Daddy Next-Door Reviews

A hot read, but her other books I have read seemed to just have more. There is a pretty big age gap but that didn’t bother me because she was so the aggressor. It was very short and sweet.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. -
Karla has had a crush on neighbor Nick for years. Nick is as old as her father but sexier. He asks for help with his social medial accounts. She seduces him but he turns her down. He wants to know if she really wants. He'll wait for her to give him a second chance. Will she?
I was okay with this story. There were some places where proofreading and logistics checking should have been checked. Nick and Karla were okay as a couple. I could not feel any chemistry between them, only a need for sex. She was looking for experience. He was looking for youth.
A quick read when you only have a short time to read. -
Brutal ~
I read the title to this book, so I thought I had an idea of what it was about. Rough is one thing, brutal is another, especially for a first time. Everything else was written well and extremely descriptive. -
Pacing was off. The author constantly switched point of views mid paragraph and that made it super confusing. One second the H debated removing a gag and decides against it. But yet the very next sentence the h is talking. No plot but this can be considered a slow burn, I guess.

It took a long time to get through this book as it was not as interesting as I though it was going to be.
