Serena St. Claire went to sleep mad at her husband but when she woke up in the middle of the night, she walked naked right into an unseen man sitting there in her bedside chair. The next second his hand was over her mouth, and what he was there for soon included who and what was trapped in his big arms. By the time that she learned that the intruder was a mobster type of a debt collector, she was already hostage to her own sexual desires as the tricky smooth-talking stud of a man wanted to take care of several pressing points of interest at the same time. The more that she learned from the influential hard man who was pleasingly hard to try to deal with, the more that she liked him and the more that she was angry at her husband. The guy was there as a debt collector, and she gave him a first attempt at bribery in her master bathroom. But it was when her husband finally woke up and found the two of them in there that the real negotiations started. (this release is a modified and expanded and re-imagined version of a previously published story from the out of print literary estate of author Alvin Slater)

INTRUDER HOSTAGE: DEBT PAYMENTS (PAYBACK Book 1) Reviews

  • David Morris

I had read another book by this author and I was eager to get this one read.

I almost regretted this decision. I was put off by the first two chapters but I kept on. I am so glad I did. One of the rules put forth is a husband should never keep things from his wife. This guy did and it did not work out well for him. Where this book ended was just fine, but I read there is at least one more book to be in this series. I can hardly wait.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed this one. It was a fun, steamy read. And a new author for me. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
