The day after I slept with Kai and Maddox, I married another man.
I was young. Greedy. Selfish. Before I sold my body and my soul, I wanted one night for myself.

So I lied. I pretended to be someone I wasn’t. Took what I wanted, no matter the cost.

Ten years later, I’ve created a new life for myself. I’ve outrun my past. Faced my fears. Vanquished my demons.

Then they reappear. Kai and Maddox.

They're angry. They want to know why.

They're determined to see past the lies and uncover the truth.

It's time for me to pay for my sins.

Taming Avery is a standalone ménage romance with a HEA ending. No cheating, no cliffhangers!

    Yes...Yes...Yes💥💥💥

The chemistry, the raw emotion, the pain, oh my. Kai, Maddox and Avery's dom/sub dynamic was everything! I loved them together. Of course, nothing good comes without trouble and they had plenty of it. From greed, secrets, manipulation, trust issues and everything in between. Then you have... The Club. What goes on in that club, stays in that club and the scenes were 🔥. You have to read it for yourself to see what I mean because if I continue, I will spoil the book for you. A must read!

Ok here’s the thing. I really enjoyed this book. I liked the tension. I liked the second chance aspects of it even though that’s not my favorite trope. I liked all the characters and how they were developed throughout. Here’s where I have a few minor gripes though.
In the previous book with Fiona and her two doms, she talks about Kai doing a fire demo at the club, and I’ll be honest, part of the draw to this book for me was the possibility of fire play. Did we get that? No. And I find myself disappointed with not only that but the level of bdsm that shows up in not only this book but the previous book as well.
The sex that was in the book was hot, I’ll give it that. It had some aspects of bdsm to it, I just think it could’ve had more. This is like power play light, in my opinion. And the description of the book and the way things are portrayed in the book really don’t give off that vibe. It’s like there’s this whole other side to the characters, and their relationship that the author just left out completely that goes far deeper into the bdsm world than she shows. And maybe that’s just a personal preference. Maybe you’ll enjoy this book More because of that. I don’t know. My thought is either, the author left out that stuff in the hopes that more people would like the books, or she left out that stuff because she doesn’t know much about them and didn’t want to do the research into them so that she could include them into the books. Either way I would’ve been more satisfied with this book had she included some more kinky things.
Then there’s the drama that happens, and how it’s dealt with during what I think is the climax of the book.
They’re sitting down. Everything is finally coming together, they’re gonna talk about everything that’s been happening and be honest with each other. Avery is not even a third of the way through her retelling of events, and they interrupt her to give her life altering news. To which she is understandably distraught, and thinking aloud she says some of the rest of her truth in a way that doesn’t exactly look good.
And Kai and Maddox decide, for the second time I might add, to overreact.
I was not happy with that at all. And honestly I wasnt happy with the resolution to their behavior either. I don’t know.
This wasn’t a novella. The author had time to make the characters communicate properly, apologize correctly. One of the main characters is a damn psychiatrist for gods sake. They couldn’t find the time to sit down and talk about their feelings?
I liked the book. It wasn’t my favorite. And I don’t think I’ll read any of the others in the series. The whole last third of this book kind of just ruined it for me.

Again if you are looking for a wonderful story with some great menage go no further than Tara's stories.

Avery is a wonderful character. She is strong and willing to do what she needs to to get what she wants. But what she wants and what she needs are way too different things. All through this book, there are things going on with the three main characters and I just wanted to scream at each of them.

Like all good things there are conflict and then resolutions. This book gives you a wonderful ride with some great sex. :) This is a must read.

This is the story of Kai, Maddox and Avery and it takes place over a span of 10 years. I loved how we get the backstory of what happened to this trio, who were obviously in love with each other but for reasons unknown until 10 years later, has Avery walking away from the guys. They've never forgotten her and when she shows up, their intention is to make her pay for the heartache and betrayal they have felt. The story gets interesting because of all the twists and turns. I felt bad for Avery and for the guys when the whole truth comes out! It was riveting to see it all unfold, but will the guys be able to forgive Avery and can she move past the hurt in her life? Love this book!

    Cinque stelline!

Club Ménage, Book 2. WOW! I want my Club Ménage yesterday!

