Heartburst (Marvel Graphic Novel, #10) Reviews
-
I'm a sucker for sexy green-skinned women, wether a She-Hulk, a Star Trek alien, even the sometines green Poison Ivy, or more recently, a plant/woman hybrid from
, so yeah, reading Rick Veitch's Heartburst was fun.
Oh, and not only is the sexy green woman, er, green, she has a cute little nub of a tail ;-) -
Veitch is one of the best at identifying and "calling out" the travesties and foolishness of humans and what we like to call "society" but the way he puts it on paper is rife with cheese.
The art is pretty solid. -
Wow. Terrible. The worst is the dialog, which sounds like it was written by a 10-year-old.

3 / 5 for 'Heartburst' by Rick Veitch
Another early Marvel Graphic Novel, with art and story by Rick Veitch. Basically a sci-fi romance on an odd alien planet, between a human and a native plant/woman hybrid. Excellent art, and humorous throughout, but it sometimes feels a little cheesy and the dialogue isn't the best I've ever read.
Worth a read though - 3 /5. -
Good SiFi story. Good Art and Plot. Recommended

A somewhat entertaining sci-fi tale mired with bad dialogue. I'm a fan of Veitch's other works, but even his artwork doesn't really work for me that much here.
