Acts of Love Reviews

  • Linda ~ they got the mustard out! ~

I read this way back in fifth grade, so I don't remember much about it except that it's a first-love story and that the girl is about to lose her home to imminent domain so a highway can be built. I still remember it from time to time after all these years, so I'm four-starring it. It clearly made an impression back when I read it. :)

Liked the emphasis on our stories and that ongoing influence. Good book

Read this sometime in high school, can't remember much so maybe I'll find it and re-read it. Several times over the years I've tried to figure out which book had a girl whose family was losing their house because of a freeway, and I by chance found the sequel to this book mentioned as part of a meme on Pinterest tonight and I got curious and googled the author, bringing me to this book again lol.
