If H.P. Lovecraft and H.R. Giger were to produce a book together and still have it reflect our current times--this would be the result. Exquisite dark poetry is written to perfection by Chris McAuley and Jeffrey Oliver and is combined with the bizarre and haunting illustrations of Dan Verkys and the result is...something truly special. If you are a fan of Poe and Clive Barker this collection is a must-read for you. I give it my highest recommendation. The book blew me away and I have read it again several times and found even more depth and dread upon further readings. Romantic, surreal, visionary, disturbing, and profound.
