Energy Transmutation, Between-Ness and Transmission Reviews
-
my uncle who is very much into researching the occult, annunaki, the negative alien agenda and history gave me this, photocopied and spiralized. it took me a while to finally get to it because i am a forgetful space cadet, but i finally sat down to read it among the 10+ books i'm already reading...
i think this is a great little short read for anyone on some kind of spiritual path, or who has gotten disillusioned with the modern world in some way, shape or form. with how messed up this world we live in is, usually those two things are one and the same... really really good primer.
i don't agree with every single thing richard rose sets forth, but i can see from his writings that he is well read and knows what he is talking about. i'm not a huge fan of zen artificially creating the setting to induce tension for samadhi/satori/enlightenment, like i'm not a fan of anyone going on some kind of a "hunt" for enlightenment. i get it, but i don't like it. i too hunt for things to help me reach deeper states of trance and such, but i don't see that as the same thing. appreciating nature and interacting with her and the many plant spirits is something i am passionate about, but artificially trying to create a setting for enlightenment feels weird to me. it feels like the ego. i'm just kinda partying with my friends. a little indulgent, but i like taking the middle path. getting dionysian at night with my plant spirit bros is very human, but beating yourself to reach enlightenment is honestly fucking weird to me.
that being said, i agree with a great many things rose sets forth in this. i am a huge proponent for celibacy and the way he describes how energy works is exactly how i've seen it play out etherically. as a lightworker, i also know very well that somatic energy received from food is a coarser form of energy which requires much work for the body to convert into neural energy. i've felt it happen inside of me. too much energy work and not enough production of neural energy through higher energy sources puts a massive strain on the body. this is what occult writer josephine mccarthy thinks contributed to dion fortune's relatively early death at age 55.
i can't say i learned anything new from this book honestly - my own shamanic journeying has led me to reach many of the same conclusions rose has come to. but, i really enjoy rose's writing style. i wish all normies read this book with an open mind, because he does set things nice and simply.
quotes i like -
"a thousand hours of argument is not as convincing as the gentle touch of a girl when we are passionate, nor as conclusive as the blow of a mace on our heads by the police when we are dissident. there is a lot of philosophy in a policeman's mace."
"only those who believe there is a path will ever find one. only those with faith will find despair. and those who despair may come closer to truth."
"...it never occurred to me that the human layman (unenlightened) was not much better off than the animal. it does not matter how intricately organized or specialized the bodies are if the entity itself does not know what it is."
this one rings really true to me, knowing how human dna got unplugged at stonehenge. we are in one of the most amazing machines, but nobody on earth has the manual or even knows where it went. we're literally all just floundering around, trying to figure it out...
"man belabors himself to learn to talk, to develop an alphabet, and then to confuse himself with the Babel of word-meanings and meaninglessness. the animal simply feels, exudes its feelings and its sensitive fellow animals pick it up."
and that notion leads me to this quote. talking, writing, this is all archaic. i believe at one point, humans were all able to communicate freely and easily as the animals do. psychically. man is primitive.
either way, really like this one. not an end all be all for me or anything, but one i will recommend as a nice, succint primer for those wanting to get into this realm. -
This is the most meaningful book I read on the spiritual path. I was profoundly effected by it.
