Ruthless. Cunning. Gorgeous. Killers.

They are the Kings of Bolten, an elite academy I have no business being in. My desire to remain invisible is dashed when I find myself bound to one of their enemies.

Now, there’s no escape.

With me in the crosshairs in a war between Kings and Lords at Bolten, will I be another victim or will the Kings spare me on the condition I belong to them?

One thing is certain. I have a few dirty little secrets. Maybe I’m not the good girl everyone thought.

Maybe I’m meant to be queen. Maybe… I’m meant to rule.

Dirty Little Secrets is a mature #whychoose romance with three sinful Kings of Bolten. Contains dark content and scenarios. Reader discretion advised.

    Alright, so...WTF?

I went from this chick, Bianca, to being someone who sticks up for herself, to being scared (which in some parts, completely understandable) to cowering down from 0 to 100. Her famous words were always "fuck you" then she does what she's told. 😒

    Alright, fine.

Then I'm introduced to this little prick, Hail, our villain. Dude is disgusting, I'm give the author props on literally wanting to rip this guy's crap off. Kudos there.

Then we get to our harem, Dominic, Vincent, and Levin. I swear some of the banter between the two of them reminded me of their age. 😬 Like...✋️ no thanks.

Dominic grew on me first. For a second. Then Vincent. Levin was perceived as this crazy killer dude, cool story, but I have yet to see him do anything but be broody and nontalkitive.
So we're reading and reading...I get to hear about how beautiful Bianca is and everyone wants to screw her because she's a virgin. *sigh*

    Okay...

More talking about how she's beautiful, the enemy, more screwing. 🤔

Now all of a sudden things get heated and now everyone is in love with her.

    Wait, what?

You've known each other for 5 minutes?

You had this chick eating on the floor like a dog?

    I'm confused...

    You love her?

I get the whole alpha/mafia crap. However, let me go back to the 5 minute thing.

    FIVE MINUTES.

I would've let this slide if we weren't confessing our love four minutes later. I can't.

    Smh...

Anyways...so our girls a virgin. She's not anymore. Now she wants to screw all the time. Oh! And everyone says how good she sucks them off after her first time. 👍 sounds totally legit.

I'm just...I get this is fiction. I get that I'm supposed to be sucked into a story to get me out of my real life. But the love stuff just threw me for a loop. Not any of the dark or messed-up scenes, it was the emotional connection.

    Where is it?

It was lacking in that department, and I paged flipped.

I will admit, though, I'm curious to see how this is going to end. The author can write great inner monologue, how some of the dialogue was just, ugh.

    Spicy & Captivating

Her mother newly married to the D'Angelou family (unbeknownst mafia ties), daughter Bianca finds herself betrothed to Mikhail "Hail" of the Ivanov family and attending Bolten Academy, unaware of the strife this pledged alliance and Hail and his crew will bring to her. Enter the Kings -- Dominic, Vincent, and Levin -- members of the de Santis rival family to the Ivanov-D'Angelou partnership. What are the secrets among them? Who's the devil and what happens when Bianca wants to make a deal with him?

Excellent character development made this story vibrant, a live enactment transpiring in my mind. The mystery and twists keep me uncertain but excited about what I would read next. Dominic, controlled but fiery leads their trio, including a more carefree Vincent and broody and cold Levin, who work their deals and business while at the academy. Likewise, a power-hungry and volatile Hail of the opposing family leads the Ivanov crew. Bianca, sweet and assertive, is catalyst between them.

The pace was fluid, progressive even while rich in detail. The writing depicted tangible sexual chemistry and tension, even strong feelings, between Bianca and the guys. It was indeed a very spicy read. Besides the unpredictable plot that had my eyes eating up the book's words, I was surprised at unexpected outcomes. While not a dark romance by my standards, there were dark themes and a cliffhanger of all cliffhangers.

