The storyline was completely unbelievable, the characters did not respond normally, and the majority of the book was narrated.

One dimensional characters
The tone and language is just off putting. All sounds so plastic and childish. A man of his stature would be a lot more mature...and please stop writing African American women as if they are lost little white girls. Please. -
This was good. This is the first book that I read by Tyra Clark. I knew from the onset that his "advisor" to him and in the past to his father, that the so-called advisor had something to do with Maia's disappearance. The man (the advisor) was straight up evil and had ambitions to be a Sheikh himself! I am glad that it was revealed before Maia could be missing the second time! It is also sad that Maia will never be able to recover her past memories. Khalid is a smart man and was going to be the alpha as well as the Sheikh. I am glad that they got their HEA.

I feel like it was too short like they were thing the writer could have done better for example the conflict was... the whole story was just flat.
