Arabella's story was long waited for me as I loved her character from Arranged Marriage.
She felt like such a light-hearted and cheerful character however I had a feeling there was so much depth and complexity to her personality. And oh boy I was right! Bella is a wounded soul seeking comfort and release. She searches a relief from the bindings of the mafia. Being woman and belonging to mafia families is not a easy way to live. Unfortunately, the family fathers looked at their daughters as belongings who they sell off to prominent families to gain more support. Arabella was no exception. She earned a title of "cursed widow" as all her husband died shortly after they got married to her. So what happens now? Doesn't she deserve happiness for herself?
Enter Carmelo, my favorite boy. This gentle soul captures the flattering and wounded soul of our Bella and caresses all her rough edges. ~Carmelo is a wonderful character you need to see for yourself. Those who read Arranged Marriage might remember him from there. He is even better in this book. Honestly I was swooning to the fact that this man can play violin!!! That is so sensual <3
I really loved Forbidden Love and am looking forward to Rocco's and Angelo's books!!
