A sweet and a little steamy older man, younger women romantic drama. Loved Jack and Molly. Two nice epilogue's to wrap up their story. -
Molly gets a job through her stepfather, Claude, working in the kitchen at a lumber camp. Molly wants to make a lot of money, so she can make a home for herself and her brother away from their stepfather's strict rules and controlling ways. Jack works for Claude as the camp boss for the lumber harvesting company. Jack is surprised when Molly shows up to work because he wasn't informed she was hired at the last minute. Jack and Molly are attracted to each other at first glance. When an accident leaves Molly without a place to bunk, Jack offers to let her bunk at his cabin. Jack and Molly confess their feelings to each other and decide to take things slow while getting to know each other while they work at the camp for the next few months. What happens when Jack finds men taking samples illegally on the land next to the camp? Will Molly tell her mother about the bad things her stepfather has done? Can Molly and her brother repair their relationship with their mother? I really loved Jacked by Kate Gilead. Jacked is a sweet romance with a couple twists and turns. I really loved the extended epilogues that let the reader know what the future holds for Jack, Molly, and their family. I would definitely recommend getting Jacked by Kate Gilead. I received an ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the older man/ younger woman romance between Jack and Molly. Jack runs a lumber camp and Molly shows up claiming to be a new employee. Jack calls the head office and learns she is the step-daughter of his boss. Molly doesn't like her step-father and wants to use the money she will earn from the job to start over away from him with her brother. Jack and Molly have an instant connection and flirt back and forth. Jack makes his intentions known to the others in the camp that Molly is his and they begin a relationship. Jack and Molly go slow with things and get to know one another. When Jack discovers her step-father is up to no good, he contacts the authorities and they wait to see what will happen next. I liked this quick read. I loved the banter between Jack and Molly. I think Jack had an instant love for her and he knew she was going to be his. Good one.

Jack supervises a logging camp and is stunned when he sees Molly for the first time. Molly's step-father sent her to work at the camp to get rid of her. Not wanting to be associated with him Molly tells Jack that she isn't related to him so he'll fix the mistake with her name. Sparks fly between them from the moment they first spoke to each other. Things work out great between them. However Jack finds some people on the property illegally and records them to have a friend check them out. It turns out Molly's step-father is into something illegal and when Jack reports what's going on it brings cops down on her step-father. Will this trouble cause Jack to pull away from Molly?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

ONE HOT NUMBER!!!
OMG! This is one sweet read. I love Kate's style as she pulls this incredible page turning tale together perfectly. I was captivated from the start. It's one wild ride as everything falls into place with such realism it totally rocks this little gem. The characters are well developed and believable with personalities that blend and play off one another in such a smooth flowing rhythm. The scenes are graphic and so descriptive it paints a fantastic backdrop that really makes the storyline pop. All the twists and turns kept the suspense increasing as tension spirals. This little guy is such a joy to read it commands your full attention until the last word. Kate did an excellent job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Great job Kate, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us. -
Jacked is an Instalove romance.
Molly can't stand her mothers new man he is creepy and hateful, but she is stuck until she can earn enough money to take her younger brother and move back home. She ends up being sent off to work in the kitchen at the Lumber camp, coincidentally owned by her stepfather. When she meets Jack he knows nothing of her hiring but isn't upset about it. Molly went there to earn cash not fall in love. But it happens. The story is a little sketchy on some of the time lines. Also there are some environmental factors that pop up in the story. The drama is from the outside world their relationship is steady. The ending is a little twisted.

This is the first book that I have read from Kate Gilead, and what a great story that she wrote. The description of the mountains and valleys would make you think that you were standing there looking at it yourself.
This older man Jack has experienced a lot of pain in his life and disappointment, so when he meets this younger women Molly, something just clicks.
This story was a page turner and a delightful read.

Molly shows up to work at a summer lumber camp early to find out they are not expecting her. She meets the boss to find out she is indeed a late hire under suspicious circumstances but her big boss, Jack, seems to work everything out in her favor. Indeed, Jacked turns into a great love story as Jack arranges for the only female to stay in his cabin with him. They work hard, play hard, and get to know each other over the summer as well as fall into info that leads to trouble with the landowner, who happens to be Molly step father. Second book of this series; can't wait for the next!

This was a sweet story about Jack and Molly. Jack works for a logging company in the Canadian mountains. Molly gets a job through her step dad Claude working in the kitchen. Molly needs the money to make a home for her and her younger brother. She does not trust her step-dad and is wanting to get away from him. Jack did not know Molly was coming until she shows up looking to start her job. Their attraction is instant. However, things are not as they seem. Molly's stepdad is up to no good. This book will keep you reading until the very last page!

Jacked: Men on a Mission, Book 2, by author Kate Gilead was more of a novella with great characters and storyline which was an older man younger woman. The main characters, Molly and Jack were written well and given good chemistry. The supporting characters played well around them and lent much to the color and quality of the story. I really enjoyed the extended epilogue, especially the ending. . . It was an awww ending.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure.
I am leaving this review for your consideration. Peace. -
This is a wonderful older man, younger woman romance! I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major two characters, but the minor ones too. Also, it caused me to lose quite a bit of sleep while I was reading it, because it was so hard to put down at night.
What you need to know: this book contains no cheating, no cliff-hangers and a HEA.

Wow! This story was nothing like I expected. Full of information about the lumber industry and ways some want to abuse nature for selfish gains. The romance was sweet in the slowness of development but very satisfying. Interesting family dynamics in play and, though there’s a happy ending, not everything goes along smoothly.

A really sweet read! It is beautifully written with a well-developed plot that will grip you from beginning to end. It is relatable, engaging, consistent, and moves at a brisk pace with some ups and downs and family drama. The characters are likeable, the attraction is instant, and the chemistry is intense and off the charts. A very enjoyable read. It may be cliched, but I loved the older man/younger woman instant attraction in this story! The love story builds up slowly and there is some corporate intrigue thrown in that makes the story that much more interesting. Great characters, great story line, it's totally worth clicking on now!

It’s a sweet insta- love kinda romance. I enjoyed the storyline. I did feel at times I got a little lost. But it didn’t take away from the warm tingly feeling you get when Jack and Molly are together!
