Spider-Man, Spider-Man. Love Myself Some Spider-Man 🎶
In the opening there’s this crazy guy rambling on about danger is coming for Spider-Man and all the other superheroes.
Find out later that he’s in prison. More later than that, while he’s enjoying his prison meal, minding his business, he’s approached by the “prison bullies.”
Words are exchanged, threats are made, fighting starts and the guards just stand around watching. At least they’re not in the way.
So, after all that violence, the story picks up with my Spider-Man and ANOTHER Spider-Man. Don’t remember him when I was a girl.
Well anyway, they argue over pizza, fight with a villain, argue about pizza and go eat some pizza.
Spider-Man, Spider-Man…
Four stars for Spider-Man. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -
Eddie Brock, Shocker, 2 Spiderman y la mejor pizza de Nueva York. Divertido.
Eddie Brock, Shocker, 2 Spiderman and the best pizza in New York. Funny. -
Graphics - 3.50
Story - 4.25 -
Oh boy - watch out Spidey - Carnage is coming for you!
-
Funny with quite some action.
Spiderman is someone I always like to read, watch, or listen about. It's always like that. This shorty if funny as well as having action, but if this could have more in it like 40-50 pages, must have more enjoyable.
Additionally Pizza part is fascinating & drooling. Haha..
Nicely designed. Graphics are good and leave an impression. In good way, obviously. -
Great introductions
Great start to the Absoulte Carnage storyline. Good nice short story either great artwork. Definitely 5 stars.
The "Spider-mans" have an argument to settle, could a villan be far behind? Nice story feel hood story. 4.5 stars. -
This comic book has two stories. One of them has Venom in prison. The other has Peter and Miles fighting over the best pizza.
Eddie Brock is in Ryker's Island Penitentiary when he is attacked by Lee. Eddie fights back and shows that he is Carnage. He decides who to go after.
Peter Parker and Miles Morales are fighting over who has the best pizza in New York. They are interrupted by Shocker who they capture. Shocker tells him what his favorite pizza is. Peter and Miles decide that both of their pizzas taste good because they both taste like home.
The Symbiotes always freak me out. Hope they're able to stop Carnage. Nice to see Peter and Miles. Glad they solved the pizza debate. 🍕 -
THIS WAS SO COOL AND GOOD LIKE WOWWWWEEE 4.5
I would totally look into reading this carnage arc because holy shit it's so good
the art, my LORDT -
3/5 Stars (%58/100)
Fun and short comic for a quick read. -
In FCBD 2019 we get 2 stories
1) Venom #1, Eddie Brock (Venom) is imprisoned at Ryker's and finds another symbiote and escapes, what's his first move ....
Fast moving, short story sets up the battle to come, nice coloring and great art
2) Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man & Miles Morales Spider-man in "Friendly Neighborhood Rivalry" finds the 2 Spider-men battling to decide who knows where the best pizza in New York is ...
cute short story with some great images and excellent art work -
This issue contains two stories- one about Venom and his reemergence, and the second one is a light hearted romp between original Spider-Man Peter and the younger Miles. The first story is very dark and violent, so I found it interesting that they paired it with the next story that was all about the two Spideys arguing over pizza and could be read by a younger demographic than the first story. (3.5/5)

PANT'S !
Advert for pizza ... -
Not Long enough for me
I enjoyed the art. But not enough development in the story for me to be satisfied . If they really dropping one of these every year that's a huge waste of money. -
The Venom symbiote and Eddie Brock have a very mangled and complicated canon now. Seeing Eddie Brock as Carnage made me mentally throw up a little. I hope this event cleans up symbiote canon so we're not having all these symbiote events consistently and you don't need a flow chart to understand what's happening at any given time.
The Miles/Peter story was definitely better and felt more organically 'Spider-Man'. One of my favorite villains, the Shocker, showed up, but he wasn't played off for laughs like he's sometimes made to do. He got to be the "main" antagonist, or what passes for one in a light-hearted one-shot. The art was also more clean and readable in the second story. -
One of the new issues I got for Free Comic Book day. Now this is one preview that actually looked good. And I LOVED the story about Miles and Peter facing off to see which New York borough had the best original style Pizza. Truly original and tremendously entertaining.

Now, this was an awesome quick read. Two little stories one about Venom and then another about Peter and Miles fighting about the best pizza in NY. It was nice and both continued in their respective series.
I have always loved comics, and I hope always to love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just
Keep on Reading. -
Nice setup! I like it and am excited for what's coming with the Absolute Carnage event! It gets you going for sure and I can't wait for Knull to arrive too.

Pizza
I am not a Spider-man fan, but this story was ok. The grafics were fantastic, though, and I liked the pizza part. -
Two comics in one. Much like a lot of the comics I got for Free comic book day 2019 I’m in love with the ART STYLE. The first bit is about Carnage to whom I always forget how much I love this villian and know very little of his history to be honest. So this defs makes me excited about diving into these comics when I get there.
The second comic about the best pizza made me hungry, gave me so many feelings after having seen ‘Into the Spiderverse’. So it gave me a chuckle. -
Carnage gets an upgrade. Pizzas of NYC.
-
Nice comic book
Short and simple as the story here is quite easy to understand for any kind of reader from any part of globe -
66/100
-
Muy bueno, pero.
Excelente ambas historias pero muy cortas, es recomendable verla en iPad o iPhone, en dispositivos Kindle se pierden los colores. -
Short work about pizza w/a good (but cliché) message about home
-
Better than expected, was giggling at work.

Free Spider-Man
Two short stories that were given out on the last free comic book day. The first tells how Eddie Brock regains a symbiote. The second has Peter Parker and Miles Morales face off... over the best pizza. They take a break to stop the Shocker.
The first story via just a set up for an upcoming story line and nothing special. The second story is fun and shows the more human side of the heroes. -
This book was more of a pallet cleanser between books of serious discussion. I needed something with a bit more fantasy and an escape. What I found was something different than my expectations.
For starters this book is incredibly short, so it makes sense that it would be a free book. Although despite its length I recommend it for a quick read if you are a fan of Spider-Man. I also suggest you eat before reading this book because I had a craving for something cheesy afterwards.
