Little Boy Named Avram (Little Greats) Reviews

Interested in introducing a Jewish child to the foundational character of the Jewish people, and some foundational ideas about G-d and the world? This is a good book for that! Avram (later Abraham) is portrayed as a young boy who goes out "to look for Hashem." (G-d) Eventually he decides that Hashem is the one true Creator, who creates everything he has seen. Cute, beautifully colored illustrations. A good book to share with a young Jewish child or as part of multiple-religion appreciation in an early childhood Sunday school. (I'm not rating it because for this purposes it's a 5, but for us it was only a 3 in terms of repetition and enjoyment.) Would also work as an early reader.
