It didn’t start out as the worst day of my life. But it was certainly in the top three.
The promotion I worked so hard for turned out not to be mine at all but handed to Nick Marks, some social media wunderkind. So, I got mad. I got drunk. Then made the epic decision to blow off a little steam with a wild night out, one night stand included.

But then, the almost worst day of my life became the worst night of my life (definitely number one) when my almost one night stand turned out to be the very same Nick Marks who’s going to steal my job in the morning.

And what’s worse? Nick isn’t satisfied with just one wild night, he wants them all.

Oh man, do I look forward to reading more of Hannah Cole’s work! This was a fabulous debut novel! It flowed SOOO well! The writing and tone were perfection. It was humorous, heartfelt, and just…real.

I was under the impression that this was an enemies to lovers romance and it wasn’t. That’s totally my fault; I got distracted by the sexy, gorgeous cover and didn’t fully read the blurb. But me misreading the blurb worked out in my favor because I was expecting alot of tension between the characters. Instead, I was introduced to two characters who couldn’t stay away from one another. Nick was a determined, lovestruck puddle of goo for Josie and she was a fluffy ball of nerves—unsuccesfully—fighting her attraction for Nick.

Ms. Cole hit me with a few whammies. I was cruising along, minding my business, enjoying the story and then BOOM! Drama, Drama, DRAMA! My emotions went through the gamut with these two characters; I was excited, frustrated, humored, sad, relieved. I laughed, (almost) cried, clutched my chest, got the big eyes, and had to cover my mouth in shock at times…all of that!

I was waiting and waiting for some background on Nick and for a while I thought I wasn't going to get it; but it snuck up on me. I was so glad to finally learn more about him, I couldn't be mad that the author made me wait so late into the story.

I loved and appreciated that Nick and Josie were vulnerable yet they were still strong-willed, fierce, and took no shit.

The pop culture references were fun! It added to the relatability of the story.

Oh! The sex scenes! They were hot! I think the depth of the story took me by surprise and kind of overwhelmed my memories of the smut level. But yeah, this was a hot one.😏

This was a very feel good read for me. It left me smiling and eager to share my praises. I cannot wait until Ms Cole hits us with Kira and Ollie’s story.

    All the drama

What a whammy! This book will have you in your feelings. You’ll want to knock some sense into the main characters but then, in the next moment, you’re crying for/with them.
I enjoyed this story of how Josephine and Nick met for what seemed like a 1 night stand, to co-workers and then shift to forever. There is A LOT that happens but most of the misunderstandings have to do with previous relationship baggage. I did appreciate that they were grown up enough to talk it out, even if some of the conversations were after the fact. A d let’s not forget the sex scenes, because holy moly and yes please!
I enjoyed Jo and Nick and I believed them as a couple. However, I can’t wait for Ollie and Kira’s book. It looks like it will be a doozy.

This is the authors first published book and I would say is was pretty good. Although I did sometimes find the story slow and.the sex scene okay overall I'm invested enough were I will be reading the next installment. This story follows Josie and Nick. Josie is the boss at her job well maybe not the boss cause she finds out they hired Nick Marks as the new VP of a company that she has put her all into. So what do you do when your day just turn horrible? You link up with your two best amigas and get super wasted. Well that night lead her down to the best night and best pleasure a women can ask for from a sexy as sin stranger. But before she can close the deal BOM the stranger turns out to be her new boss Nick Marks. On the otherside you have Nick who is so drawn to Josie that he just has to have her even though they work together and Josie doesn't necessarily make it easy for him. But hey what's that old saying the heart wants what the heart wants. I thought Josie was a very likeable character business savvy, vulnerable, intelligent, and no holds bar. The only thing I didn't like was in the beginning her going back.and forth with wanting Nick and judging herself harshly. With all that as good as the character of Josie was Nick was IT for me. Without spoiling plots his character had so much strength and yet pain and hurt. I loved that we got she his hurt little boy show up in is relationship with Josie definitely love a mans Alpha and ladies Nick is an Alpha but man had a journey that was very endearing as a reader.

    Super Hot 🔥

Loved Nick & Josie!! Wow, the steam was streamy & the story line great!! Glad they had the HEA but wished for a bit more closure with his family, her friends & the business part. This was my 1st read from Hannah Cole, but certainly not the last!

Almost cliche but saved at the very end by a few good decissions about who is to blame for a heartbreak and in what psyhological form to show it.
Typical story but smoothly and nicely done.
Maybe a little too sweet and naive... especially the depth of romantic feelings from his side is unrealistic.
Very nicely created strong female character.

    Worth the Read

    The pros!
I have read a lot of romance novels and this one definitely stood out from the crowd with its fully formed plot and well thought out characters. There wasn't one character that "got on my nerves, or I felt like acted in such an irrational manner that spiked a level of unbelievability. One problem I often find with the average romance novel is that they turn a strong woman lead into a plate of whimpy mashed potatoes when the man enters. Hannah managed to write a novel with 2 strong leads one woman and one man, but didn't have to sacrifice the woman's strength. Kuddos to her for that. The novel was funny with just the perfect balance or raunchy and storyline to make it believable that the two characters actually fell in love.

