Blake Martin is my dad’s best friend. He’s mouthwateringly gorgeous with strong hands rough from working construction; thick tree trunk thighs; and most of all, a smile that makes my heart flutter.

My high school boyfriend Nicky is missing something. I’m not sure what it is: enthusiasm, maybe? He never seems excited to get together, and one day at my house, our encounter goes completely haywire...

… when my dad’s best friend Blake bursts in! He sees what Nicky and I are doing and goes absolutely ballistic!

I protest. I tell Blake that I’m just trying to learn what other girls my age already know and Nicky was attempting to show me the mechanics. But my dad’s best friend takes one look at my puny boyfriend and literally growls.

I don’t need a boy to show me the ropes …

… I need a man.

But can we make this work, when the hardened, gorgeous Blake is my dad’s closest friend?

Get hot. Get wild. Get ready for insta-love that’s fantastically unrealistic because it happens at light speed! Let yourself enjoy a steamy tale of a girl being taught by a growly, delicious alpha male who also happens to be her dad’s buddy. Reader beware. Not responsible for Kindles that short circuit.

As with all my books, this one is safe, with no cheating, and a HEA guaranteed.

    Ok

    2.5 Stars

This wasn’t a half bad book but there were a few issues that I had with it. First off the H used the “R” word. I really hate that word and hate when it is used in any form. Second there were some inconsistencies. Blake says its been two years since he had been with a woman and at another point it was six month. Inconsistencies drive me crazy. There was an intimate scene with Morgan and her boyfriend Nicky, she is trying to go down on him. Blake walks in an throws him out and the two proceed to have sex. To top it all off she is a virgin. That is a lot to happen to an 18 year old in a short amount of time. She didn’t think twice about Nicky and instead was focused 100% on Blake. I just think she would have had a lot more to process through then she did. It just didn’t feel right to be giving head to one guy and five minutes later doing another. That’s not my cup of tea. Otherwise it wasn’t a bad story. Blake wasn’t a bad boy. He was a good, hardworking man who owned his own business. Blake and Morgan got along great together, they had fun together inside and outside the bedroom. They were a cute couple.

    Safety and Spoilers
Intimate scene with h and her boyfriend. H’s celibacy is either two years or six months, h is a virgin. H isn’t a manwhore. Mild family drama, things go pretty smoothly for the couple. No abuse.

This is a fun gap age with a true love story with it. The characters are real and complex. The secondary characters are also interesting. Free on Amazon at the time.

If you're into forbidden & age gap love. Then this is the book. It does have some inconsistencies.
Like the last time, Blake was sexually active. Morgan had attempted to lose her virginity with her boyfriend Nicky twice. Nothing happened. I have to admit that they didn't make Nicky a real catch. He was weak, rude & only out to use Morgan. For example, he said he was taking her out to eat, then makes her pay. He is a typical immature high schoolboy.
Then Blake walks in-hot, sexy & all alpha man. Of course, Morgan wants to learn the ways of the world sexual from him. Who wouldn't?

The story shows Morgan's innocence in many ways based on her age. However, she is also very mature considering she has pretty much have had to be responsible for herself for over four years. Since her father is constantly at the hospoital. He seems to be married to his job.

Morgan's innocence is lost, Age is not important over compatibility, chemistry & a burning love & mutual support for one another.
Blake didn't realize how his life really had no meaning. He had his career, his best friend & occasional ladies. But he was never in love. Not until he decides to tutor his best friend's daughter about the birds & the bees. Morgan shows him how to be happy, & having someone in your life is what true happiness is.
He was only supposed to teach Morgan how to be a woman of the world before heading for college. Turns into an ache burning in both Blake & missing a portion of their hearts. How can he continue this relationship without shame & guilt. He could lose his Best Friend Roger. Morgan can lose the already fragile relationship with her dad.
Read & find out what happens to Blake & Morgan, & if they can live without each other?

Good Read, hot intimacy, a few inconsistency, & I am not thrilled that they don't discuss more using protection.

    Enjoyed it.

This is my first book by this author. Blake is best friend’s with Morgan’s Dad (Roger). She’s got a huge crush on him and he finds he can’t resist her. But will her Dad understand? They do get a happy ever after.

  • Romance All the Way

Pretty good story, I just wish there weren't so many misunderstandings at the end.
And I wish the epilogue was further in the future.

Recommended if you like age-gap romances.

    The couple: Blake and Morgan

Romance genre: Dad's best friend; age gap

Plot: Morgan is a virgin, and is thinking about finally having sex with her boyfriend, Nicky. Nicky definitely isn't a catch, but she thinks she needs to go through with it. On the night when she's bout to, Blake, her dad's best friend shows up and throws Nicky out. That fortuitous, because Morgan has (and has always had) a huge crush on Blake. They start a relationship, but there are plenty of obstacles!

Character development: The H uses the word "retard(ed)" twice, which is unnecessary even once.
Morgan is a virgin and goes from 0 to 60 pretty quickly, but that's par for the course in an S.E. Law story.

