Susanne Dietze never fails to put a smile on my face after reading her stories, whether historical or contemporary. This newest offering from the author is no exception. The story has it all - romantic tension as main characters duel for the same retail space, adorable twins, fun pets, difficult family relationships that lead to reconciliation, hurts in the past that require healing, and dependence on faith and God's leading. It's a book you can read in one sitting and feel warmed all over after finishing.

Tom is a relatable hero, a widower trying to rise out of the ashes of grief and regret so that he can be a better dad for his twins. Delia is a sweetheart, trying to keep her antique store afloat while putting together a town museum. Their friendship is sweet and special, given that they're competing against each other for the same retail space on Main Street - he to start an outfitters store and she to start a museum. Tom's twins are precious and charming.

I found some of my favorite things in this heartwarming book. Antiques were a constant with me growing up. My mother was an Antique Dealer and Collector and we lived in an historic house. This was so much fun to see the residents and shop keepers caring about preserving the town’s history. Add in cute pets, cute twins and two Christians vying for an empty storefront and you have a super story.
Faith has a heart for her town and wants to open a museum next door to her Antique Shop. Widower, Thomas Santos has come back to his roots to be able to care for his six year old twins, Nora and Logan. He also wants to bring tourists and revenue into town. This story shows that even Christians who have differing opinions and dreams can wait on God for an answer, that their dreams are not wrong and God will bring the perfect solution for all involved. Tom and Faith showed Grace to each other and gained so much in spite of their differences.
The twins were precious and each personality shone through. The pets, Bet-teeny the cat and Roscoe, the dog, added a funny, sweet element.
This story is realistic and dealt with God’s provision, forgiveness and working together for a common good. My favorite kind of romance!

'He was like a man on the edge of a frozen lake, worried if he stepped out, the ice would crack beneath his feet.'

Widower Tomas Santos moves to Widow's Peak with his twins to start an outdoor store, only to find next door shop owner Faith Latham wants the same store space for a town museum. Both agree to be nice but fight for the space. As their feelings begin to grow, how can this end well?

Dietze has written a most heartwarming story here. Sometimes fear holds us back when God has much bigger and better plans. And those twins are so doggone adorable! I wanted hugs from them.

I'm a fan of the historical romances penned by Susanne Dietz but her newest book is just as enjoyable and it's a contemorary romance! Adorable twins needing a mother, a widowed father who's made it his mission to give his children the best life that he possibly can, and a special young woman who wants to preserve the history of her beloved town are the main characters in this heartwarming story set in the small town of Widow's Peak Creek, California.

Faith Latham and Tomas Santos are remarkable people who never lose sight of their Christians beliefs, even when they are competing for the same storefront building location! It's obvious that these former high school classmates share a special connection and Tomas's twins, Nora and Logan, especially like Faith. Wouldn't everything be perfect if she could be their new Mom? Sadly, there are complications and conflicts that may make their dreams of "happily-ever-after" impossible to achieve!

Dietz gives us realistic characters, a promising romance, the hilarious matchmaking antics of 6 year-old-twins, and a faith-message that reminds us that God's Plan may seem hidden but He is always working on our behalf. I look forward to returning to Widow's Peak Creek and I highly recommend A Future for HIs Twins to all who enjoy contemporary Christian romance.

I voluntarily accepted a copy of this book but was in no way obligated to write a positive review. These are my own thoughts.

What a sweet story with the most adorable kiddos ever! Nora and Logan are a sweet set of twins and Faith and Tom made for a great couple to root for finding happily ever after. The story moves well and kept me interested. The ending was perfect and I am looking forward to more stories about Faith and Tom's friends. If you like sweet Hallmark type romances, this is one you are sure to enjoy!!

This is such a sweet book. And the twins steal the show! They are such adorably written characters! The town and history facts are fun. I like the small town friendships displayed. The two main characters are competing for the same building on Main Street. Instead of ugliness occurring, a friendship forms. Tomas’ mother is super protective of her son and grandchildren. Almost to the point of not liking her. As you read through the book, you’ll find out if she has any redeemable qualities. I received a copy of this book from the author. All views stated are my own.

A Future for His Twins is a sweet, Love Inspired romance by Susanne Dietze. Tomás Santos and Faith Latham both want the same historic building for their new shops. The mayor pits them against one another. But Tom’s little twins have other plans.

This is an absolutely adorable story! The twins truly capture the show as much as they capture Faith’s heart. Tom, a widower, is trying to do right by his kids. Faith is trying to fulfill a dream no one else believes in. Can they be friends despite the competition?

What I loved most about this story is how the emotion seeps through the pages. The setting is beautiful and the characters multi-dimensional. The writing carries away the reader, winding through a captivating story. It’s one I didn’t want to put down and stayed up too late to finish.

If you’re looking for a lighthearted, sweet romance, definitely check out A Future for His Twins. It was a fantastic read!

A FUTURE FOR HIS TWINS by Susanne Dietze from Love Inspired

Faith values her antique finds but I want to see her redesigned vintage furnitures for modern clients. Tom loves his twins. He also has promised his parents to prioritize his kids and not date. But he is drawn to Faith's willingness to put up with their sneaky and silly antics. Those kids are so cute but kids are kids. They got too attached to Faith that worried Tom's parents. It warmed my heart when Nora insisted that eating pizza with Miss Faith is their new tradition. I am happy that Faith and Chloe has reconnected. This is a short and sweet family story with a Christian message. 4 stars

Susanne Dietze is a new author to me, but I will be looking for more books by her. This story was heartwarming. Faith Latham has always lived with the past as she sells not just antiques in her store, but the stories of the pieces she sells. She wants to rent the building next door to her shop and turn it into a museum. Tomas Santos has returned to his hometown to raise his twins close to his parents. He is opening an outdoor store, and the perfect location, is the building next to faith’s shop. Who will win? This story has cute kids, pets, and good storyline.

  • Heidi

Fantastic! Single dad + twins for the win!
I love Suzie's writing style, the uplifting tone of the story and of course the swoon worthy, slow-burn wholesome romance.
I highly recommend this delightful novel.