A captivating read. I can't wait to know what happens next

This author knows how to do dark!!! HOLY ISH‼️ This baby right here is dark and makes my little black heart beat wildly! I loved it! This is one of those books that keeps you on your toes guessing what might happen and let me tell you that you still won’t know. Just when you think you have it figured out you absolutely don’t…. I can’t even begin to tell you the emotional roller coaster ride that I was taken on and I am sure we are barely scratching the surface. This series is going to be so da*n good I can’t wait for more! This is one of those stories that you don’t want to say too much so that you don’t give anything away just know that you should read the TW and if your cool then dive in head first because everything you think you know about this book I promise you it’s so much more… ONE CLICK NOW!!!

EEEEEEEK! This is a dark little beast! Too dark for me that's for sure. I have to give up on dark books when I absolutely have ZERO interest in the mmc's and/or they reach a point of irredeemable--and that's what happened with this one. The guys really just disgust the hell out of me, and I found myself at a point where there wasn't a character in the book that I liked.

For all my little lovers of all things dark, this one is for you! You will LOVE it!

If you are sensitive to triggers or if you get kinda squirmy with things like non-con, degradation/humiliation, and or physical violence...you need to steer clear of this one.

I can read dark books, and I thought that I would be okay with this one, but at the 80% mark I just had to stop. When I get to the point that I'm so mad and just want every single person in the book to die already, then I have to step away.

Congrats to Reuss for writing a book that definitely engaged my emotions....even if it was mostly seething anger, lol.

  • Amanda Herring

I found this book to be extremely frustrating. I don't know how many times I wanted to throw my kindle across the room because it made me so mad, but at the same time I found the overall story line to be interesting. I understand that it is an enemies to lovers, bully romance, and I'm all for that, but it seemed like she literally hated all of them one minute(with good reason) and then was all of a sudden professing her love for all of them the next second. There was no gradual transition or groveling or any change in their crappy behavior. None of her relationships with any of the guys seemed believable to me because they never did anything to try and redeem themselves. Like I said, extremely frustrating/confusing, but I am invested enough to want to know what is going to happen next and continue the series.

  • Samantha Lynn

This has been forever on my TBR and I’m so glad I finally read it. My girls told me the guys in this were YUM and they did not disappoint.

This book is dark and not always easy to read, but KG didn’t disappoint with her writing and the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the characters in this. I was expecting a bit more from Hail, but the ways I fell for Levin are unreal.

I really enjoyed the building of the plot and the cliffhanger has me so curious that I’m immediately jumping into Book 2!

  • Maddie (Bookaholic_Dreamer)

Once again KG Reuss aka QUEEN of CLIFFY, SUSPENSE, HEARTBREAK and TORTURE has come through with an explosive start to the crazy, chaotic, dark and twisted Reverse Harem story that is Dirty Little Secrets from The Kings of Bolton series.

Dirty Little Secretsis an Enemies to Lovers Bully Romance story told through multiple POVs consisting of Bianca D’Angelou née Walker alongside the Kings Dominic ‘Dom’ De Santis, Vincent Valentino and Levin ‘Levi’ Seeley plus a surprising other.

Dirty Little Secretsis just that, a story that is filled to the brim with dirty secrets,.
With a narrative that gave you so much to take in and consume, considering everything that was going on and around the lives of the main characters Bianca, Dom, Vincent and Levi. Whilst simultaneously looking at the story into the secondary characters, with their relevance and how they connect into the main plot. However despite all that is going on, it never took away from the main narrative that was focused around Bianca and her relationship with the Kings. Seeing as it’s their story.
It lead to the overall journey that is Dirty Little Secretstaking you on is a tumultuous whirlwind adventure that consisted of drama from the rivalry between the Kings and Lords, as well as from the rocky relationship between Bianca and her Kings. Suspense surrounding the mysteries that are hinted to with the secrets that are being kept hidden away, causing a lot of angst from the building of tension and anticipation of what would and/or could occur when said secrets were revealed. On top of that there was SUPER HEATED, SMOKING HOT and SPICY steam that definitely had you needing to crack a window. All mainly set within the grounds of Bolten Academy.
All in all, reading this story was like riding a rollercoaster ride, unpredictable and full of surprises considering the ups and downs that occur throughout. Never wanting it to end of get off, especially considering the lead up led to an SHOCKINGLY UNFORGETTABLE and UNEXPECTED drop that resulted in more HAVOC and CHAOS!

