Now that I know what Dracula has planned for me, the pressure is on. Failure is hardly an option... At the same time, if I'm supposed to one day preside over the Wallachian Vampires, how am I going to prove myself to those that are centuries older than me? I have to get stronger, be smarter. I have to succeed. And yet, I have to find my own way. Not theirs.
Meanwhile, my rivals in House Wolf seem likely to call off our truce at any moment. Actually, that's the least of my worries. It turns out that there are legendary beings from other worlds trying to steal the Netherveil away from Dracula—and it's going to be our job as students to help defend it.
While that's all going on, I have field trips, school tournaments, and my relationships with my beautiful housemates to maintain. So far so good, but how will they take it when I let them know that Mrs. Drake wants to join the fold?
Content Warning: Nosferatu Academy contains themes that are common in dark fantasy, including intense scenes of violence, physical intimacy, and light horror elements. But this is NOT a horror novel. It is a humorous fantasy story with an ambitious, dominant male lead. Just be warned: as a vampire novel, there is a bit of blood here and there.

Virgil is a genius
I absolutely loved book two of this series… first off I love Nika so much… the way she keeps saying godmommy and raising her hand like a sweet Innocent child is hilarious…. Also, Rhapsody is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I really love her dry humor and how everything revolves around jealousy and how Barrett treats her. It’s hilarious. It was kind of sad about Nika and Cordelia though. I truly hope that bridge is mended. I’m so very excited about book three. I hope Virgil is already writing it and will put me out of my misery soon. Also, Evie looks like good addition.. I hope she’s added to the harem… in all honesty I really like Ophelia too.. I also hope she’s added to Barrett’s harem.. sure, she’s kinda unstable in some ways but she’s actually quite sane and she’s extremely loyal… if you treat her right she will be there for you. She’s proven this already… I hope the girls back off of Barrett and their possessiveness and slowly adopt her into the sisterhood ☺️. She has a lot to bring to the table.. she’s extremely strong, smart and she has good abilities. But every team needs that loose cannon 😂. I wonder how this will play out. I hope he takes over for Dracula, because if Damian does it that just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I do think they’ll end up as friends… they already have that grudging respect for each other… the way the “bloodthirst” games ended had me laughing… this whole book had me laughing out loud on so many occasions. This book was brilliantly written. Hurry up with the next one Virgil! Until then…. Onward, lads!! -
As required by U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations and Audible.com requirements, I am disclosing that I was given a free review copy of this audiobook at my request. I have listened to the audiobook, and I have voluntarily left an honest review. Receiving a review copy did not influence my rating nor my review.
“Nosferatu Academy 2” continues the hilarious adventures of “Bear-Boy”, Master, Baby, and husband MC Barrett Bradshaw and his harem/coven and friends, adversaries and teachers. Whew…I’m sure I forgot a moniker or two, but the author seems to have an appropriate nickname bestowed by each of his girlfriends and lovers.
I really enjoyed the unique personalities for each of the women, and VA Hannah Blaire outdoes herself in this series with terrific voices and performances. Male VA Patrick Dubois also does a fantastic job.
The story is extremely fun to listen to. Be sure to start with Book 1 for a proper introduction to the characters and the story; it’s also wonderful to listen to! In Book 2 we are taken deeper into the lore of the realm of the Academy, other realms in the multiverse, and the existence of vampires and other supernatural beings on earth. Dracula’s plans for himself and Barry continue to unfold, and take a surprising twist or two.
In case you think that this story is getting too serious, allow me to mention the terrific role of Dragon House familiar Count Quackula, the Duck Lord. Also, Rhapsody insists she only meets “a handful of the criteria” for psychosis, and Ophilia tells Barry it’s against the law to “get a p*ssy wet and then let it air dry”!
Meanwhile, during all the long-term planning for the future and short-term erotic frolics, we are presented with an interesting treatise on the nature of free will, and the consequences of selfish actions that achieve mutually desired benefits. So yeah, an intelligent author can sneak in some clever thoughts among all the wonderfully witty dialogues between charactersl
I highly recommend “Nosferatu Academy 2”! -
Nosferatu Academy 2 by Virgil Knightley - 3/5 Stars
First and foremost, I want to state that I'm not an author. I don't know what it takes to write a book; this is just my opinion based on my life experiences.
In the second book of Nosferatu Academy, I found it to be somewhat better than the first. While many of the issues I had with the first book are still present, there was a certain fun factor that made this installment more enjoyable. The story has transitioned from a mix of Harry Potter and Hotel Transylvania to something that feels reminiscent of The Hunger Games.
Count Quackula, while intended to be humorous, came off as somewhat silly and not particularly funny, in my opinion.
However, I continue to appreciate the female characters, who seem to have more personality than the main character, Barrett. The dynamic between House Dragon and House Wolf is intriguing, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens when they all finally return to Earth.
Overall, I would rate this book 3 out of 5 stars. It has its entertaining moments, but it still lacks the depth I hope for in a series. I’m interested enough to continue reading, but it hasn’t completely captured my enthusiasm.
5 stars - Exceptional, life-changing, or will reread multiple times
4 stars - Highly enjoyable, likely to reread, would recommend
3 stars - Decent read, might not remember long-term
2 stars - Not for me, struggled to finish
1 star - Poorly written or factually incorrect -
Nosferatu Academy 2
At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review
Genre: Vampire fantasy school harem romance slice of life
Power dynamics in harem: Everyone has strong opinions, they can be very pushy, but MC is the central character
Explicit/adult material: Explicit, hot. Vampires, humans and not-just-human vampires.
Summary:
Barret Bradshaw and his girls are into more action at the school. A competition to test the students is being held and the teachers have big plans.
Narrators
Voice diversity: Great. Every character has their own voices and are easy to recognise.
Pacing and intonation: Extremely well done. Arguments sound like arguments and fight scenes carry you away.
Sex scenes: Very well done.
Overall: 5 / 5 stars.
The book’s strengths.
- The writing. Silly and fun with tons of references.
- The girls have agency and go for what they want.
- The girls have personalities and flaws.
- The narration
The book’s weaknesses.
- I would have liked stronger punishment for the character that crosses a line
Overall: 4.5/5 stars
I am excited to see where this goes! -
Good sequel!
Very good second book in the series. Hoping there is more progression in book three especially with the harem and MC’s powers. There’s two ladies I’m interested in seeing join, and one lady that I want to see join but not right away (and its not the sexy fairy).
Overall this in another awesome book from one of the best new writers out there. -
Great Funny Novel
Virgil has taken this great idea and developed it further, Rich characters and clever storyline
Fantastic lovely ladies with real strong personalities.
He really explores this great world.
Looking forward to the next instalment -
My expectations were low but I was still dissapointed.
Sometimes something is so bad it's actually good; this is just so bad it's just...bad. Rarely have I read a book that felt so much like it needed a laugh track like some 90s sitcom. Unfortunately, I hate television shows with laugh tracks, and I hated this book.
Couldn't finish it.