Part of a series: Yes (Naughty Relations)

Would I read more from this author/in this series: Yes

Morgan is innocent and inexperienced. Her boyfriend doesn't seem interested in being with her sexually so she takes matters into her own hands. She meets up with her boyfriend and tells him that she is ready to be with him. However once they are alone at her home is still doesn't seem interested when she is naked and makes nasty comments when she tries to do things to him. Blake is best friends with her father and is stopping by with food and to check on her when he walks in on them. Her boyfriend grabs his close and takes off and leaves her. Sparks fly between her and Blake and before he even thinks about what he is doing he takes her to her room and they have sex. He immediately feels guilty because he betrayed her father and leaves. Morgan isn't about to let that be the end of it and tracks him down to talk to him. But things get heated between them again. What will her father do when he learns about them? Can they be together with the age difference?

This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

    ONE WILD ROLLERCOASTER RIDE!!!
One sizzling adventure! A captivating bad boy from start to finish. You experience it all, the uncertainty, heartache, gut wretching, pulse racing, page turning bomb that keeps you riveted and draws you in. Emotions, personalities, attitudes and dynamics are 100% spot on for realism. I felt like I was dropped right in the middle of the excitement and wanted to make a stand with the main characters. Yeah, that didn't go well. Pushing through all the trials and tribulations along with such drama, intrigue and electrifying chemistry, fusing the intense passion that blows this flaming spin wide open. One thrilling, blazing storyline and thrilling plot keeps churning with a slew of twists and turns you're not sure which way is up. The characters and their personalities are authentic, tangible and relatable. The scenes are graphically detailed with colorful descriptions, insight and understanding that flows smoothly from each scenario without a hitch. Fantastic job Law, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

Yes, I know this book is what they would call a trashy romance but I still liked it. The blurb made me want to read it. Lol it was so obvious that her boyfriend Nicky was gay. I'm surprised he didn't realize it himself sooner. I thought he was just using her to cover up since he pretended that he was having sex with her that day those high school boys went by. I knew he was gay then. Also, Blake kept on going on and on about how intelligent she was, so it was surprising that she never once thought her boyfriend was gay...
I'm honestly surprised she didn't get pregnant sooner considering they didn't use protection (smarttt 45-year old man), unless the epilogue was a few months later. I wish it said the number of months later.
Also, the author should have made him 40 or something. Men aren't as attractive at 45. And if just five years, he won't be so hot either.
Oh, and too many people were named Ricky or Nicky in this book. It was too confusing. The construction work named Ricky...

    No creativity

So I've read a few books by this author and she seems un creative and writes like a teenager. All her characters have the same name. After 4 or 5 books every ones last name is jones. The best friends name in multiple books is Jane but there is no connection to another character outside this book named Jane as there is no connection between everyone having Jones as a last name. However reading this author is like watching a train wreck serious on tv. You kinda get sucked in hoping it gets better. After 4 or 5 books it hasn't. The writing or story telling is just as awful as the first. And the editing sucks.

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. This was a steamy read of younger woman/ older man book. Morgan had always had a thing for her "Uncle " Blake. Never dreaming fantasy would become reality. Blake had came over to check on his best friends daughter when catching her with a young man pushes him to far. Mistakes was made but when Blake runs can Morgan convince him that it was a mistake but something more? Can Blake take a chance with his best friends daughter? Loved this book it was a must read.

Oooo a naughty naughty book. But it will set your sheets on fire if your not careful lol. Just about every little girl going from teenager to adult probably had this dream. Some or real and some are fake. This one is more of a realist ones that I've read. Wasn't disappointed at all in the book. Loved it.
Morgan wants to be a woman who knows what's she wants. And have a knowledge that most girls fumble through in college years...that's if there not like her friend Carmen. Then the unthinkable happens when her daddy's best friend Blake pops in on a visit to checkup on her.

    Cute story..some typos

This book was decent but I gave it 4 stars because I really liked Blake. Morgan's personality was a little wishy washy so it was an effort to really like her. And half the time the boyfriend was written as Ricky instead of his actual name of Nicky. It was also a little weird that Morgan referred to her dad as Roger instead of dad. It was only weird because supposedly they were really close since it had only been the two of them most of her life.

  • Misty Goan

A fantastic well written entertaining older father's best friend romance.  This intriguing storyline has drama, trials and tribulations, twists and turns, and passion in scenes that are perfectly detailed with colorful descriptions and insight flowing smoothly page after page. The characters are authentic, relatable, and have a electrifying passioniate connection. I was captivated page after page. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.

This is the 2nd book in this series. Morgan is young and inexperienced, and when Blake who is her dad’s best friend stops at her house with supplies, he catches Morgan and her boyfriend in a compromising situation. When Blake and Morgan end up having sex, he disappears as he feels guilty. What will Morgan’s dad do when he finds out? This is a good story which is steamy and with explosive chemistry, and I recommend for all lovers of an older man / younger woman scenario.

  • Debra Floyd

Blake and Morgan’s story took me by surprise. Some scenes were quite erotic the story of love comes out.

Morgan is half his age and his best friends daughter. When he caught her in a compromising position neither of them thought it would lead where it did.

Can their live survive her at college and her father? A must read to find out!,

  • Ashlee

    Adorable

I really liked this story. Through all the issues their relationship may face, Blake realized he loves Morgan and will do anything to make it work!! I wish the story was longer, and there were a few minor spelling errors in the book, but overall this was a cute story to read!!
