Thank you Urbane Publications and Christopher Lowery for the ARC of the book.
It's the first book that I ever read by this author and I'm sure it's not going to be the last.
This is the 4th book in The African Diamond Series, and although you can read as a standalone, I thought that if I had read the other 3 books before it would complement and fill some blanks about certain events and characters.
I thought it was a fast paced book. As a Portuguese I loved the Carnation Revolution reference.
I highly recommend this book! -
Ahh I loved this book. I really connected with the story and the characters.
At first I was a little taken back by the size of the book (488 pages) as I don't tend to read such big books, but I actually flew through it. It was such an easy and enjoyable read.
I loved how all the characters, their lives and stories linked up together and all blend into one.
I loved the short chapters and how it moved from one character to the other.
I'll definitely be keeping this book and reread at some point. -
This book is jam packed at just under 500 pages but never once loses it pace which is aided by the short chapters.
The timeline in the book is from May 2019 - jan 20 and it certainly covers a lot of action along the way with the 2 main female protagonists leading the way with the storyline: Esther heading a scam involving Diamonds and Jenny who is trying to track down and reclaim the Diamonds. Insider dealings, money laundering, auction houses, politics and not forgetting the Diamonds are all written about with such attention to detail by the author. There are lots of other characters along the way as the book travels through Switzerland, Spain and London along the way. The storyline is full of intrigue suspense and action which never stops and made one gripping read.
This book follows on from the African Diamonds Trilogy: (Angolan Clan, Rwandan Hostage, Dark Web) and although some references made to the history of the Diamonds which I guess must be central to the other books this certainly did not spoil the read (it just makes me want to read the earlier books even more)
This is an exciting clever read which you can not do lightly. Put your phone away, turn off the TV as this book needs your full attention due to the in-depth detail but you won’t be disappointed. A 5 star ⭐️ read I will certainly be reading the other books by the author. -
Triple Jeopardy is The 4th book in The African Diamond Series by Christopher Lowery.
Jenny Bishop and her team are the returning protagonists that feature in a story rich in politics and intrigue, stock markets, fraud, money and Diamonds, this is a thoroughly engaging and enthralling thriller that whips through at a tremendous pace.
With lots of characters, good and bad, you really get drawn into this one.
Weighing in at close to 500 pages, it felt a daunting read until you get going and realise you are soon flying through the pages as you whiz from London to Geneva and Zurich.
Having not read any of the previous books there is always a worry that you might have missed out but Lowery pens his thriller perfectly for new readers like me and returning fans as you are never bogged down with passed events even though they are alluded to throughout this entertaining international feeling crime romp.
Fun, inviting and extremely entertaining, this is an extensively researched international thriller full of adrenaline and action and a highly recommended read.

This is my first Christopher Lowery book and must admit that I'm thoroughly hooked.
This is an incredibly fast paced thriller with riveting narrative. There are primarily three storylines and all three intriguingly mingle before long, keeping the readers on the edge until the very last page.
A great many characters vie for attention but most of them are flat. However, there's enough details for the readers to root for a particular favourite.
This book is a sequel belonging to the African Diamonds Trilogy but I've read it as a standalone without any issues. All in all, 488 pages might appear overwhelming but Triple Jeopardy has an enticing quality of swallowing the readers into its dramatic storyverse.
Recommended to all thriller lovers! -
This is a sequel to the African Diamonds trilogy by the same author and can be read as a standalone novel, though the other books would give done relevant background. The same characters are back an international thriller revolving around several diamond that had been in the heroine, Jenny Bishop's possession. A plot is hatched by one of her arch enemies and the thrills and spills start. A major sub plot arises from this same enemy's partner's part in a major investment company whose performance is affected by the vaguaries of the stock market as well as other factors which I won't reveal. It's quite a long road at nearly 500 pages but I found I was hooked from start to finish.

This book follows on from the African Diamonds Trilogy, however if, like me, you have not yet read these then not to worry. This book can be read as a standalone, and while it does contain characters from the first three books, it focuses on a whole new story, so it is not necessary to have read them. It is a hefty book at 496 pages, but the chapters are fairly short, and it was easy and quick to read. The story starts with a bang and then backtracks to explain the events that lead up to the first chapter. It is a gripping read with a great plot and lots of intrigue.
Thank you to Love Book Tours and Urbane for gifting me a copy in exchange for an honest review. -
This was an easy and enjoyable thriller. Although its a bit of a beast of a book, it has short chapters and I flew through it.
I enjoyed the storyline and was very intrigued to find out how it all ended for each character even if I didn't always understand the finer details of things for example investments or how they were able to take valuables from peoples storage lockers. This book does fine as a stand alone but I do think relevant background from the other books would have been useful.
Overall, a fast paced thriller with a plot that keeps you hooked. -
A really good read with a great plotline, it is a chunky monkey of a book but don’t let that put you off – there are plenty of twists and turns to keep you hooked throughout. I hadn’t read the other books in the series but this doesn’t affect the reader’s enjoyment. I liked how all the different characters lives joined together as I felt that it gave a good depth to the story. I would definitely read more from the author in the future

Just finished Triple Jeopardy and wow, twisty, gripping and fast paced, loved it ! Great plot line, shady characters and kept me guessing.

A fast paced, international crime caper - with old scores to be settled, dodgy diamonds, dodgier characters and lots and lots going on. This is the epitome of a page turner!
