Well yet again we have new characters and new beings. The veritas really need to be taken care off now. Can you imagine who and what they have at their disposal. Poor Tammy and I think we have lost her for good now. Its amazing that we are so far in the series but there are still new things being introduced which is keeping it interesting.

The Veritas(The Guardians Series 2)
This book follows Sam and Scarlett until they are captured and taken back to heaven and separated. Sam is imprisoned by his father in a house arrest type of situation. Scarlett, on the other hand, is imprisoned in Lucifer's cell and tortured. Eventually, Scarlett's friends help her escape to Olivia the Guardian and the story follows their adventures from there forward. Near the end Sam is apparently on the point of escaping. The next volume might see them joined back together. -
I loved this book, my biggest issue is that I have to wait months for the next book in the series.
In this book we start back with Scarlett and Sam being back in Heaven. Sam is knocking on deaths door still and Scarlett has sacrificed her life to get him back to his father and his healers.
Outside of Heaven with are back with Olivia, Theo and gang back in Mercy and it is looking like the Veritas is back at work. -
Oh man!
Dang it, the book was too short! 😞 Try as I might, I still read this book too fast. As great as the first series, and as great as the first book of this second series!! Can't wait for the third book to come out. I'm hoping that it will be a little longer than this one.😁 Giving this book three thumbs up!👍👍👍 -
Hanging on the edge of my seat!
The cliffhangers are are maddening....but the reward for waiting is SO WORTH IT!!! Can’t wait for the next installment to see where this story with all its amazing twists and turns lead! -
I’m glad the new characters started to get with the original characters, but this second series seems so much more complicated than the first. I really worry about these characters making it through.

Fantastic instalment to the Guardian series. Looking forward to reading the next book and seeing the continued character development-particularly of Tammy/Temperance.
