did at least think in reading this book that he was genuinely interested in the lives and evangelism efforts of other believers and that he wanted to use his own experiences to make him a more approachable believer. If his approach to evangelism is not the same as my own, at least this made for a relatable book.

Nick didn't set out to share the Gospel with the world despite the fact he grew up in a Christian Household. In fact he tells of how his career as a a Christian role model and inspirational speaker was an unexpected blessings. He reminds us too that we need to share what God means to us in a way that is relevant to them. He talks about his first speaking event at Logan Unity Church in Springwood Queensland. Nick Vuljicic speaks to both Christian and secular audiences as a motivational speaker. We are reminded too that Christians have to be on their toes and ready to share their faith at every opportunity given. We are reminded too that it is not God who inflicts pain. We are reminded too of understanding and accepting that we are sinners. In order to accept Christ we must also acknowledge that Jesus died on the cross for you, and to repent for our sins. And we must accept Jesus Christ into our hearts and lives. We are reminded too that self control is important that a Christians we should not give into temptation and if we do we must repent. In this book we are encouraged too, to dream big. We are reminded too of the importance of mentors in our walk with Christ. We are encouraged too to be Christian role models to others. We are reminded too that we as Christians are many parts of the same body. I give Be the Hands and Feet five out of five stars! Happy Reading!

There was lots to enjoy here. There’s advice to churches, the basic message of Christianity explained to non-believers and many anecdotes (mostly about Nick’s experiences) and stories about others. There’s a chapter on parenting and one focusing on his dad, including his dad’s battle with cancer…
The problem is that it feels a bit jumbled. It’s unclear what the aim and target audience are. The book does give a conclusion but it rarely seems to advise how to be God’s hands and feet. The most useful points were his 9 points on what he believed churches should be doing.
I would recommend Nick’s autobiography though. -
I've heard Nick Vujicic speak several times: a public arena, a military installation, a high school auditorium. I even got to be part of a greeting committee at the airport one of the times he came to Utah. His presentations are always spot on, his earlier books make for fascinating reading. And "Be the Hands and Feet" follows that pattern.
It's so obvious that Nick speaks from the heart, and his heart is beating in time with the Heart of God.
I got a different feel from reading this books, than other books by Nick. Those always seemed to me to be motivational--directed to those that are often, for whatever reason, marginalized from society. Whether in books or speaking engagements, I walked away feeling empowered. One looks at the body of Nick Vujicic (one without hands or feet) and realize what he is doing, and you can't help but think, 'if he can do _____(and it's an impressive list of things he's done and experienced!), then I can certainly get through my issue, or meet my goals, or fulfill my dreams.
In "Be the Hands and Feet: Living Out God's Love for All His Children", I felt that there is a slight difference. This book is a call to the church, a call to the community, a call to the culture and society to actually be the hands and feet of God. Treat others--especially the ones that you might not normally associate with--as Jesus would treat them. This is a battle cry for human rights, human dignity, and Shalom such as humanity hasn't seen since the Garden of Eden.
Let Nick touch your heart, and encourage it to beat in time with the Heart of God.

If you are looking for a book that will inspire you to press into your calling to "plant seeds of faith with love and respect", Be the Hands and Feet is a book you will want to read. The focus of this book is to help Christ followers to share their faith and bring others to Christ. In the introduction, he sets out the premise of this particular book in these words: "We can't just be passengers in the boat. We need to cast our lines because there is an ocean of people out there who need the redemptive power of God's love."
The book is laid out in three sections, following the introduction:
Part I: Letting Your Light Shine
Part II: Build A Team
Part III: Finish Well
In each of these sections Nick shares stories from his life and those of others whom he has come into contact with that will inspire you to reach out to others to share your faith, to inspire others to be the best they can be, and bring hope to a world that needs God's grace and love.
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that I felt that in spite of the structure given with the sections within the books there was a lack of flow in certain sections. I was feeling that I needed to push through a bit to get the best parts. In spite of that, I felt the greatest content of the book accomplished the goals that the author set out in the introduction. I especially loved 'God's Big Tent' Chapter and the message of Kingdom-mindedness.
This will be a book to challenge and inspire you to be all that God has called you to; to "be Jesus" in the lives of others.
As Nick says, “If God can use a man without arms and legs, then He will certainly use any willing heart!”

