Kylie is kind of a dingbat - but we get to see her mature through danger and helping people. Kylie hasn't really settled on a career, currently she wants to be private investigator. She finally gets her first "officially" assigned case. It's a suspicion of embezzlement reported by an elderly lady. What could go wrong, after all it's not like there's a serial killer involved or anything.
Get ready for an emotional roller coaster as Kylie goes from investigating murderers, missing children, murderers, even looking for her father ends up with the Mob after her.
It's been a joy watching Kylie and Vader grow up in this exciting series. Get ready for twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages in this five-star mystery series.

Deadly Act: This book is fast paced with some humor, some romance, and some mystery. I think I will have to read more of the series before I can say that I like it as much as the Winter Black series, but it’s a good start
Deadly Lies: I am enjoying this series So much. Kylie is an awesome character. She just can’t seem to stay out of trouble!! I love the chemistry between her and Linc. If you like a book with lots of adventure, you should read this series.
Deadly Games: Wow!! Could this series get any better! I think this 3rd book is the best one yet. It kept my interest from the start. Can’t wait for more.
Deadly Dreams: Just Wow.....each book gets better!! There is never a dull moment with Kylie! I was intrigued from page one. There is so much drama, suspense and romance. Kylie and Lincoln are so good together. I can’t wait to see where they go from here.
Deadly Silence: What a nice conclusion to a great series. I hate to see it end, but I am sure the next series won’t disappoint. I loved reading the stories of Kylie and Linc. They were so good together! Highly recommended series. -
Okay but not great. Too. Much romance and not enough mystery.
I finished the whole set didn't enjoy as much as other Stone novels. Premise was good but took too long to get to the end -
I have read many books by this author and they are all excellent. Pick this set up, you will not be disappointed.
