Uniform Sex: Erotic Stories of Women in Service Reviews
-
Uniforms, there's just something appealing about them. I've often been mesmerized by the undulating buttocks of delivery women toting large boxes, by the thighs of office ladies straining against their snug skirts, by the well-groomed hands of cops. Naturally, a collection of stories about them promises to be hot.
The power of images presented, the roles implied, the respect for the clothing donned, and uniform versus the person inside are some of the themes explored in these 19 stories of lesbian erotica. Please be forewarned that—while all of these stories contain a sexual element, stuff to do with uniforms, and are well written—this is not a one-handed read. Parts certainly are, but this is a book more worth reading for literary merit than masturbatory fantasy fodder—not to say that you won't find some of the latter as well.
Ellen Golden explores the affection and yearning of two schoolgirls as their desires begin to awaken in, Plaid Skirt, White Shirt. I could almost hear the marching band and taste the polyester in Drumbeat,
Cecilia Tan's story of lust between a majorette and a tuba player. E.D. Kaufman takes a glimpse in High Pressure, at a firefighter's lover's creative views of the uses of her uniform. Suzanne Corson takes a sweet, yet sexy, look at a candy striper, her rules, and the gorgeous naked woman straining to obey in, Recuperation.
Nicole Foster tells a fun tale of sex, revenge, and an arrogant talk show host who learns an important lesson about judging others in, Butch Talk. Speaking of judgment, Felicia Von Bot's story, Judge Benko's Decision, provides humor, comic lampooning of lesbian culture, and poses both figurative and literal questions about what lies beneath the robe. In
Thomas S. Roche's extremely erotic, SEAL Team Bravo, a story is not asked—but yet told about members of an all female SEAL team.
While I had expected more raw, rough sex between women in and out of uniform, more psychological and sexual tension, and less romantic bittersweet nostalgia, this is still a book worth reading. Chances are that you'll be doing some rereading as well. I feel that it is my duty to mention this so that you can be prepared.
