When the funeral of a childhood friend brings Kayla back to North Glade, she's forced to face the very reasons she left. And when three sizzling exes reveal they still harbor feelings for her? The men come up with a very unique way of determining who gets their shot.
There's Warren... her first in every way. Whiskey brown eyes. A lady-killing smile and a roguishly handsome face, set upon shoulders to die for.
Then there's Luke, tall, blonde and perfect. Warren's best friend... at least up until he and Kayla shared that smoldering hot summer together, just after their breakup.
Finally there's Adrian, the brooding tattooed god. Thick black hair with mountains of muscle; a friend with benefits so raw and savage Kayla could never hope to resist - nor would she ever want to.
Choosing between them becomes an impossibility... until a very unorthodox solution presents itself. One that leaves Kayla breathless and filled with butterflies, while fulfilling every last one of her far-flung fantasies.
But North Glade still harbors its own share of mysteries, as outside forces begin aligning against their tight-knit little group. Will Kayla stay long enough for one of her suitors to win her heart? Or will a more unconventional arrangement present itself... one where she gets to eat her cake and have it too?
THE BOYS WHO LOVED ME is a sweltering, stand-alone reverse harem love story filled with suspense, humor, new adult romance, and enough molten hot action to melt your kindle (author not responsible for molten kindles). HEA guaranteed!

In less than an hour of listening she already had sex with two of her exes. Only a day has passed since she he came back to her home town for her friend's funeral... Isn't she at least a bit sad? I'm not going to wait for the third guy... It is way too hard for me to like the heroine.

I liked this story. It has loss, love, courage and forgiveness. Miss Wolf did an outstanding job with regards to her character development and world building. It flows nicely and has a remarkable plot. I liked to say that all is well that ends well, but you have to get through heartache and a bit of insecurity,. This book is well thought put with the author taking us on a journey where you know its not all roses. A nice story to have on your shelf! I would definitely like to read more from this author!

Kayla is back home for a friend’s funeral and is forced to confront the very reasons she left. Her exes, Warren, Luke and Adrian. Which one will she choose or will another option show itself? Fast-paced reverse harem read with loads of drama, suspense and emotion. Great characters, with lots of depth, sizzling chemistry and an entertaining story. I liked it.

