Rating 4.0 stars
The one focuses solely on Lark Markus. What I mean by that is that he does a couple of solo missions. No a lot of action. Lark interacts with a seven headed monster and elves in this one. Overall a quick read. I enjoy the series though I always wish for more. More magic, more explanation of power, more interpersonal relationships. The one thing it does have that I can't complain about is an insanely OP MC. -
Buku keenam dalam siri Legend of the Arch Magus, bergenre high fantasi dgn elemen2 medieval, kingdom building, dan sword & sorcery.
I love Blackie🥺 He was the highlight in this volume for me. I mean who wouldn't want a 7 headed bloodthirsty puppy like dragon as a pet.🤣

Too short, hope the next one comes soon and is longer.

Once again an excellent book
I find myself once again captivated by the story. Sometimes turning in directions I’ve never expected. So often nowadays the stores have become so predictable it’s a boring to read them. I love the fact of how you think the story is going in one direction and then it just turns on its heels and you find yourself going somewhere else and you realize it wasn’t something the author just decided because there were many clues planted before the event. My only criticism of the book is that it’s too short. All of the books in the series I have found to be too short. And now I must wait patiently for the next book in the series. -
It's still my guilty pleasure to read this series. The writing has finally improved by much, however the OP Lark Marcus, living God is still a pain to read through.
I am glad that the word since hasn't appeared not once in this book. Just for that it gets three stars. The rest of the storyline is, how shall I say, weirdly lacking.
Still, Evander gets even more OP, we get a foreshadowing of dreadful things to come that he can take care of. And the city builder simulation going on is fine to read.
Albeit the pantomime villains, and ultra greedy merchants that stoop to no lows are still present, as are additional hurdles along the way for our golden hero to overcome with no effort. -
Great Book, Great Series
Lark is really coming into power. On his way to power and riches, he crosses a guardian monster that he must battle. Blackie, the monster, turns out to be an interesting character in himself. I like the action and humor. There are a couple of opportunities for romance, but he avoids any entanglements. This is one of my favorite series. I look forward to the next book. -
Wow. WOW! And WOW!!!
I really wish I had the money to buy your patronage but I’m a teacher with a family and money is tight. I should be able to make a one time donation though. Your books are uplifting, intense and mind boggling. I WANT more. You are on par with Dakota Krout, Eleron Kong, and one of my favorite unsung authors, Michael J Sullivan. Thanks for an awesome adventure! -
wooden
Fairly juvenile extremely simplistic tale. This author writes dialogue like I do, which is why I’m not an author. Wooden, repetitive dialogue and zero character development. Incredibly rapid development of his town, and hey now we get elves. Not really sure there is much more plot than “damn I’m a great magician”. Anyway I bought them all and they aren’t completely terrible. -
Great book, horrible price.
Around $4.25 including tax for about 2 hours of read time. Honestly there is nothing worse than reading a great book for a little over an hour and realizing you are already 80% through the book. A great story that I thoroughly enjoyed but I feel like I did not get my money’s worth. -
Another great one.
Liked the story though it went by too fast. Felt like I had just started reading it when it had already reached its end. Oh well, will eagerly await the next one in the this series. -
Good book as always
I really love this book. It doesn't only focus on one topic but it also have a lot of side track stories. Light comedy here and there, some will make you smile, some will make you laugh.