Ten years. Has it really been that long? At 19 years of age, Avery Welch made an impulsive, capricious decision and experienced the most wonderful two weeks of her life. Then she walked away from certain love to marry Victor Lowell the very next day. The biggest mistake of her life crushed her spirit and changed her forever. Divorcing Victor freed her. But at what cost? Avery may have moved on and made a life in the U.S., but is she prepared for what lies ahead? Ten years ago, a pivotal point in their lives nearly destroyed Kai Bowen and Maddox Wake. Despite appearances to the contrary, Maddox and Kai have never forgotten those events, nor have they forgiven the person responsible. When Avery shows up at Club Ménage, the most exclusive BDSM club in D.C., Maddox and Kai see it as their chance for payback. But Avery wants more, much more. Can there be any coming back from a betrayal that soul deep? Despite the unresolved anger and betrayal, the chemistry's still there, as hot and blazing as ever. But none of the three knows the whole story. Despite the cardinal rules of BDSM, truth and true communication between them is nonexistent. As long-buried secrets slowly come to light, is anyone be prepared for what's about to occur? The more time the three spend together, the more distrust is sown. When Avery's estranged family and Victor Lowell reappear out of nowhere, a combustible mixture is formed calculated to end in disaster. As Avery's put in the most difficult situation of her life, the ultimate showdown occurs. Caught in an impossible position between her family and Victor's Machiavellian machinations, she faces losing Maddox and Kai all over again. Only this time, there won't be any coming back. Will she cave to the pressure of the past? There seems no choice. Can Kai and Maddox even begin to forgive Avery? Is Avery willing to sacrifice everything again, just like she did ten years ago? If there's any hope, it lies in the foundations of their BDSM relationship...truth, honesty, communication, and most of all, trust. But is this even possible? If not, history repeats itself, the past wins and the future is gone forever!

I absolutely love Club Ménage! Avery's wonderful although, at times, a complete contradiction. Brilliant, funny, perfect for her job, and willing to fight for what she wants, she's built a life for herself despite the odds. But she's never truly found herself. Her past trauma and regrets make her vulnerable, confused and, in many ways, blind to her own needs. Her submission simmers unseen just below the surface. For me, she's incredibly relatable. Kai and Maddox are amazingly complex and, in many ways, just as broken and blind as Avery. Then there's the whole "hot as hell" aspect of both men. That they're true dominants is never in question. But while the dominance and submission are what initially pulled me into this story, they aren't what make these three irresistible. All of them have layers of complexity to their personalities, and that's what makes this book so compelling. The connection between these three is as seductive as it is scorching hot. That there are so many obstacles to overcome adds complete unpredictability to the story. This book is so much more than a ménage relationship. Absolutely nothing is simple about this story. It's beautifully written, a true roller coaster of emotions and unexpected twists and turns that will keep you captivated from the first page! Congratulations, Ms. Crescent! This book is amazing and deserving of far more than five stars!

A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the author. She works hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to a book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.

Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Avery, Kai & Maddox = A Captivating & Tempting Read!
Taming Avery is the story of Avery, Kai and Maddox. These three meet when a young Avery was a bartender. Avery, Kai and Maddox go away together. After 2 amazing weeks together, Avery leaves without a word. Ten year past before Kai and Maddox see Avery again. Will things ever be the same? Will the men forgive Avery?

Avery is a strong and independent woman. She is a therapist. Avery has worked hard for everything in her life. Avery still has a lot of things that she struggles with. She tries to hide her fears and vulnerability. I love her sassy & feisty personality.

Kai is a doctor. Maddox is a photographer / artist. The men are friends and members of the Club M. Kai and Maddox are doms & alphas. I love that they have a sweet and caring side, but can be very protective and bossy also. The men are don't like for people to see or know when they are vulnerable. Kai and Maddox were upset when Avery left. They each care for her deeply. Avery's leaving effected the men in many aspects of their lives.

Taming Avery is a compelling & seductive story. The chemistry between the characters are delectable. I love how they seem to be so draw to each other as if magnetic. It does not matter what has happened or how long it has been. I appreciate that there is some suspense / twists in the story. Taming Avery has romance, menage, hot scenes, interesting characters, well developed storyline, love, & HEA. In my opinion, this story is about coincidences / fate & true love.Taming Avery is one of my favorite Tara Crescent books, if not my favorite. Taming Avery is the 2nd book in the Club Menage Series. This is can be read as a standalone. I recommend this to everyone.

  • HANNAH (Books, Films, and Tea)

Taming Avery by Tara Crescent was a steamy and erotic mfm, second chance romance. Avery, Kai, and Maddox had two amazing weeks together in Dublin when Avery was 19 and experiencing her last days as a free woman. They fell in love, but Avery had to leave them because she was to marry Victor. Her parents arranged for her to marry Victor because they were in debt and he was rich. 10 years later, Avery is single and has left Victor because he was abusive. She hears that Kai and Maddox are at a club, and decides to join, because she wants to see them again and say sorry for how she left them. It is a kink club, but she's willing to try new things. Kai and Maddox have been burned by Avery once already, and they want to make her pay for it. At Club Menage, Avery learns how kinky Kai and Maddox are. She sees them and knows they're still upset with her. When she gets into some financial trouble because of her parents, Maddox says he'll give her the money she needs in exchange for playing with him and Kai every Saturday for the next few weekends. Avery agrees, but she knows that she's still in love with them and doesn't know how she'll come out of this without her heart broken. Kai and Maddox are realizing that they still have feelings for Avery as well. I really liked the relationship between Avery, Kai and Maddox. They all have personal stories as well their relationship. Kai with his shaking hands and work as a surgeon and Maddox with his family. Avery was a bit annoying with the whole Victor situation, and it felt kind of uncharacteristic of her to be so blind to what her parents and Victor were doing. I liked the steamy scenes and thought there was a good balance between them and the scenes with Avery, Kai, and Maddox just spending time together and learning about each other. I thought the ending, where everything was being resolved and sorted, was a bit short, but it didn't feel too sudden. Overall I really enjoyed this second chance menage romance!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

