They zoom past us on interstate highways, almost blowing small cars off the road with their wind and blinding drivers when they splash by during torrential rains. Yes, those heavy hauler trucks are hard to miss, and they fascinate many youngsters. Readers are introduced to five different ones that the truck-loving Finn loves best, including a tanker, a dry van, a bull hauler, a refrigerator van, and an auto hauler. As is the case with the other books in this series, readers find a sentence identifying each truck and asking readers to guess what the rig might be carrying on the left-hand page. On the facing page, they will see an outline of the truck with its various parts labeled, and then, when they lift the flap, they can learn how the truck is used and what it typically carries and have their guesses confirmed or refuted. Because this is a board book, it is quite sturdy and should stand up to multiple handlings.
