Tales of Girls Who Tech and Tinker (Brave New Girls, #5) Reviews

I will start out by saying that I bought this book because my friend has a story in it. It's called "The Robotics Badge" and it's great. Read it.
The common thread between the stories in this anthology is that they feature teenage girls involved in a tech discipline. There are a wide variety of settings including a 19th-century spy caper, a Mad Max-style drag race, a sci-fi Wizard of Oz retelling, and a teenage girl presenting her scientific findings to NASA. The stories vary in quality from "so bad that I'm actually mad that I read it" to "so good that I teared up at the end" so I averaged it for a 3-star rating.

Loved this book. I really look forward to sharing it with my kids when they're a bit older.
My favourite story was probably "The Robotics Badge" by Margaret A. Hanson. Imaginative and entertaining! -
It's a bit of a cheat since I wrote "Ines of Carter Station". But hey... great anthology for a good cause!