I just finished a book that will challenge you in your role as a Christ follower! Be the Hands and Feet is by Nick Vujicic and shares many ways that us average people can give more to help win others to Christ. I loved the storytelling and friendly tone of Nick's writing...you feel like you're talking to an old friend who offers support and guidance.
There are many practical ways to live out our faith, many of which we rush past or perhaps never thought of. This book encourages you to look outside the box and think of new ways to serve, be it in the disability community, foster care community, work community, or just the community as a whole. Instead of "programming" or church initiatives, we should be looking for relationships with those around us who need Jesus in their lives. Relational equity can help us live out the reason for our faith in front of others, in everyday circumstances.
Nick is a powerful writer with a huge heart for reaching the lost. I wouldn't say that I evangelize in the traditional sense of the word, but this book encouraged me to use the skills I already have to show others Christ's redeeming love. I also enjoyed the stories peppered through the book by friends, family, coworkers and mentors/mentees of Nick's.
Great stuff to be found here! Don't expect to read and stay the same. ;)

Jesus Told Us to Serve His Children
More than anything else, BE THE HANDS AND FEET is a book of ENCOURAGEMENT. The author, Nick Vujicic, believes in the "Big Tent" method of Christian evangelism. He's not interested in pushing a particular denomination or approach; rather, he's interested in how individuals can be like Jesus everyday--how we each can be the "hands and the feet" to those suffering, and especially to those who need to hear the Gospel. "My encouragement to pastors everywhere is to come under one tent to fulfill this primary mission, the Great Commission."
There is lots to like in BE THE HANDS AND FEET. Nick provide various ideas on how Christian believers can demonstrate God's love for a lost and dying world. Many of the stories are from fellow believers the author has met in his travels.
The latter part of the book descibes Nick's own struggle with some painful medical problems and procedures he had to endure. The book also includes a powerful testimony all about his dad in "My Father A Model for Life."
I thought this one sentence from Nick nicely describes the theme of this book: "Jesus didn't tell us to build the biggest churches we could build. He told us to serve his children."

Nick Vujicic is such a motivational writer (and speaker). He has overcome so many hurdles in his life. In spite of his disabilities he has devoted his life to inspiring others. I love the quote “If god can use a man without arms and legs, then He will certainly use any willing heart.”
Be the Hands and Feet tells the story of how Nick Vujicic decided to devote his life to sharing the gospel. Another great quote from the book, “ I had to get comfortable with myself and my beliefs before I could ever be comfortable, or effective, in sharing my faith with other people.” Nick addresses some of the questions often asked by atheists. And he provides reasons why we must all be the hands and feet for Christ. I love his transparency. Nick Vujicic gives life examples of times he shared his faith. And he also addresses head on some of the challenges or excuses that we might use not to speak up. This is the second book I have read from this author. He is very charismatic and really impresses me with his positive attitude. I look forward to reading more of his books.

I was really curious about Nick’s life and I love to see God use people for his glory and I’ve found myself following him and he’s family especially for my personal encouragement. I personally struggle sometimes and life has many heartaches and when I was in my 20’s I suffered from severe depression. So I couldn’t wait to dive into this one.
I liked that Nick was honest about speaking and sharing to “ALL” platforms because, “he wants to reach people where they are in the world” and also feel it’s important to meet people where they are. He was very honest and real about what he’s doing and I liked that also.
And I was also grateful for the question and answers part of his book because honestly we do t share enough about how to answer these questions. Very helpful insight. ♥️
What was really special about this was when he addressed each question he also brought it home with his personal experience each time and I think thats the best witness of all. People can not dispute your story.
And Nick, thank you. I do feel stronger as a Christian.

Again, what this man's already done and what this man is doing to this day never ceases to amaze me. He's brilliant and he's also very clever and witty. And he truly cares about his family, his own family, and family he grew up with. And according to this book, he also happens to be a very good writer. He's written many books already, he's written a book about faith, he's written a book about life, he's written book about love, and he's written book about bullying that sadly still happens, but this book, is different in a very special way, for he shares a lot more in it. Many things which I shall not name, because I don't want to ruin the blessing and experience this book can bring into your life, if you decide to read it. I will say this though, not many books made me cry, but this one made me cry, and I am glad that I cried, that I shed a few tears, for what this man does for the love of his life, his children, his family, all the children of the world, everyone who feel lost in this world, is truly beautiful and truly honorable, and truly admirable, and worth thousands of stars. As you read the pages of Nick’s new book, be prepared for your heart to be challenged. Nick clearly and compellingly makes his case that each one of us can be an effective witness for Christ, no matter where we live or what
skill sets we might possess. Nick’s main emphasis in this book is that God has placed each of us where we are and has given us all we need to share His love with the world.

Nick has a unique way of inviting you into his story and making you want to stay in that story forever. He shows you the truth that "If God can use a man without arms and legs to be his hands and feet, then he will certainly use any willing heart". This book goes on to give great examples of how being the hands of feet of Jesus (which is what we are ALL called to be) can look so different but still have monumental impact. Being the hands and feet can look as big as being a missionary on a foreign field or as simple as helping out a neighbor. Our purpose in this life boils down to a simple fact that Jesus loves us all and came to save us all, and our job is to do what we can with what God has put before us. We do our part and trust God to expand the results beyond our wildest imaginations. This book gives you that inspiring kick to go and change the world.
