Elle's life seems like one joke after the next.

Blindsided by a cheating husband? Check.
Ex-friend knocked up by said husband? Check.
Moving herself and two kids into a home willed to her by her estranged father? Check.
Disease infested fence separating her home from her neighbor's? Check.

That's the first thing to go. If only the gorgeous neighbor didn't rile her up every chance he gets and now with the fence gone she suddenly finds herself facing a new joke - that stupid heart of hers racing whenever he's close.

But one stolen kiss leads to a number of stolen nights leaving Elle with the choice of ending the fling before she gets hurt or checking another box off her "jokes on me" list - heartbreak.

Note: I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Elle's life was a total mess. Not even Bridget Jones's diary could rival it. Divorced, betrayed and a single mom with property from her father, a man she was never close to, and to top it all off, a surly neighbour who is way too attractive for her hormones, is definitely a cruel way to play, even for fate.

This should've been a movie, honestly these much incidents in an entire book, wow. I was left with my most of my time reading this book with my jaw left open.

I mean yes, these problems are normal, but it just seems like everyone is out to betray her, feels like a whole pretty little liars thing going on.

But despite all her problems, she can't ignore what's going on between her and the neighbour. Which leaves a lot to think about.

But luckily with enough time, support and change of heart, they all realise they are meant to be. And with exceptional writing, this is proven right from the start.

An enjoyable novel, and I hope to continue reading more by Harless.

    Until the next read,

This was an amazing story!! It may very well be my favorite of this author!! It was so full of sweet but with the perfect amount of heat to keep things interesting. I found it very difficult to put down.

This book was given to me at my request and I provided this review voluntarily

This book was phenomenal! Elle and Jackson are characters I would love to be friends with. Who knew tearing down a fence would lead to that! Noah and Kennedy ate the sweetest, most well behave kids that I know, and I've got two of my own. This is another winner from Renee!

Stolen Nights is my first read by Renee Harless and it will not be my last.

Elle has just moved after discovering her husband was having a baby with her best friend. She is trying to pick up the pieces of her life and move forward with her life. What she doesn’t plan on is her neighbor who acts like a jerk.

Jackson can’t believe his new neighbor is as infuriating as she is. He can’t deny the explosive chemistry between the two.

I loved the journey of Jackson and Elle and I found myself easily lost in the story. I recommend Stolen Nights.

    **3.5 Stars**

Elle's life has gone to hell in a hand basket! She bumps into her husband (Dan) and best friend (Sky), arm in arm, walking out of the gynecologist office. To add insult to injury, at the divorce mediation Dan wants everything Elle owns. Everything except their two young children.

Elle is starting all over again. Banking on her skills as a talented baker and the house left to her by her father. A man she never knew. Then she meets her new neighbor. He's a huge jerk but she can't help the butterflies every single time their tempers tangle.

Jackson is a local businessman with strong family ties. He's successful, sexy as hell and has no interest in any sort of baggage. No strings sex with a ready stream of willing women is just how he likes it. Until his new neighbor moves in. Her in your face personality along with killer legs has got him feeling things he never thought he would.

These two argue about everything! Parking, fences, kids, dogs...then Jackson steps up during an emergency. That event changes it all for both of them.

Elle's MIA dad felt like a loose end to me. So did the storyline aspect with her ex-husband. However, Stolen Nights was cute, sexy and entertaining. A quick read that gives you what you want when you're not in the mood for something heavy.

All that that being said - bring on the story of what went on between Sara and Cooper. You know what they say, where there is smoke, there is fire.

"I have two conditions. First, I want to think about it, okay? Maybe we can try and keep it to ourselves because I don't want to get the kids attached or anything if we mess it up."
    "Sounds reasonable."
"And second, how many condoms did you bring?"

You know the saying "good fences, make good neighbors"? Well, in this case, no fence made steamy neighbors! Holy Hannah, these two were like fireworks - both the kind that burn you and the kind that make you look in wonder and say "Oooooh, Aaaaah"!

Jackson Divers has a new neighbor. She's a ball buster. A thorn in his side. She does nothing but push his buttons and start an argument every chance she gets. And she's sexy as hell. He shouldn't want her. He's not interested in a relationship, let alone a ready-made family. But he just can't help himself. After coming to her rescue, and seeking repayment in the form of one kiss, he can't hold the fire inside any longer. She took down the fence separating their houses, but can he take down the fence around his heart and take a chance? Is what he never thought he wanted, be the one thing he can't live without?

