Ryan: When the agency sent a nanny over, I expected someone homely and plain. I never expected to open the door to the sassy, curvy, and utterly beautiful Regina Frank. But one thing leads to another and soon, she’s not just my nanny … she’s getting a surprise and her belly will be big by the time we’re done.
This is a secret baby second chance romance where our hero already has five kids, so he’s not exactly looking for more. But after he knocks up the gorgeous nanny on his doorstep, will he reconsider? Get your fire extinguisher out because you’ll need it to cool off after reading this taboo romance. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and always a HEA for my readers.

Another great steamy read by Law. Had a little bit of everything in it for a romance novel. It was steamy, and filthy. And I wanted it to be longer 😢. But I know eventually it would have to end. Love both endings. Characters were great and strong. Loved the sassy nanny Regina.
Regina is looking forward to get money back in her account and couldn't be more happier to babysit the man's five children. Her only worry is working for her employer. He's drop dead handsome. Can she do her job alright without making a fool of herself? -
Great!!!!!
Just wonderful, I love S.E. Laws books! I own almost all of them. I thoroughly enjoy the story lines and they're just so hot and exciting to read.
If you're looking for something fun and quick this is it -
What a beautiful love story! I couldn’t wait to see how this one turned out! But what a perfect ending and then the bonus extra chapter was so fitting! I loved Ryan and Regina!

Cute but not what was hoping for.
A secret baby romance actually has to have a “secret”. Finding out your pregnant and not saying anything for a couple of days isn’t all that big a deal. A secret baby romance is more about a circumstance that separates a couple for a long period of time, maybe even years. The angsty drama of an unexpected pregnancy or of hiding the secret too plays a large role in the “secret” part of the story. And then the “secret” reveal makes the whole point of the book worth it.
While this book had a decent reveal, I still don’t consider it all that much of a secret. If months had past maybe. Also, I highly doubt the FMC would have “ghosted” on the baby daddy like that considering how she was written. So it was very off putting that she did that. It threw off the whole tone of the story.
Besides that, it was well written and a decent read but I felt it was lacking something. I was bored. The s e x scenes were decent enough as well. Enjoy. -
So let’s take a look at our lead characters.
First we have Regina who made the mistake of picking the worst major in college that would have made Underwater Basket Weaving profitable: French. To further cement her waste of life choices, she’s only got a few dollars left in her checking account so she’s taking on the first nanny job that offered…coincidentally to a billionaire of all people. Her fun but hormonal cheerleader of a bestie, Denise, serves as a reminder of Regina’s biggest flaw besides terrible life choices: she’s (gasp!) A CURVY GIRL! But only Regina sees this as a horrible stigma in life which means everyone else is going to gush about how beautiful she actually is while she sticks her fingers in her ears and dives down the shallow well of Informed Flaw.
And now we turn to our male lead, the self proclaimed alpha male Ryan Blythe. He got divorced not too long ago and you know it’s not his fault because he was married to a “rich blonde b****” who was a terrible mother to their five kids and didn’t have a first name that began with R. So because he’s so busy, Father of the Year needs a nanny yesterday for his five little muppets and hired Regina without having met her or running any sort of background check.
Cue him acting like a love struck teenage boy at the sight of Regina who wins over the kids and Ry-guy with shallow compliments. And for kids whose mother suddenly left them, they show absolutely no sign that they’re bothered by the divorce and immediately accept Regina as their new mom figure with no protest or resistance. After all, nothing’s a bigger mood killer than kids asking about where Mommy went because nobody likes Sandy and Ryan says you shouldn’t either.
S.E. Law wants us to support Ryan being the good guy so on Regina’s first day, a fire breaks out next door and Ryan plays the hero and volunteers to help while Regina holes up in the playroom with the kids. And it doesn’t even take two days for Ryan to take advantage of Regina sleeping in the playroom to move her to his bedroom so he can undress her and touch her inappropriately (after he puts the other kids to bed because he’s such a Good Dad!). Regina is surprised by this but because she’s attracted to him and has no self respect, she blames herself for him acting like a teenager who discovered girls rather than the “mature CEO” he’s supposed to be.
After a heart to heart full of more demonizing Sandy because boy we should really hate her and praising Regina’s terrible life choices and Ryan still not getting a kick in the family jewels, they finally have the sex Ryan lied about them having last night.
Skip ahead four weeks of adult gymnastics behind the kids’ backs and it’s time for a trip to Grandma’s! And Ryan overhears Regina on the phone with her cheerleader saying that she’s in love with him! Le gasp! That fun trip to Grandma’s is now going to be miserable because he loves Regina too and she’s not coming on the trip! Let me play a song on the world’s smallest violin and continue to lament a lack of Ryan being kicked in the family jewels.
Skipping past Regina’s one person pity party at Mommy and Daddy’s and a girls night with Denise, she finds that her period is late. Uh-oh, Spaghettios! Ryan said he didn’t want any more children but instead of getting the ol’ snip snip or rendered sterile by a kick in the family jewels, he just fulfilled his dormant fantasy by knocking up the nanny. A pregnancy test confirms it and our mature protagonist proceeds to do the adult thing and talk to Ryan about it and they figure out what they’re going to do about this.
lol jk she ghosts him because maturity doesn’t exist here.
Ryan gets worried after a week of no contact and heads home alone with his parents taking care of his misfired chromosomes and instead of kicking him in the family jewels for only having a cell phone as contact information, his conveniently appearing housekeeper gives him Regina’s parents’ address. They reunite and he finds out she’s pregnant, Regina fakes that she’s a strong independent woman who don’t need no man, Ryan calls her out, she cries like a baby, and I cry because Ryan doesn’t get a kick in the family jewels.
Cue two years later and they add Royce to their menagerie of R names, Regina is the new mommy, and Ryan finally puts a ring on it but still doesn’t get a vasectomy or a kick in the family jewels.
And that was My Secret Baby, another misleading and rushed story with no interesting characters and no well deserved groin attacks to inappropriate fake alpha males. Before I head out, let me quote from a good friend as I was rolling my eyes about Ryan calling himself an “alpha male” in his narrative:
"If you call yourself an Alpha Male, you are in fact an Omega, and I will peg you." -
I wasn't very impressed with this story. The FMC was the new nanny to the billionaire MMC's 5 kids. Now, I'm all for matching names when it comes to being a bit whimsical. However, every single character in this book had a first name that began with the letter "R". It got a bit trying at times. Anyway, I digress.
From the moment the FMC pulled up to the MMC's mansion, she had the hots for him. From the moment he opened the door to let her in, he had the hots for her. A mutual admiration society, eh? The first night in residence, the MMC witnessed the FMC pleasuring herself to his name. It didn't take long after that for them to fall into bed together.
After working for him for just a month, the MMC and his five sprouts were going to visit his parents, but the FMC wasn't invited. So, she went home to be with HER parents. While there, she learned she was preggers. Now, during one of their conversations, the MMC had told her about his relationship with his ex-wife. He told her how she had given him the five kids, but then told him shortly after the birth of the youngest two (twins), that she wasn't cut out to be a mother and that she had never loved him. At the end of the story, the MMC informed the FMC he was "five and done" and didn't want more kids. So now, here was the FMC at her parents' home and pregnant. What did she do? She ghosted him because of that above-mentioned conversation. She determined to have the baby on her own and not burden him with it.
When the MMC had gone a week without hearing from the FMC, his father told him to go to her and fix things...so he did. When he found her at her parents' home, he also noticed her open laptop and the fact that the browser was open to a site that had baby furniture. So he confronted her about it. She admitted it, they exchanges a few harsh words, then cleared the air and made up. At the end of the epilogue, there was a link to an extended epilogue that took place after another five years. Me? I'm a sucker for a happy ending, so I checked it out. I can't say I was that pleased with it. There are things that I can put up with in a relationship. I don't mind a little BDSM, and a touch of the erotic. However, what I can't stand is when one character is derogatory toward the other. I guess I'm one of those "old-school" women who prefer their hero/main man to be a bit more respectful...both in reality as well as in the books I read.
I couldn't give this book more than a two-star rating. There were a number of reasons, but I'll let the next reader learn them as they go along. -