The cliffhanger ending though, talk about EXPLOSIVE! It will leave you slack jawed with being speechless, while simultaneously wanting to scream for more!
Safe to say Dirty Little Secretsblew me away, which is why I can’t wait for the next book to see how the story will play out!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading Dirty Little Secrets,I promise you won’t regret it!

  • 【Stars at Dawn】

    DNF at 54%.

I wanted something a little bit different but this is just dark for the sake of being dark with a very thin plot. 80% of the characters, including the main heroine, are just giant contradictions of themselves, being both virtuous and monstrous from one breath to another. It’s highly repetitive and it doesn’t seem like anyone can think more than 1-2 days in advance.

Sure, it’s pretty spicy, but it’s more like awkward spicy than dark spicy. For a reverse harem, Bianca sure doesn’t have much power over any of the men. It’s kind of sad really.

    Cliffhangers!!!

Wow. I'm glad this series is complete because otherwise I'd go insane waiting from that cliffhanger.

This book requires a lot of buy in from the reader. Everyone's emotions go fast with little interaction between them to spur it. However, the interactions are worth it. It gets more intense as it continues and if you let yourself fall into it you will enjoy. This is a dark romance. There are trigger warnings and you should pay attention to them.

I liked the differences between the Kings. Part of me wishes we got to see more of the various Lords dynamics as well, but they were still great as villains. As you get into the story you realize pretty much everyone is a villain (Except her best friend! At least so far.) Bianca's situation is that cliche, out of the frying pan and into the fire. There were times you wanted to curse her out for being so dumb. Also she goes from Haye to last with very little workup. Luckily that can be fun in this type of fiction. I think we'd all hate reading about the good girl if she stayed good in this genre.

I will definitely be continuing in the series.

Things to know: this is a reverse harem with some slight MMF interaction but mostly MFM+
TW: bullying, Dubcon, noncon, abuse, sex trafficking, gun use, control, and probably more- check the warnings before ou but, they'll be listed.

    Kings of Bolten 1

Talk about your hard triggers! If you have issues with noncon then skip this book. It’s pretty dark but also darn good! I wish wasp really had a stinger, not gonna lie. Her stepdad, heck her pitiful mom need stinging, every single Lord except Fallon need rotting, oh and all of their fathers too! I’m on a bloodthirsty rant I know lol but not taking back the scum need to be taken out. Good book in my personal opinion.

Another great Dark Reverse Harem by her! I swear at this point that when it comes to RH Romance, K.G. Reuss is my go-to! Her mind is brilliant 🖤🖤🖤

  • Sarah Beth

OMG! OMG! OMG! This is the first book for the Kings of Bolten Academy series. It is a dark (and I mean dark) bully romance with mafia ties and some reverse harem sprinkled in. This book is also told through multiple POVs so we are able to see into all the main characters experiences and how their stories develop. As mentioned in the beginning of the book by K.G. this book contains many dark elements and themes from drug use, to violence. Check your trigger warnings and proceed with caution.

Bianca’s mother has remarried into the D’Angelou family after her father went missing. Unfortunately, dearest step-father had an agenda to form an alliance with the Ivanov’s to create more power within their mafia community and arranged for Bianca to marry Mikhail ‘Hail’. She then was sent off to Bolten Academy to finish her education (and learn her place) and to become closer to Hail before the wedding. The only thing on Bianca’s mind was finding out what happened to her father and trying to get out from underneath Hail and his punishments. In come the Kings - Dominic, Vincent, and Levin. Bianca makes a deal with them for protection and safety from the Lords - Hail, Drake, Tate and Fallon. But did she make a deal with the devil to get out from under another? Did she trade one form of punishment for another?

