  Just when Del thinks things can’t get worse, they most definitely do.
  
  I LOVE this series! I love the way the author incorporated magic, history, and action into the story. This is definitely a page turner and will have you up all night because you can’t put it down. Del is tough and kicks butt. She doesn’t give up and I love that about her. From the story to the characters, this entertaining story will leave you wanting more. I highly recommend this series. I give this 5 stars!

  Awesome! Absolutely awesome read! Adventure . Betrayal, Hidden Truths, Surprises galore, Suspense and so much more! Hiding out in a loft apartment, Lars, Nicholas and Adeline know that their heads are wanted by the Magistrate and Winslow for a crime they didn't do. Finding out about the past of Grim and Vincent and tracking down and old friend of theirs, Margaret, hoping to find answers. But all they found was trouble from the Magistrate. What to do? What to do?
  Nicholas is betrayed and Lars and Adeline have to break into the campus to rescue him. All went well until they had to go down a sewer pipe and out into the river. At this point they are joined by another and Lars is the one who brought her in.
  Best plan forward is to not get caught and to end all this for once and all, but the Goddess has other plans for Adeline and caught is just what she wanted. Why? Well they did find some shaky going on's and Adeline is the key to it all.
  You are left with your mouth hanging open and a ton of questions on what the heck is going on? You are left wanting the next book right now!

  Oh I really enjoyed this. Adeline and friends can barely catch their breath before facing their next challenge. I am really rooting for Nicholas and Del but who knows how their paths will go. I'm looking forward to the next in the series

  This is a re-release, I read this originally in 2019 under the title of "'Ink It Over: A Touch Of Ink Novel". I don't know what's up with the re-release, I didn't see mention of it anywhere, but I didn't appreciate it, as I had picked it up on KindleUnlimited, thinking it was a new book to read, but at least I wasn't out any money -unfortunately for anyone else who didn't get it with KindleUnlimited...Here's my original review from 2019...

  I liked the book enough that I would have continued on to book 2 -if it was available yet. The plot was unique, or at least it was for me. There were a few places that didn't flow well, and a few places that didn't work or needed more info. The main characters (Adeline & Nicholas) were entertaining, if nothing else. I felt they weren't developed quite enough to really be memorable. The secondary character, Lars was way more memorable for me. I would have read book 2 right away, but seeing as it's not out...I'm not sure if I'll remember to watch for it when it does, since I didn't see anything saying when it would come out.

Better Ink Twice is a paranormal urban fantasy roller coaster ride of action and misadventure. Rachel Rawlings delves further into her witchy world of intrigue and creates a wonderfully exciting ride for the reader to take and I can’t wait for the next one.

  I wanted so badly to love this. To finish it and be able to talk about it. It is with great regret, I inform you that I failed. Rachel does a great job weaving this world and these characters to bring your imagination to life, but this book failed in editing. When the name of one of the characters changes every other page (and the same issue happened in the previous book), you find yourself at a loss, because you just can’t get into a story when you are trying to remember who the key players are and what character they were actually referring to.

  Adeline is on the run from the Magistrate with her best friend and the new ally that she really doesn't trust yet but knows there is something between them . Lars is her best friend and Nicholas is the one she really can't trust yet but Adeline knows that they were meant to be together . When a dead body turns up Adeline is pushed to the top of the wanted list. Can she figure out why Nicholas and her life is entwined and she needs to figure out and unravel the curse.
  Now I must say that Adeline , Lars and even Nicholas are growing on me . Adeline you just want her to win so badly . She is one feisty girl who is more then meets the eye . She is tough but also so sweet sometimes you want to wrap her up and hug her . Other times you want her as your best friend and fighting on your side. Lars well he is like your big brother , he knows you and wants what is best for you but sometime he goes about it the wrong way . He is also a big pain in the behind when he thinks he is right but proven wrong . Non Nicholas he is the wild card , there is more to him but do we really want to know what he can become . You don't know if you should trust him or not They are becoming more complex in the second book .
  
  This is a relatively fast read and i read it in an evening . The story starts right where the first book ended and picks up rather fast . The characters are well written and I really like where the author is taking them . I was on the edge of my seat for most of the story . I love this authors writing but there were just a few problems in this book that would be worked out with a good editor . I also felt that there were a couple of areas in the book that just kind of dragged and could of been tightened up a bit . Over all i truly enjoyed this book and can't wait to see what happens to these characters . So if you want a snarky sassy heroine and two hot sexy warlocks this is the book for you , Check them out loved it
