Mas "Rescued by Sea Nymph" foi incrivelmente lindo, apaixonante,, deixou um gostinho de querer mais desse casal...
Captain James Harlow e Ione... James passou por algo muito horrível, causado por uma pessoa sem nenhum senso de honra... Mas isso faz com que ele, tenha a honra de ser salvou por uma linda Sereia.. Ione está perdida e sozinha, até que salva um homem, e ao olhar para ele, tudo passa a fazer sentido...
E com isso ela faz um "pedido" a Poseidon em troca da sua imortalidade... E com isso ela ganha três dia para pensar, mas é claro que ela já tinha se decidido... 🥰🥰🥰

Rescued by a Sea Nymph by Rebekah Lewis is a story about a sad mermaid whom wanted to try living in the mortal world. While lost in thoughts swimming she saw a man that's nearly drowning and felt the urge to save him even if he's a human. Man and Nymph fell in love with each other almost instantly and accepted each other, they then chose a life together to try a chance for their own happily ever after.
This story of a fantasy historical romance is all new to me and this is my first time to read about this genre but as magical as the story.. I love it! It's so sweet.. even if they were so different, even if he was a man and she was a nymph they've decided that it don't matter!
I do recommend this book for everyone who wants a feel good romance and just wants to relax.
Definitely a 5 star read for me. :) -
Rescued by a Sea Nymph by Rebekah Lewis is a fantasy romance about a Sea Nymph that fell in love with a mortal man. I listened to this book on audio narrated by Megan Green. Megan Green did a great job narrating. I loved her accent throughout this book. This is the first book of Rebekah Lewis's that I have read and look forward to reading more of her books in the future. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes historical paranormal romances.

James is merely the third son of a viscount, a position where he won't inherit a title or a fortune, so he sets off to make his own. While the majority of his work as a ship's captain is legal, he has been known to smuggle a bit, something that could send him to the gallows. One night, he taken hostage by a band of men who want his ship and his beautiful sister. When he defies them, they cut off his hand and toss him into the sea.
Ione has drifted along in her underwater kingdom for years, the outcast of her flashier sisters. She wants more out of life than to breed with a human male and then send him to his grave. And when one in need of her help floats into her ocean, she can't help but go against every instinct she has, just to save his life.
Poseidon is feeling generous and gives James a hook for a hand and Ione three days on land to decide her future. But when the men that attacked James are still at large and everyone in the ton wants to know more about the mysterious beauty on his arm, three days might feel like a lifetime.
First of all, I love the gods and goddesses in London theme. They pop in and out of mortals' lives, sometimes doing good and sometimes tossing them to the Kraken. I'm really into the theme and I'm going to look into the rest of the books in the series to get my fix.
Ione is charming, funny, and practical beyond words when it comes to silly human rules like not being able to ride in a carriage with a man and not dancing the waltz too often. She is a modern woman in a mermaid world who doesn't need a man to be happy, but she wouldn't mind taking one for a spin. The whole book, I was rooting for her to get her guy, get her legs, and get everything else in the world she wanted. Sure, James is great too, but Ione is a smart mermaid with a quick wit, so she's my obvious favorite.
It's always so funny to me when a narrator goes from one extreme to the other without pause. The first work of Green's I listened to was a squeaky clean romance with a few pecks, but this book has a lot more steam than that! But I guess that's what's impressive about voice actors, they need to have a certain kind of flexibility to allow them to cover so many different kinds of works.
Overall, this book is funny, interesting, different, sexy without being erotic, and a must read...or listen. I'm really not picky, as long as you grab a copy. -
This is my 1st read and review for this author and this is a fantastic story I enjoyed it immensely. Ione isn’t like other mermaids she doesn’t kill her conquests not like her sisters and when she saves a man in the ocean she trades her fins for legs and she has 3 days to find out if James is her love mate for life. James is the 3rd son of a Viscount his life is boring he wants some adventure in his life and he definitely finds that when he is attacked by a gang of ruffians and thrown into the sea and left for dead. This is a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

I was a bit dubious when I started this thinking it was just a run of the mill romance set in the times of pirates, is not really my cup of tea!, but I have to admit I was very pleasantly surprised and very glad I persevered!! It has humour, drama and no small bit of mythology thrown in too! I loved the whole in the end and it was well written with good descriptions and no-one was perfect!! The ending, too, was satisfactory!

This was my first Rebekah Lewis's book, and won't be the last. This is the first book in the London Mythos Series. James and Ione are great opposites characters. They share a strong and instant attraction/love. Their story is so sweet, sexy, fun, and beautiful. This is a great Fantasy Tale and Historical Romance, and I enjoyed it so much! Now, I am looking forward for the next book in the Series. Megan Green did an amazing narration. I love her voice and beautiful accent. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily written this review.

This is the first book I’ve ever listened to that was about a fantasy creature in the ocean and I absolutely LOVED it! The views is a Sea Nymph ad how they can choose to stay in the ocean or live on land if they have found love it a breathtaking listen. It is like an adult version of The Little Mermaid (which was my favorite when I was younger) so this book is just perfect.
The narration on this book is great as well. I loved the accent she had throughout this book. -

I'm a bit torn about this one. I enjoyed the story, but the narration was a bit weird for me. Both James and Ione are looking for adventure, and they certainly find it together. This story has romance, Poseidon (I love Poseidon), a well-written villain... what's not to like?! I think this is a nice start to a series. I'm intrigued enough to read the next book!

Having been drawn to the book by what I had saw the blurb, I was lost my interst at the half-way through. Great jump of the plot, mixed time of narration and frequent shift of focus produce many blanks. Anyway, I like the plot ideas.