    The cons:
The entire story was so strong I can't imagine why the beginning of the novel was so weak... The meeting made no sense. She was EXTREMLY DRUNK.... he takes her to his grandma's house, with his siblings ... while she's extremely drunk, she pushes his grandma's hair back(weird). (Note: the grandma doesn't make any more appearances throughout the entire book after this weirdly configured scene). She sleeps it off at his house then goes back out to the club then back to his place, all in the same night????
Second con I was willing to over look because it wasn't that bad, but the author has a habit of leaving off the subject of sentences, which made the book a little less readable because it happened so much. for instance the author might write 'Belongs to me' vs 'She belongs to me' I'm fine with the first if it is to make a point, but it happened too much making dialog less believable.

    Good first story!

I was asked to review Wild as this was the authors first book ever written. Just from the synopsis I was interested. In the beginning, I was feeling the whole drunken Josie just being wild and free, but as she started to sober up and realize who Nick was I was getting annoyed😭. It was the back and forth and her not making a decision until later on about what their “relationship” consisted of. I was feeling bad for Nick until the secret meetings started. Don’t get me wrong, Nick was soo into Josie and fell quick for her. But that secret was scandalous. He wanted her to open up to him but never really wanted to do the same. Everyone was upset at Josie towards the end but honestly her reaction was warranted. She was lied to by omission and could have potential caused her to lose everything she build for herself. She told him time and time again how being Live’s VP was important to her. So walking away from him when she found out the truth was honestly the nicest thing she could have done. One thing I didn’t want her to do was beg chile. And what did my good sis do🙄. Yup you guessed it. Nick should have been on his knees groveling! I expecting nothing less. Nick never apologized for what he did. I was extremely annoyed by that. I found it hard to follow the characters as they spoke, formatting was a bit off. Also, the story was wordy to the point where the descriptions overpowered the dialogue. This is my first book by the author and I’ll give the author another chance when book 2 comes out.

    Wild

Wild is a sexy romance about Josie and Nick. There is a bit of an age gap and work place romance, but their attraction is undeniable. When Nick gets a promotion Josie deserves, she deals with her disappointment by hooking up with her girlfriends for drinks and meets a sexy stranger Josie just goes with it until she discovers her sexy stranger is the Nick who got her promotion! Josie tries to resist her attraction to Nick, but her efforts are futile because Nick is determined to have her. Josie and Nick have some baggage they need to let go and walls that must crumble and a big secret Nick is holding threatens their happily ever after. I liked the story and I could feel Josie and Nick’s attraction hot off the pages and for that I give this book five stars. There are a few things that would make the book better. I feel like the author did not do a good job of describing Nick. I just could not create a picture of him in my mind beyond him being tall and tan and having tattoos on his arms. I like the dual points of view but I would have liked if the points of view would have started with new chapter. In the beginning it just flipped back and forth between Josie and Nick. I enjoyed this book and I think the author did a good job for a first novel and put enough in to make me curious about the other characters.

I read the synopsis of this book several times before I decided to finally download it. I must advise us, readers, on the importance of REVIEWS. I downloaded this book because of the number of stars it had received from its readers. I thought the reviews were from the author's friends and family that wanted to encourage her. After reading the book, none of that matters.

I wanted more of Nick. Nick was young, sexy, determined, and said all the right things at the right and wrong times. Then he was a foster child cause of 9/11. I was a complete sucker for him. Yes, he was broken and had a mountain of luggage. Yet, he was a whole person. His character was real and relatable minus being nasty rich. He cried. He gave crying orgasms. What more would a woman need?

Josie was a BA. She commanded respect in her career. She was all alpha and Nick respected that. I loved how they worked well together. She was never annoying to me except with those damn rules.

This was the first book I read from this author. I loved it and I will look forward to her next work.

OH, and I wanted more of the Grandma!

    Happy reading!

    4.5 almost perfect stars....

The characters were interesting and captured well. The plot was compelling and moved right along at an excellent pace.
Even the dialogue was legitimately grown up and sexy- without veering into *this could get someone arrested in real life* territory (not that there's a problem with that in fiction- but some of their conversations actually gave me chills).
While there were a couple of errors in editing, they were few and far in between- and not large enough to take you outside of the scene.
My only beef was the end, and I acknowledge that said beef was a personal one- not one to miff other potential readers. All in all, this one definitely exceeded my expectations and will do the same for you.
    Promise.

This one was wild indeed. So this was an unplanned read but a page turner. My first book by this author.

    I devoured this story!

Young Tech Entrepreneur falls for older woman at the company merger he just bought. Suddenly disrupted from her role while anticipating a promotion Josie finds herself out for a night to drink her sorrows away when she meets HIM.

Nick was the new kid on the block hired to be Josie's new boss and happens to be the guy she pursues to quench her one night of forgetting. The chemistry between these two were real and so thick. With their individual baggage they pursue a relationship that seems impossible but some how worked itself out. Not without the drama.

    Happy Reading!

This novel calls to mind Desree’s song, “Kissing You.” Nick and Josie glow and shine and steam and chill. I experienced a gamut of emotions including chuffs of unexpected chuckles, shock and dismay, clutching my pearls, and longing sighs...Hannah Cole’s writing is so keen that my own heartaches and heartbreaks throbbed anew. I actually had to pause several times and reflect. From intro to conclusion, this one right here is worth the price of admission and not just in dollars and cents.
