He's vice. She's nice. Watch out, Seattle!

It seemed easy enough. Hit the local all-male strip club, pick a likely target and hire him for her best friend’s bachelorette party. But the stripper who catches Caroline’s eye has a different agenda. He’s an undercover cop, and Caroline ends up under arrest—for solicitation!

Tony DiMarco realizes too late that he’s made a mistake. Caroline’s reputation and business are suffering, and he feels responsible. He feels something else too—the pull of red-hot desire. He wants Caroline, but she’s afraid that he’s just trying to make up for his mistake. Can this determined vice cop teach her to trust him?

THIS BOOK HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED. It has been lightly edited and revised.

WARNING: This book contains people taking their clothes off. Which is kind of the point, right?

I love when couples meet under unusual circumstances but that instant heat is evident. In Strip Tease Caroline Richards meets Tony DiMarco when he mistakenly arrests her for solicitation. Not the most auspicious start to a relationship but as Tony mentions, if he hadn’t done it they would have never met. Even though Caroline is attracted, Tony’s mistake is ruining her business.

I enjoyed how easy these two characters fit together despite their very different backgrounds. For a novella, the characters were well developed something that rarely happens in a book this size. Although Caroline is prickly, I love that Tony doesn’t give up on his pursuit and their first date…brilliant!

While I understand Caroline’s reservations for getting involved with Tony, his gesture to prove differently was fantastic and truly eye opening. Yes, this relationship progressed in the blink of an eye but sometimes it just feels right and it was easy to see these two belonged together.

An entertaining and sexy story Strip Tease will keep you engaged and prove that sometimes you meet the right one when you least expect it.

Strip Tease by Kate Davies is actually kind of funny! The book begins with Caroline in a run down strip club all alone looking for the perfect stripper for her best friend's bachelorette party. At the wrong place at the wrong time, she is arrested for solicitation. But the dreamy cop soon realizes his mistake and from there I won't ruin the rest of the story! Caroline and McDreamy Cop Tony obviously become friends as well as lovers, but the story is comical and easy to like.

Liked the trilogy of books (all short stories) in this series, but they were WAY too short. I would have really liked to get to know more about each couple.