To read how this story unfolds will leave you on the edge of your seat. One minute you hate the Kings, and the next you love them. Dominic is your broody, arrogant, cocky bastard, Vincent is your sweet, caring, affectionate partner, and Levin is the silent, no holds bar type. Their character developments are astounding and you get to experience so many emotions while reading. From anger, to sadness, to love, to heartache, to enthralled, to even wanting to throw the book. This book does end on a cliffhanger (one of K.G.’s specialties) and I cannot wait to see what happens next for the Kings and the Lords!

  • Christine G.

If you're looking for all the best tropes nicely presented in 353 pages of literary perfection, then look no further then Dirty Little Secrets. We're talking mafia, arranged marriage, mystery, intrigue, drama, and if that's not enough to sway you, did I mention it's a reverse harem?!? As can be expected from our queen KG Reuss, the spice is next level, fan yourself and blush worthy.
Bianca is our fiery, strong female lead. She's caught between warring mafia families when she turns to the Kings of Bolten - Dominic, Vincent and Levin (members of the DeSantis family) and makes a deal to protect her from her fiance (whom she's non too pleased about being forcefully engaged to) Mikhail "Hail" Ivanov, heir to the Ivanov family. Did she make a deal with the Devil? Are the Kings the lesser of 2 evils?
The story and character development, not to mention the unexpected twists and turns made it almost impossible to put this book down. The ending left me slack jawed and aching for more!
    Another win from KG Reuss

Yes yes yes !! I love the start to this series had me hooked from the start and had me questioning everything. This book pulled on my hear strings for lots of reasons. it had the perfect combination of spice to story line. And what a cliff hanger I'm so excited to see what the next in the series has to offer !!

  • Klaudija Lovković

    Not for me.

The romance between Bianca and the Kings could had been better developed before the I love you, because she doesn't really know anything about them.

Bully Romance With All The Usual Cast Characters, Setting & Familiar Scenarios

*** Spoilers Present in this review***

Dirty Little Secrets’ is your typical DarkBully Romance.

It’s not BAD, but it doesn’t really bring anything new to the table

You will quickly realise that there are very similar plot twists in play here.

Poor, but models worthy Bianca Walker, with her blonde wavy hair, long legs, and impressive breasts, ( pay close attention because her physical attributes are described A LOT)
finds herself being used as a pawn by her new Step-daddy,

    David D’Angelou…

    He’s mafioso through,and through.

Evil, beyond reproach, and in need of a pretty stepdaughter to marry the son of the man about to be his new business partner Sergio Ivanov, head of the Russian Bratva

His name Mikhail or, Hail for short.

Blonde, good looking, and a total psychopath.

Suffice to say, thing don’t go well for Bianca, as she is forced to comply with the wishes of all the men.

Not only THAT, but she also ends up in the same college ‘Bolton’, as Hail where he is head of ‘The Lords’ the Russians

    Other members Being -
    Tate
    Drake
    And Fallon

There enemies at ‘Bolton’ are the Italians.

    Otherwise known as ‘The Kings’

    Their members being -

    Dominic De Santis
    Levin Seeley
    Vincent Valentino

So, the scene is set as these two groups battle for supremacy at ‘Bolton’.And for the praise of their respective families.

And the girl they both plan to use to win that power is Bianca D’Angelou
    née Walker

Hail enjoys abusing her in private to satisfy his urges, while parading her around campus like a prized dog, as she becomes the girl ALL the boys want ( partly due to her ‘V’ card status) partly because of her knock out looks.

Her looks also make her the girl that other girl envy, especially when she garners the attention of The Kings Alpha, Dominic.

However, what Bianca isn’t aware of are plans by Dominic’s father, Matteo, to have her killed before she can marry Hail, and align two powerful families against him.
And, the person he has press ganged into doing his bidding is get ANOTHER man who has fallen hard for her.

One of the Lords own, Fallon Vasiliev.

