  I have read this book three times now and I’m still not sure exactly how to review it. When the opportunity came about at the end of December to be part of a group of women who were going to Choose Joy for 2021, I had no idea what I was signing up for. I bought this book completely missing the part of the title that says “Women’s Devotional”. It wasn’t until it arrived from Amazon and I almost sent it back for a refund.
  
  I am not a religious person. I don’t go to church. I have never owned a Bible except for one that I may have taken from a motel. Anytime someone has ever shared anything religious with me, I glaze over it with a half-hearted Thanks. But like most people 2020 rocked my world and by the end of the year I felt like something was missing. So I committed to Choose Joy for 30 days.
  
  Little did I know that I would spend the better part of January in tears daily by something that spoke to me in this book. This book lead me to think that it is God that has been missing. A relationship with Jesus is missing. I bought my very first Bible and I have opened it every day since I got it a month ago.
  
  The community and Kay’s books has inspired me to be more open to God. I am now listening to sermons in the morning while I’m making coffee and my breakfast. I’m watch live service on Sunday mornings. I truly believe that this book came to me when I needed it most. Any other time I would have sent it back but this is what I have been missing!

  Excellent Women's Devotional Book! I use this book as a reference all the time when I need to refocus and remember to "Choose Joy".
