Emmaline Kensington was confirmed to have ADHD. Add to that, she was adopted but considered a humiliation to her high fluent father and mother who also have a more attractive bio-daughter to dote on.
Carrie, Emmaline’s friend, gives Emmaline a DNA ancestry kit for her birthday, and then the two of them journey to Charleston SC to meet Belle, Emmaline’s bio grandmother.
Belle, who has been searching for her long-lost relative dies, and surprisingly, Emma inherits an historic house, as well as meets the man who is the estates care taker.
Not all that shines is gold though for earlier problems shadow Emmaline concerning an unforeseen disruption that affects her nuptial day.
Full of struggles, fortitude, faith, hope, love, and romance, Divine Legacy of Love by Tori Hines is a great read to cuddle up with along with a blanket and cup of tea on a rainy day. -
Excellent Christian-based sweet and clean novel of a young adopted woman in an extremely restrictive home environment who must overcome ADHD to establish her independence. With the help of her friend, she finds her biological grandmother which changes her future. Involved is the mystery of her adopted dad's suspicious death while unraveling her own past. Gaining enough confidence through the help of others, she realizes she must come to love herself first in order of feeling worthy enough of accepting love from others.