You see, Fallons on a…Pardon the Pun,…Deadline.
Because the De Santis Head had his sister Natalia, and is threatening to kill her if the deed is not done soon.

Plus, dear old daddy Matteo, is pressuring his own son, no stranger to killing, Dominic to get the job done if things go to S***

This all leads up to a big showdown at Homecoming, were we don’t know if Bianca will make it out alive.
    Hail after her.
    Fallons after her.
And!….after a secret is revealed in the mens bathroom, to Dominic and Vinny, THEY might just have to kill her AS WELL

    Phew!

Yeah, this is pretty much your standard DBR fair.
You have, evil mafia crime bosses, and henchmen as parents of the guys, who all have Daddy issues, which causes conflict around what they are ordered to do, and what their conscience is telling them to do.

    The college setting…The Same

The feisty Female Lead that starts of being horribly abused and debased, only to win over, not ONE! But! FOUR guys…FOUR!!! ( yeah typical “why chose” BS)

Plus throw in the FL bestie side character, ( there is ALWAYS a bestie)
    Aubrey who is THAT girl.
You know the one? The one she can confide in,

And, you have all the usual suspects.

Even down to the heroic Kings boys miraculously coming to the rescue to save the damsel, Bianca.

At the start of this book Bianca, was the girl who just wanted to find her missing ( suspected murdered) father, and be happy.

She couldn’t stand being touched by any of the disgusting men who treated her like a toy.

    UNTIL!

Those men were hot young guys her own age ( who also debased her…but HEY! they’re HOT)
THEN she was down for some multiple MM/F action.
Once that cherry of hers was popped, Bianca found out she had a kink..REAL QUICK!

I was disappointed at the end of this book.
Bianca started of very down to earth and relatable.
You could empathise with the situation she had got into.
You felt her pain, and anguish as she was humiliated by both groups of power hungry guys.

I hated it when it moved into the RH, Why Choose , territory.
For me, this seemed out of character for her, to forgive her earlier treatment at the hands of so many men.

But, the author chose to allow the broken boys to all confide in her.

Giving them their redemption moment, while also using this ploy for Bianca to empathise with all of their predicaments.

I was kinda hoping it would of taken a different turn.
I wanted Bianca to have struck to her end game and taken them all down.

So wanted her to get away at the end.

I mean the whole search for her father is now so far down the road, it’s in a different STATE.
She’s COMPLETELY D. Matized by the guys

  • WordsAreMagical

I liked the setting of the story. Usually you would just know the boys who will be part of the harem but here a surprise comes out which makes things entertaining. Bianca is in a bad predicament, the only ones who can help her are the enemies of the ones she's with. It has a whole Mafia world build up which I always like. She makes her choice but is it the right one? That's something she has to figure out eventually. The guys range different in their dynamics with her. I like that they are territorial and just cannot stomach having anyone else in their chosen harem. But apparently the love bug is caught early on to Bianca and she already is in love with someone she cannot be with. Still she feels love for the ones she's with too. It's crazy to think this will work out, there will be a lot of friction but I just think it will be entertaining to see it.

Dominic is ruthless but he is more blinded by the possessiveness he feels for Bianca still his heart has a tinge of softness. We figure out this when we reach the end. But he is crazy and relentless so its going to be entertaining with him when the next book comes.
Vincent is more of a lover boy, a care taker who just wants to love and be loved. I have to agree love feelings came up pretty early on here but I guess it's alright.
Levin man this boy is a softie at heart but his heart is guarded with high titanium walls. Bianca does a good job of making through them and he also feels the most level headed out of the three when it comes to her.
We have a mystery lover, you will know him when you read the book. I think he is very passive though but I would like to see more of his aggressive side when it comes down to having Bianca.

The ending is crazy and I want to know how they made it possible also want to see how they will fight now against people who want to hurt them.

Bianca D’Angelou is headed to Bolten Academy, and she can’t get away fast enough. Her new stepdad is a wicked man; hellbent on using Bianca in ANY way he sees fit.

