Some great banter here. Will read more.

2nd time reading it. I love Teresa Southwick's "Maverick Holiday Magic (Montana Mavericks: Six Brides for Six Brothers Book 2725) Kindle Edition." It is a continuation of the series, which I highly recommend, but if you were to pick up this story and read it you would not get lost in what is going on. This is Hunter Crawford's story. He is a widower with a little girl named Wren, who reminds me of a bird because she is just a sweet little girl. He hires Merry Matthews to be a live-in Nanny who needs a place to live, but she also loves being around children. She brings joy back into their lives, but Hunter who lost his first wife because of complications after giving birth is leery about putting his heart on the line again.

"Hunter gave her a thankful look, then rested the ax handle on his shoulder with one hand. He grabbed the trunk of the fallen tree with the other and dragged it back to the truck". This is from page 158, and if it did not grab your attention then I don't what will, when I read this I could picture it so clearly in my head! This book was so good, so enjoyable, it is one of those books that plays like a movie in your head because you can picture everything that is happening. I was very sad when it ended and can not wait to read the next one in the series!

I have normally liked most of these maverick books. I thought the chemistry between the 2 adult was pretty good but Wern was what made it all come together.
