  This is one of those the-stableboy-makes-his-fortune-and-comes-back-for-revenge stories.
  
  The novel is bare bones. The hero shows up after 7 years, the H/h exchange a few words, they shag, and then they exchange ILYs. The time period covers about a week.
  
  I am rather sick of these Harlequin heroines who are inarticulate, dumb, ignorant, passive, & lacking in career goals but yet, end up on their feet due to their looks and whoremones (tm: Verity.) Since most of the book is told from the heroine's POV, I found the story a trying bore as I wasn't too sympathetic to her thoughts or actions. I especially groaned when she kept on referring to the hero as "the Black Angel" as if she was 15 instead of 25.
  
  The hero was standard issue Harlequin and didnt have much of a personality.

  Angelos Rousakis was denied the one thing he truly wanted, Jessica Marshall. Jessica was born to wealth and a privileged life while Angelos had to work for every nickle he had. Seven years later, he is back and Jessica still feels the sting of his rejection. The tables have turned for Angelos who now has everything Jessica holds dear to his heart in his hands, except for Jessica but he has a plan on how to obtain that as well.
  
  I was disappointed in this one, Jessica who loses everything she has ends up hostile and shrilling her disdain for Angelos. Angelos is cold and out to seek his revenge on Jessica Whatever the case you don't get that they even like each other at the end and than they are in love, not sure what happened but I think there was something missing in the story.

  Jessica es una joven que fue malcriada por su padrastro el que le dio todo en la vida,al este fallecer en medio del dolor por su perdida Jessica se sorprende al ver a Angelos el cual no había visto hace 7 años y lo mas sorprendente es que su reencuentro se lleva a cabo en su casa en medio del funeral de su padrastro.
  
  Ella no sabe que Angelos hacia allí,porque hacia tanto tiempo el era el mozo de cuadra de la casa de su padrastro y el flechazo de ella hacia el fue tan grande que como loquera de juventud hizo lo imposible por seducirlo,El la rechazo y desde entonces ella trato de reconstruir su vida.De hecho estaba hasta comprometida para casarse,pero Angelos tenia otros planes y tenia un As bajo la manga que lo hizo ser el dueño absoluto de los bienes que se supone que por ley los heredara Jessica.Lo que Jessica no sabe es el secreto que la autora nos revela desde casi el comienzo de la historia.Claro pero para dejar en suspenso ella no lo conoce solo casi hasta el final.
  
  Al Jessica quedarse sin nada,Angelos le ofrece un trabajo respetable.Muy parecido al cargo que ocuparía al ser la heredera y dueña...pero el cargo iba con el bono de que tenia que ser la amante de Angelos al esta negarse,no le queda otra que tener que ser la nueva moza de cuadra,ya que al romperse su compromiso no tenia otro lugar donde marcharse.
  
  Bien como dice el titulo,la historia es de mucha pasión,de hecho una de las mas apasionadas que he leído.La atracción y reacción física de los protagonistas es intensa,demaciado intensa.Pero Angelos sigue con su plan de venganza y eso lo aleja de Jessica.Claro que la atracción es tan poderosa que sus cuerpos se atraen como un imán.La ambientacion es la misma,la casa que según Jessica,Angelos le arrebato,claro porque no sabe que ella le arrebato mas que eso a el.Y la historia se centra mas en Jessica y Angelos que en los pocos personajes secundarios que hay.
  
  Muy apasionada,sin llegar a los excesos.El personaje de Angelo es parecido a todos los griegos de estas historia.Algún día me gustaría llegar a conocer a un griego a ver si son tan apasionados y con tanto carácter como los describen en estas historias Harlequin.Pero mientras tanto no me queda otra que fantasear por medio de la lectura.
  
  Pasión o venganza? Un libro para pasar un rato agradable y mas si como a mi,te gustan los griegos implacables.Esta historia te va a encantar.

  This was an ok book. I started it, but I couldn't really get into it. The characters were annoying and aggravating to me. Good for passing time, but I kinda had to make myself finish this one. (I don't like not finishing a book) Written well, just not my cup of java. Good luck

When she was younger, Jessica threw herself at Angelos and was caught by her stepfather. In his anger, Marty dismissed Angelos which left in its wake, bitterness for the proud Greek. Now he has returned to Manor House to stake his claim, attend the funeral of the father he had never known, the father Jessica stole from him!
  
  What’s not to love about this handsome, strong and proud alpha? He’s charming, gorgeous, a self made billionaire with an axe to grind. But will he take out his revenge on Jessica? You’re just going to have to read this wonderful love story yourself and discovery its mysteries. It’s passionate and moving as only Kate Walker can pen. It’s a story about second chances, with its final chapters set in a lovely Greek setting as well as Manor House in England.
  
  What I loved most about the book is both Jessica’s and Angelos realization about their past mistakes and how learn from them. Jessica comes to terms with how she hurt Angelos and for him, the realization that he had always loved her….and she was truly his “soul” It’s about coming home, finding out what’s important and certainly NOT revenge!

  I found he book really cheesy and it didn't seem very sincere to me. I expected more from the hero but he was rude right up until the end. The heroine I felt a bit of an emotional connection with, so she didn't bother me too much.