Then they appear again. Kai and Maddox. They are angry. They want to know why. They are determined to see past the lies and uncover the truth. It is time for me to pay for my sins.

This book is absolutely amazing. You get to see ten years in the life of the main character Avery. She had two of the most wonderful weeks of her life with Kai and Maddox and they were obviously falling in love with each other and then Avery just walks away and marries the next day. This was the biggest mistake of her life and ended up changing her but the divorce she gets frees her from all that. However ten years ago events nearly destroyed Kai and Maddox and they have never ever forgive the person who was responsible. What they don't expect is for Avery to walk into Club Menage and their chance for revenge to fall into their laps. But Avery wants more and she is asking for the impossible. For Kai and Maddox to get over something that changed them and rocked them to their very core. I loved this book. I loved watching it all ebb and flow. Tara Crescent is one of my favorites when it comes to meange and she doesn't disappoint with taming Avery. You guys to not want to miss this book. I will be thinking about this one and rereading it many times over.

Steamy, sexy hot , second chance menage romance

    Taming Avery
    By Tara Cresant

Avery, Kai and Maddox had an amazing intense threesome that lasted two weeks. It ended abruptly with Avery leaving and marrying another man without any explanation. Then for the last ten years they have been three lost souls floating endlessly pretending to live their lives. She learns that Kai is in town and at Club M a very exclusive BDSM/ sex club. She decides to get a trial membership so she can explain and apologize for her sudden departure ten years ago from his and Maddox's lives.
This story was a delightful second chance romance. Their journey to finding love again was filled with hurdles from threats, misunderstandings, family betrayals, secrets, and trust issues. They learned to navigate through them all to realize life is too short not to hold on tight to the ones you love.
    5 steamy 🔥⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Fourteen.

Fourteen is the number of days they spent together 10 years ago, and the next day, Avery left & married another man. What Kai and Maddox didn’t know was that she was doing it to save her father from the mob.

Now Avery has found them again & will try to meet up with them at a local BDSM club in order to finally apologize. However, they seem to just be intent on just using her & leaving her.

However, she ends up having problems trying to come up with money to help her parents again, so she tries to sell her engagement ring. However, her ex is is now back in her life, intent on getting her arrested for selling his ring (saying she stole it), or else getting her back. These are her choices.

Kai and Maddox end up helping her, & she gets the money in exchange for 14 weeks with them.

But is 14 enough for all of them?

Can they go from fourteen to forever?

Great story, well written. Worth reading!

    Love a 2nd chance

This is Book 2 that follows Club M I do like that whilst the men in the menage are all connected through Club M, the women that so far have been starred have shown in the books so Far.
They are all standalone in their own right but are interconnected.
Theirs to Possess Follows another pair Of MMC who are attached to the Club and Owner and FMC The one who ran away 10 yrs prior, who just happens to be the Therapist of The first FMC in book 1. Who Also Happens to be the reason the FMC in this book goes into Club M in hopes to run into them. This Is A HEA lots of Spice and the Characters for the Next book in the series are mentioned again in this book. Xavier the Club M owner seems to the quite the matchmaker and subtly guides the couples. I can't wait to see How he guides the next Menage.
I'm also Routing for Xavier, Rafe and Layla to get their HEA though it's not a Menage in the series so Far.

    Ok

Not quite sure what to say. I read other reviews to find everyone's was a carbon copy of the other. A brief run down of an already printed blurb followed by ARC. It didn't help. I loved the first book but I ended up skipping a lot of this one just to get to the point of the story. Maddox and Kai's storylines don't have much baring on this book. I found as intelligent career minded men, they were idiots. They never let Avery talk to them when she needed to, interrupting her all the way through, yet blamed her for not opening up to them. Avery ...well, I'm really not sure how to describe her. For a counsellor/psychologist she couldn't see the manipulations and behaviour of those around her. Of course it's all part of the storyline .
I'd still recommend this book and ask others to make their own mind up.

