Her Husband's Killer Reviews

The duo is back and how. Inspector Jui Roy and SI Das are back solving another murder mystery which promises to be equally challenging.

Samar Singh a businessman is murdered at his home and suddenly all hell break loose. His wife Mandira Mitra finds herself in the midst of all this and as a prime suspect. Thanks to her whirlwind ways of life and her affairs all over she finds the noose tightening around her neck.

But was Samar Singh a simple and nice guy? What was he hiding? Why was he hated so much that he was murdered ruthlessly? Read the book to find out.

An effective narration and development of characters. I loved the way the story paces. The 100 something page book covers the story very beautifully. Without much of unwanted characters or explanations.

    Totally recommended

I like Chitrangda Mukherjee books on Inspector Jui. I will rate this 3.5. This one was interesting though not as fleshed out as the Three Men and A Strange Murder. I would really like to read more about the characters as well. However, the Indian-ness of the setting and people as well as the slickness of the story is quite an enjoyable reading experience. The mystery is good but can be better.
Just a couple of observations - there are editing-related errors in the book as well the font size being unequal in places. Also, the titles of the books can be more interesting.

This book doesn’t let you stop once you are on it. Jui Roy along with her deputy SI Das is trying to solve the murder of a man who was killed in his home.

The investigation begins with Mandira, the wife of the victim giving details of the attack.
Then the suspects emerge. You have to read the rest to find out what happens next.

It’s a short book and the plot is really interesting and I finished the book over a few hours.

As a thriller lover, I must say the tale was gripping.
As the story started, right from the first there the story did not lag, it had wonderful twist and turns in every chapter. The duo, Inspector Jui Roy and SI Das had again taken up a hard case to solve. But the character, who was killed, Samar Singh, was he truly a nice guy?
That's for you to read and find out...

Just read it, you will definitely not be disappointed.

    Gripping

Jui Roy and SI Das is back again with an amazing successful thriller.

The murder of Samar Singh a business man from kumaon in presence of his wife at his own house. A robbery which turned murderous or a murder formed as robbery????

Close relationship, mistrust, affairs or the lost interest, it can be anything for a happily marriage life to turn sore.

Good naration, brilliant plot, twists are intresting and end is rocking.

The story of a husband being killed in front of his wife is taken to a new level with the way the author chooses to narrate the story focusing on the human side of each character and even that of the killer’s.

    Do read.

Very short without any much of the suspense or thrill.