Elle Knight has been through the ringer. Not only was her ex-husband cheating on her with her best friend, but now that ex-friend is having his baby. As if that isn't bad enough, now she has to move herself and her kids to a new house that needs some TLC. Add to that the tall, sexy, tattooed neighbor that makes her irritable, angry, frustrated, and.... aroused. Him and his stupid fence. She's had enough to deal with - her ex, her business, the house - the last thing she needs is a boorish yet delicious neighbor. Or, maybe that's exactly what she needs. Maybe taking down that fence started them off on the wrong foot. But maybe, taking it down was the best thing that ever happened to her.

I absolutely loved the banter between these two. Each one needing to have the last, and the most stinging word. As quoted in Hamlet, "the lady doth protest too much, me thinks". Elle tries her darndest to keep her distance, calling him every name in the book and denying her attraction. The two of them reminded me of Iris and Gilbert in The Lady Vanishes when Iris says "You're the most contemptible person I've ever met in all my life!" and Gilbert replies "Confidentially, I think you're a bit of a stinker, too." All that friction creates one heck of a fire!!

I loved Jackson. I could tell right away that below that tough guy look, there was a teddy bear. And every girl needs a teddy. Loved it!

Elle Sanderson is getting divorced from Dan and is blown away by how much she has to give up yet she is grateful she is able to keep their children, Noah and Kennady. When Elle inherits a house from her father she is hopeful that her luck is about to turn around but when she meets her jerk of a neighbor she knows her bad luck remains.
Jackson Divers is a businessman who owns a gym and a landscape business and is a little bit of a ladies man. Yet nothing prepares him for the storm that rolls in with his new next door neighbor and the fact that his fence has all of a sudden disappeared for a playset.
But as Jackson and Elle begin to communicate through their sarcastic comments a “truce” is somewhat called and when Elle needs Jackson’s help he is there for her. Jackson is not ready for a relationship and is Elle prepared for something convenient but will happen if one wants a little more?
This was such a great book and I loved how it progressed! As a single mom there were so many parts that hit home with me and I loved that!
I thought Elle was such a great character and it really hit home with how much she had to give up in order to keep her kids with her. She was such a phenomenal mom and I hated every time she had to defend herself or her parenting skills. I loved her sass and how she never backed down from Jackson when she believed she was right.
Jackson started off as such a jerk but I loved watching him change, especially with how he was there for Noah and Kennady when there were a few times bad things could have happened. I was really surprised at what he did for Elle after the hospital incident and my opinion did a complete 360!! I was still a little disappointed in his “outlook” on relationships but I hoped everything would change!
Elle and Jackson were so hot together and I loved how he was really able to bring a confidence back to Elle with how he treated her and worshipped her. It was so awesome and inspiring!
Dan was the absolute worst and I can’t believe everything he pulled from start to finish!!
The end was absolutely awesome and my heart was bursting at the seams!!
I can’t wait for more from this author! - By Rebecca

New Favorite by Renee Harless hands down!

I was really enjoying the Coming to Carson series by Miss Harless but she has definitely upped her game with Stolen Nights and I find myself wanting to chain her to her computer so she has no choice but to write the next book as fast as possible!

So many favorite elements to this story.

First, I love stories that include kids...especially when they are hungry for a father figure. True, these kids have a father...but I found him lacking...selfish...and not really caring about his family. Enter Jackson. Perpetual bachelor...oddly drawn to Elle's kids. Watching this dynamic unfold is one of my favorite things and I was not disappointed in this one.

Second, Elle loathed Jackson from the start and he her, so anytime I can see the tides changing and the characters developing feelings despite that first impression and circumstance...also a fave.

Thirdly, they have to keep everything on the DL. Sneaking around, trying to be nonchalant about their developing feelings, fighting it so HARD! GAH!

Also to note, I truly fell in love with ALL of the characters...except the dad. But Cooper and Sara and Jackson's parents and the littles, Kennedy and Noah, sigh.

This was a total win for me.

Assuming Cooper is the leading man in the next book in this series, then I can just bet it will be a scorcher! Bring it on Harless!

Stolen Nights is getting 5 fabulous stars!

Another amazing story from Ms. Harless. I have to admit I am a fan of her work. Her writing style always leaves me smiling and feeling good when I reach the end and Stolen Nights was no different. The characters are so down to earth that they will feel like family as you read along. The story is told is such a way that you will be able to feel everything the characters are feeling and going through, not to mention the heartfelt storyline. Simply put a Fantastic read.

When Elle’s life is torn apart by a nasty divorce, she is forced to move into a home her estranged father left to her upon his death. Too bad that home comes with a nasty neighbor that’s too sexy and ill-tempered for his own good. A nasty neighbor that gets on Elle’s last nerve, too bad his sex appeal keeps her awake at night. As for Jackson (the nasty neighbor), he really isn’t a bad guy, he and Elle just got off to a bad start but once it started the crazy incidents just kept happening. Jackson is attracted to his crazy neighbor but that scares the crap.