Hiring Their Missing Piece -
Ryan was a billionaire CEO, Loving, single father of five, who was quite overwhelmed, so he decided to hire a nanny. Regina was a young woman who enjoyed being a nanny, even though that wasn’t what she studied in college. She fit perfectly into their lives and made them all fell safe and loved. The more time they all spent together, made it feel like they were a family. However, it all came to a head when an unexpected surprise nearly breaks them up, because of a late night conversation between Ryan and Regina. The story is really entertaining and enjoyable, as the sparks, love, family closeness and wonderful characters, will definitely pulls on your heartstrings. You won’t be able to help but fall in love with all of them.
This book is definitely a great addition, to the list of successful books written by S. E. Law. I suggest you add this book to your ‘to be read’ list immediately.

Regina and Ryan are looking for the same thing, however, they just don't know it yet. There is something so magical about anything Ms. S.E. Law produces for each of us reader's.
In this exquisite romance, we are introduced to two superbly crafted characters that immediately reel us in to an exquisitely designed storyline, that is sure to please, even the hardest of hearts. What began as a new Nanny position, turns in to an unforgettable happily ever after, however, getting there is not easy. I encourage you to devote your time and energy to getting lost in the world of Ms. Law's making and discover just how wonderfully she can spin a tale.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Her Secret Baby in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion. I highly recommend reading this release as well as absolutely anything published by Ms. S.E. Law. -

This was my first book by SEL and I loved it. The characters were great. The twins were super funny, always role playing. The 5 years later was unexpected. So glad I got to read it -
A nanny falls for her boss but is unsure of her place in his life.
A man falls for the nanny but is he willing to start another family.
These two are cute together especially how they grow to form a family together.
