The Seeking Integrity Going Deeper Workbook was created for use in conjunction with our six-week Going Deeper online workgroup (found seekingintegrity.com/workgroups-and-l...). Each week of the online workgroup has a corresponding week in this workbook, with exercises designed to help you apply the information and conversation that occurs in online classes to your own life, recovery, and process of healing. That is this book’s best and highest use.
It is our hope that this book will not be utilized as a standalone resource. Again, it is intended to be used in conjunction with Seeking Integrity’s Going Deeper online workgroup. That said, your therapist or a knowledgeable sponsor might choose to lead you through this material. That is perfectly acceptable. The one thing we don’t recommend is simply purchasing this book and trying to get well on your own, without external input. In our experience, people with Inner Child issues have little hope of healing until they reach out for assistance and support from knowledgeable others.