What happens when two people who clearly have issues being in the same space together, can’t seem to keep the attraction from growing? Can these two ever even carry on a normal conversation? Life around these two is fun to watch yet at the same time they pull your heartstrings in every direction. Fantastic read that I highly recommend grabbing up ASAP, you won’t be sorry you did. 2 Huge Thumbs Up!!

Talk about a freaking sweet and hot read! Stolen Nights passed the realm of sweetness with Elle and Jackson! I'm not sure what's better than sweet but that's what they are! I connected so much with Elle. After a nasty divorce battle and finding out her husband wants nothing to do with their kids Elle is worn down. She inherits a house and decided this will be their fresh start. The house comes with an @$$hole neighbor though. A very hot @$$hole neighbor. Jackson will melt the panties right off of you! He's sexy, sweet, and loving. Neither Elle or Jackson are ready for a relationship, but an uneasy friendship develops and so does a friend's with benefits relationship.

Jackson is so great with Elle's two kids, you actually see him falling in love with them during every interaction. He's not ready for it, but he also can't help it. Elle was so hurt by her ex, but she's so strong and while her feelings for Jackson scare her, she doesn't hide them. I fell so in love with Elle and her kids. The love she has for them shines off the pages. Same for Jackson. He just exudes love.

Renee Harless is new to me, but not for very long! I plan on gobbling up her books that cause a much needed happiness boost!

Ok everyone needs to read this book! I read it in one sitting three and half hours and up way past my bedtime.
Stolen Nights is about Elle who is struggling with life who is recently divorced, an ex who doesn't care about their children Kennedy and Noah. She moved into a house and her neighbor Jackson is an idiot but as he gets to know them he can't stop thinking about protecting them.
The sparks of chemistry between Elle and Jackson -oh my! Let's not forget the sizzling sex scenes-going to need a fan or cold shower.
I really enjoyed reading about the two kids, they are such well mannered kids. I kept saying "awe"

"Like it was a fairy tale. Like the world stopped. Time stood still."
"But in this perfect, beautiful moment as the world swirls around us, all I feel is.. love, and that is terrifying in and of itself."

Here is hoping that supporting characters get there books

If I could, this would be rated more than 5 stars.
If you believe that love can happen again I highly recommend this book!!

Stolen Nights by Renee Harless was a nice surprise! A woman starting over after a divorce while her ex-husband and ex-best friend are also starting over, together and on top of that, she has a new, sexy and irritating neighbor.

Elle is looking to start over after the struggling with so much going on and changing in her life. Not only this, but is also moving to a new home that needs work. Her new neighbor seems to love riling her up as much and as often as he can. The man can drive her crazy and on top of that, he is sexy and knows it. Definitely the last thing she needed.

Jackson and Elle had great chemistry and I loved their back and forth. He is the last thing Elle needs, or is he just what she needs? It was so much fun watching them interact. These two were so sweet together and though I loved their banter, I also loved seeing them finally fall as well. I loved both Elle and Jackson, but also her kids Noah and Kennedy. Great characters and story! I look forward to reading more from this author!

This book is a standalone by Renee Harless. I want to thank Renee so much for giving me the opportunity by being her beta reader this time, hope I helped you a lot, girl!

Elle is getting divorced and have two kids. She wanna live with them and don’t want to think about her ex-husband who betrayed her with her best friend. By now, she didn’t wanted to get involved in a relationship, even with her new neighbour.

Jackson is a business man and he has a new neighbour, but he didn't know that she's hot enough to make him falling in love. He wants Elle.

Renee once again wrote a masterpiece, I mean, I can't stop reading her books, all stories that she tells makes you fall in love with new characters, new novels. Because, even sounding cliché, she has a power to make different things in the development of her story. Being her beta for the first time was awesome, I was able to help her with this story. I hope I can help more in the future!

Elle and Jackson are two characters that you are not sure if they can be friends or even neighbors at the start of this book. Elle has just gotten a divorce and lost her best friend at the same time, so she takes her two children and moves to a place left to her by her grandfather that she really didn't know well. The place is nice but she isn't to positive about her neighbor Jackson. Jackson has a big problem with Elle when they first move in, but within a week or so things seem to change and there are stolen nights between the two. This book draws you and you can't help but root for these two people to be able to find more than just stolen nights together. I hope that you pick up a copy of this book and give these characters a chance. Renee Harless is a wonderful writer and I recommend her as an author for you to read and get to know more of her books.

