Most people in Sweet Grove know Melody quit college in the first semester of her sophomore year because her father died. A few even know that when she came back to Sweet Grove, she was pregnant. When Jake Hayes decides to stay at the Orchard Blossom Inn while covering for his friend as the town’s large animal veterinarian, he’s hoping for a quiet Rockwell-type Christmas, and Sweet Grove certainly fits the bill. Everyone’s friendly—everyone, that is, except Melody. Now the two are forced to work together, and one of them is going to have to give in… or give up.

This is a clean romance.
This is . Melody and Jake's story. Since Jake is a Vet filling in for Doc Stewart while Doc is on vacation. Melody is the vet assistant. So they must work together. Melody has a bad first impression of Jake. Their friendship grows then its near time for Jake to leave. Will circumstances bring them closer or push them apart?

This is a romance novella which is part of the First Street Church Kindle World. Melody's first impression of Jake is unfavorable when he drives his classic Mustang to stay at the Orange Blossom Inn in Sweet Grove, TX. Fortunately their relationship develops as they reluctantly have to work together at the veterinarian's office. I enjoyed how the author was able to bring these character's to life through their actions and dialogue.

Sweet Clean Novella
This sweet story really makes the reader want to know more about the characters and read the next story. The plot is nice and the people are complicated. This is part of the First Street Church Romance Kindle World. I have read other books from this world and this is in keeping with them. While this is not heavily faith-filled, it does have elements of faith. This story is more about the small town of Sweet Grove. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to share my honest review. -
Never judge a book by its cover. Melody can't help herself when she judges the new vet Jake by the car he drives due to bad experiences with men who drove fancy cars. As she works with him as his assistant she will find out that Jake hasn't had it so easy himself. Can she learn to trust him and find Love? The ending is good and I would have enjoyed more to the story. Hopefully we will hear more about this couple in the future. I received a complimentary copy and this review is voluntary.

Such a nice short story about two people, Melody and Jake who would like to avoid each other; however life has other plans and the two end up working together. Melody has been hurt in the past and therefore doesn’t want to let anyone close to her again. Jake has his own problems and between God and the town people they end up actually enjoying each other’s company.

Another really sweet romance set in Sweet Grove! Loved Jake & Melody! Jake realizes that there is something keeping Melody very guarded but doesn't know what. He treats her with kid gloves and gives her space and watches out for her while they are at work. Melody makes a quick judgement of Jake and then has to reassess as she gets to know him better. Very quick read and oh so sweet romance! Loved it!

A Sweet Romance
This is a sweet romance about a woman's journey of healing.
I loved the story,the characters and the setting of Sweet Grove.
I recommend this book to those that love romance. -
A sweet story and a nice addition to Sweet Grove though I did feel the end was a bit sudden. I would have liked it to go a little further in the relationship or perhaps have an epilogue.