Okay so what we have here is a highly recommend author via fans of contemporary reverse harem romance as well as an Amazon Award winning Author. I think by this point I’ve read enough Authors and books in this genre to be honest, but not cruel and so the fun began with ‘the boys who loved me’ and a fun cover.
From an Award winner I would expect details to be... detailed and not vague. From start to finish this story lacks depth. The town could be any town and the guys any guys in any other book complete with “awkward silences” moments and the setup to intimate moments. Then again I suppose it’s easy to be an award winner when the bar is set incredibly low.
Another detail I look for in all writers is the tone of the book and do the characters behave logically. The answer to this in this book is heck no! The female is in mourning, her friend has died, yet she’s quick to jump in the sack with her Ex while going down memory lane and trying to hook up with the other guys. She’s not even going through the stages of grief, just occasionally she will mention her good friend so we know why she’s there getting dogs faster than a hot dog truck can give out.
Plot is also important. I couldn’t tell you what the plot is. There’s steam, but in the pornographic sense because that seems to be the only thing the writer liked writing. I would say this is a low budget porno on paper. The romance is MIA. The plot along with it and the guys get along fine, despite telling her to choose in the beginning.
Speaking of plot holes I’m positive all of these characters have been sexually active with other people because they mention this, yet at no point in time is a condom used and we don’t know if they are safe. It’s not until the epilogue we find out she was on the pill, but went off of it in the near future or three years later, but either way she’s still pregnant. All of their issues are also solved without much explanation. They go from having tons of money to almost no money, to tons of money again without explanation as to why there is such a lack of consistency.
This book was all over the place. Clearly this writer took a formula and threw some things together without spending much time on what research. I would call her a fast food writer, not an award winning. An Award winner would be a fancy 10 course meal with each plate stuffing your belly until you feel you might burst with satisfactory orgasms of flavor. -
This story has a little of everything, sweet romance, sexy overbearing and frustrating alpha males and a beautiful woman who has the right heart and spirit. Thoroughly enjoying and entertaining.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Kayla, Adrian, Luke, and Warren. When Kayla comes back for her friends funeral she meets up with each of her ex's at different times. Each of them mean to show her what they had was real and they want her back in their lives again. Her leaving wasn't just to see life past their small town it had to do with the men in her life fighting because of her. She just couldn't do it and so she ran away. The thing is while back she reflects with each of them men of how her last moments were with her friend that has just died. She wonders if she could have done more with her and for her. She wonders the same with each of the guys. What happens when the guys quit working against one another to get her back and start working together? Will this be a HEA or are there more secrets that could possibly drive them apart?
Another hit out of the park by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. -
I liked this story, but at the same time, I think Krista Wolf should've added a backstory that the readers could've physically read and experienced along with the characters, instead of just being told of what happened years ago. There was a disconnect there, at least for me.
And the fact that they immediately jumped into bed together after being apart for so long less that two days after the FMC comes back to her hometown was a little ridiculous to me.
And, I can't believe I'm saying this, but there was TOO much sex in this book. I get the guys all had amazing chemistry with the girl, but it felt like they had sex instead of talking about their emotions and feelings in depth. This part of the story made this foursome feel more surface level, not like they couldn't live without each other.
I skimmed the last 25% of the book, because the FMC decided she wanted to be with all three men and there was still a good chunk of the book left (like 100 pages or something) and I just wanted to move on to the next book.
I still absolutely LOVE Krista Wolf and will continue to read her books, but this one just didn't hit the mark for me, unfortunately.
Hopefully it will next time though. -
Second chances of the hearts
The Boys Who Loved Me by Krista Wolf is a very well written, exciting and entertaining reverse harem romance. Kayla, Warren, Luke and Adrian are a diverse group who clearly have an abundance of love between them that generates a deep connection between them all - from chemistry to the hearts to life.
The plot is exciting from all perspectives creating interesting backgrounds for these characters independently and as a group. There’s more than enough going on, in addition to the steamy group scenes to keep the reader continuously engaged in this story and the characters themselves. These characters share so much history, emotional depth and meaningful connection in this second chance, making this reverse harem romance well rounded.
Overall, a well written reverse harem with fantastic characters exploring a unique and thrilling second chance. The HEA is pretty spectacular as well!

Loved this reverse harem, loved, loved, loved it. Couldn’t put it down. There were ups and downs, laughter and tears. The plot was phenomenal and well executed in the writing. The characters grew over the course of the plot and by the end, their happiness was well received. There were a lot of naughty, naughty scenes; which I thank the author for. The story does start off on a sadder note but by the end you are cheered up; also wondering where you can sign up for one of the men.
I give this a five out of five. I couldn’t put the book down, of course I had to but I was very eager to get back to it when I was done with whatever I had been doing. The plot was sound and the characters were great. I know I’ll be reading this again in the future and will definitely be reading more works by this author.

A well written story, interesting unique brilliantly developed characters with amazingly strong chemistry and a scintillating storyline in which I was fully enthralled. Wow. Just wow! What a read! You hear reversed harem and you instantly have a film in your head. Don’t say anything that could be used against you now! You know it’s true! And this read will add a little bit more to your film... anyway, it’s a lot more than that. It’s the story of four lives. From childhood over High school cliché boyfriend/girlfriend to broken trust and friends becoming enemies, good girl, bad boy liaison and loss. So much loss. Loss of perspective, future, life.
But also hope. Hope of love, a family, a new future...
Even if there is a lot happening it’s clearly written in Mrs Wolfs unmistakable style and sometimes you even might have a good laugh (in between your red cheeks ).
I do recommend to read it in bed.. anyway, I did.
