1000 Facts about Historic Figures Vol. 3 Reviews
-
Overall, a good trivia book. Although, it appears some of the facts may need additional research-- as in the case of “trivia fact 430.” It is stated that Issac Newton invented the ridges on the edge of coins to make it harder to counterfeit them. In actuality ridges on coins were more to do with people being unable to cull the edges of silver and gold coins thereby keeping the coin's value.
It was also obvious that the writer was not a huge fan of Winston Churchill. Sad because Churchill was likely a better (and funnier man) than the writer. -
Spellbinding
I was enthralled with this book. It contains little know facts about many historical figures. Each "chapter" contains the name of the subject with the years of their life below the name. Then the list of facts. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of trivia or historical figures. Great book!! -

These little facts are interesting and some what educational. However, for the love of all readers everywhere, employ both a proof reader and a fact checker. -
