A COP’S SECOND CHANCE by Sharon Hartley
Starting over, forgiveness, second chances and revenge all play a part in this gritty story centered around a Miami church center where people work to deter gang recruitment by offering young people alternative choices.
Sharon Hartley does a remarkable job exposing the emotional toll of violence, her characters, undercover cop Sean and reformed ,social worker, Aleta ‘s lives have both been impacted by gang activity and/or family betrayal. They both have trouble moving forward. Forgiveness and acceptance are hard goals for them to attain. Together they find the love they need to find happiness.
This is my first book by Ms. Hartley. I look forward to reading more of her work.