Bianca unexpectedly finds herself attached to Hail, son of the Bratva. He is a viscous punk who treats her with cruelty and contempt.

Hail is the leader of the Lords, a crew consisting of his lapdogs. Willing to do some of the most depraved things, all in the name of fun.

Enter Dominic De Santis, Vincent Valentino and Levin Seeley, the Kings of Bolten. This trio is hot as hell; sex-on-a-stick and sin personified. Ladies, prepare to drool!

Dominic is the broody, confident leader. Vincent is the hilarious laidback playboy, and Levin is the dark, slightly psychotic enforcer. All three of them ooze dominance and ultimate sex appeal.

Dominic is the son of the Italian Mafia, and we find ourselves immersed in an epic showdown between Hail, his Lords, and the Kings.

Dominic thinks D’Angelou must be eliminated. But the Kings quickly realize Bianca can used to strike at Hail and take the one thing he needs, an alliance.

The Kings offer Bianca their protection. But it comes with a heavy price; belong to them and submit to their every whim, sexual and otherwise. Is she just trading one set of chains for another? Can she trust them?

The guys’ loyalty to each other is obvious, but each experience jealousy and tension with the idea of sharing Bianca. Their banter was laugh-out-loud funny and I loved the witty comebacks!

There is a lot of angst and sexual tension in this book! It was spicy as hell, and I loved all three guys.

It does end on a cliffhanger which came up fast! I couldn’t put this book down! It was a stay-up way past my bedtime because I need just one more chapter kind of story.

This was another hit out of the park for me! I can’t wait until Pretty Little Sins is released!

    Awesome read

Wow!!! This is the first book in a new series by KG Reuss. This is a dark bully mafia reverse harem series that left me wanting more at the end of the book. More of Bianca, Dominic, Vincent, Levin, and maybe even a little more Fallon.
Bianca has had it rough. Her dad has disappeared, her mom has remarried, and she’s now being enrolled at Bolten Prep where life is anything but easy. She starts the school engaged to Hail Ivanov in an arranged marriage situation. Her engagement is something she doesn’t. Hail leads The Lords (Fallon, Tate, and Drake) and they are as sick and twisted as he is. Fallon though has me wondering about him and his real intentions. To escape her engagement and what Hail is doing to her she makes a deal with the devil.
Dominic De Santis is the devil and the leader of The Kings. He along with Vincent and Levin run the school and tend to business deals for Dom’s dad. The Kings are dark, dangerous, but dang are they sexy!
This is a fast paced story that’s full of twists and turns. The chemistry between Bianca and The Kings is off the charts hot and
there is something there between her and Fallon! A great book that ends with one hell of a cliffhanger. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to be released I just wish I didn’t have to wait a year for it. You can preorder the second book now. I can’t wait to see what secrets will be uncovered in the next book and as the series progresses.

Wow…Dirty Little Secret is filled with so many twists, turns, things going sideways, secrets, revelations, emotions, and so very hot🔥. I loved it!! K.G. Reuss is a new favorite author and I am thrilled that I read Dirty Little Secrets as it has so many of the elements I love to read about. I admit I laughed and cried and empathized with the characters so much so that I did not want to put this book down. I read most of the night. I should have known that once I started reading a book from K.G that I would need to give myself sufficient time to read it all in one go. I love the female heroines that K.G. brings to life. Bianca is no exception. She is so very strong, resilient and has so much fight in her. She definitely was a match for Vincent, Levin, and Dom didn’t know what hit them. I loved the ending it took me by surprise and I definitely had shed a tear or two before I realized what actually happened. I was relieved to say the least but it still lead up to a cliffhanger ending that has me anxious for Pretty Little Sins, book two of the Kings of Bolton. Things heated up very quickly and you won’t want to miss a single page, paragraph, sentence, or word. All of the things mentioned above is the reason K.G. Reuss has quickly been added to my favorite authors list. I highly recommend Dirty Little Secret, Kings of Bolton as a series, and K.G. Reuss as an author. Happy Reading!