  • BookLover

    Enjoyable Book

This is book 2 and as great a read as book 1. This is Avery’s story and she’s lived with regret for 10 years because she did what her parents asked of her. Divorced now for 7 years she wants nothing more than to right the wrong when at 19 she walked away from Maddox and Kai but suddenly her parents are back along with her ex husband. Will Avery repeat the mistakes she made 10 years ago or follow her heart. Can Maddox and Kai forgive Avery? Grab your copy and find out for yourself. Tara winds enough mystery and suspense along with hurt, pain and love into her stories. The only thing I was disappointed with is that the story ends very abruptly. I’m literally reading along engrossed in the story and turn the page and it’s The End. I can’t wait to read book 3, Keira’s story.

  • Sandi Ramirez

Club M where are you? Can I join? Author Tara Crescent can sure write a story and she is always known to give us more than we are asking her for. And she does not disappoint us in Taming Avery. We have Avery who has been forced into marriage by her parents. In an arranged marriage that was horrible for the time it lasted. BUT for two wonderful weeks before it did she had Kai and Maddox. One could say she always had Ireland. Well, except for the sneaking away in the middle of the night part to marry this older man. Fast forward ten years and Avery, Kai and Maddox meet again but this time in DC. Life had changed for them but it also comes back full circle. This book is well written and had me reading it in one sitting. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

  • Susan

I really enjoyed this book! Tara Crescent did a great job developing the characters in this book, so that you felt like you really knew them. Then, she developed a story that had lots of things going on, so that you were never sure what was going to happen next, and couldn't wait to find ouf. Avery is a therapist, Kai is a surgeon, and Maddox is a world renowned photographer. They had spent two weeks together 10 years ago in England, and have unexpectedly come together again in the United States. I like how they each have their own interesting storyline, and then they come together with one also. I voluntarily reviewed this advance copy, and if you like a MFM menage, I highly recommend it.

  • lynn❤️lynn

    Nice

A nice enjoyable, easy read. Mc leaves husband, who then chases her to America. She’s already had a relationship with two Dons ten years previous. She meets back up with them, and their passionate relationship picks straight back up, after a little hiccup at the start. The ex husband and greedy parents make up part of an interesting story, which slowly develops, along with the relationship.
Then I found the ending rushed. They seem to sort everything in the matter of a few pages, the collaring was a half paragraph affair, then they’re off the live HEA. I was happy, but disappointed that it just ended so fast. I think more could have been made of this, it just felt rushed

  • Saskia

The second book in the Club M series and it can be read as a stand alone.

This is the story of Avery, Kai and Maddox. The spent the most amazing two weeks together 10 years ago, then Avery left without saying a word. Now they meet up again.
Secrets torn them apart 10 years ago, but will things be different this time?

All three of them are likeable characters, they are not perfect, but that makes them human. When they are together there is so much positive energy and they just connect. There is a lot of love and support for eachother.

It is a wonderful read and once I started I couldn’t stop reading

  • Liz Kent

10 years ago Avery decided to make a choice of her own that didn't involve her parents or what was technically right.
2 weeks in Dublin with two men she met whilst she was bartenders.
Finally free to do what she wants and back in D.C. as a therapist the memories and guilt have now come back to haunt her when a conversation with her friend Fiona (Claiming Fifi) brings to light Club M.
What happens when Kai and Maddox find her at the club?

With twists, secrets and heartbreak what else could happen?

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Nicole Barkman

Avery's sins come back as the villian and the scheming sidekicks try to claim her once again. Both are manipulative and calculating and make the mistake of thinking she is the same girl as 10 years before.

The book summary is misleading but totally worth it since it tells the story but leaves so very much out so you can piece everything together for yourselves. Taming Avery will keep you on your toes due to miscommunication and the result of no communication at all. I highly recommend this series.

  • Tris Wynters

    Short and sweet

I love the second-chance trope and love, even more that it was the FMC who hurt the guys in the beginning. I hated Victor, replayed the perfect, uppity villain, but it didn't take away from the story between the MCs. Some scenes were spice, but there were a few times where a position change or a word just didn't make sense. I'd read and re-read, even go back a few paragraphs to see if I missed something, but it washust random snagging the storyline.
    Overall, sweet read.

  • Tammy

Avery spent two steamy weeks with Kai and Maddox and then marries another. Now 10 years later they see each other again. Kai and Maddox don’t plan on letting her go again. Can they all get past the secrets they hold or will they be broken apart again? This is a fast-paced read with great characters, plenty of drama and off the charts hot. I was hooked from beginning to end, the story really draws you in and I really liked the characters. Loved it!

Main Characters: Avery, Kai & Maddox
I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.
    5 out of 5 stars
Loved the book. It is an mfm ménage which is just about my favorite genre. This story covers 10 years and has a surprise towards the end. Wow, Tara writes great books. This has a hea ending and is a standalone with no cliffhangers.