Amazing book. Characters are clear and defined. This takes you on a journey between a divorcee who had a really nasty divorce and her two adorable kids who try to get back their lives as much as she can. In comes her asshole neighbor that is so adorable and he just makes you want to jump his bones every chance that you can. This story will be a HEA no cliffhangers. Incredible story. I inhailed in one sitting. You wont want to put this book down trust me. There is romance, tragedy, suspense, and some cute and funny moments that will leave you hooked. There is some supporting characters who you will want to learn more about as well. Take a chance on this book. You won't regret this book. This can be read as a standalone and is remarkable.

    **3.5 stars**

Very enjoyable read and it was great to read a story with a 'real' feel to it. A newly divorced woman with 2 adorably sweet kids is starting all over and wavers between confident and strong and sad and defeated. Loved the banter and the flow of the story - kept it interesting and was totally rooting for these two to make a success of their chemistry. I was SOOOO close to going with a 4 star rating but for me there were just a few things missing in the story - I wanted more detail about a few story threads and I really wanted more detail about how Jackson went from man whore to all about Elle and fully into relationship mode. There were just places that it felt rushed and like there were things missing that would have really added to the story.

All things said though I still enjoyed this read and would recommend for a sweet quicker read that will leave you with a smile on your face.

Stolen Nights was the perfect mixture of hate to love, feel good, make you smile & swoon a bit type of book. You will fall in love with Elle & Jackson immediately😍 . The push and pull between these two was electric and had me rooting for them from page one. Such an awesome new book world that Renee Harless has created & I've definitely got my fingers crossed for a second book...hint hint wink wink Sarah & Cooper 😉

Sometimes (at least for me) I need to read a book that makes you feel good, makes you smile and believe in the happily ever after without raising my blood pressure and launching my kindle across the room. Stolen Night is that book; Do your ❤️ a favor and give it a read...💋

    Amazing!

I received an ARC for an honest review!

Elle life was turned upside down after her divorce. Raising two small children on her own. She lives next door to Jackson who acts like a real jerk but deep down turns out to care.
They have chemistry between them, Sparks fly. They were great together.
Her children are her world, Kennedy and Noah.
The other Characters in the book are great too. I hope Sarah and Cooper get a book of their own (who Knows).
    I really liked Jacksons parents.
This book made you believe you could fall in love again!
    The sex scenes were HOT!
I just wish it was a little longer, it was a quick read.
    I still LOVED it!
    Great Job Renee!

I enjoyed reading Stolen Nights by Renee Harless. It was a nice, well written story. Elle's life was turned upside down with her divorce and she was facing raising two children on her own. She moves into a house she inherited from a father she did not know, next to Jackson a real jerk of a neighbor. I enjoyed this book as with all previous books I've read by Renee Harless. I do feel it could have provided some more detail in certain areas such as the prowler and the need for a security system, more of a background story of Elle's father and why she never knew him to name a few. All in all, I did enjoy this book and recommend it for when you need that feel good read.

This is such a fun story! I love the squabbling between Elle and Jackson. They have a wonderful chemistry. I love Elle's kids. They are very sweet. Just when you think they are over the top polite they say something that is full of mischief. Of course, there needs to be someone you can hate. That role is filled by Elle's Ex-husband. He has very little to redeem in his character.

Connor and Sara have an awesome chemistry too. There is a mystery hiding there. I hope they get their own book.

I really enjoyed this book I look forward to more books in this series.

A sweet and heartfelt insta-hate/love romance. The characters are very well written and have a fantastic chemistry together. The writer has a way of making you smile while reading this, and you don’t even realize you are doing it until someone points it out. My youngest daughter kept asking me, “mom, why do you keep smiling out of the blue?” I’d have to look up and tell her I didn’t realize I was, and that it was just good writing, in a good story. I hope you take a chance on it and enjoy it as much as I did.

    Stolen Nights by Renee Harless

Elle is starting over again after her divorce from her husband who was cheating on her with her best friend.

Jackson is her cocky neighbour who likes to press all her buttons and get her livid.

Elle doesn't back down though and gives as good as she gets.

This is their story with some twists and turns. The book is gripping and kept me reading it from start to finish in one go.

    Well done Renee, a winner.

  • Crystal Jimenez

This book was great. Elle just went through a hard time in her life, and then gets thrown next door to man that drives her crazy. Elle and Jackson's back and forth is the best. But Elle doesn't want her kids to get attached, just in case it doesn't work out. She already has an ex husband who doesn't want her kids, she doesn't need another man like that in her life.
I can't say enough good things about this book, just read it for yourself, and you will love it too.
