    A simple Miffy tale about a trip to the playground. They go in the car and it takes about an hour to drive there, so we have a clue here that Miffy lives in a very remote part of Holland! Nothing much happens, this seems to follow the Miffy formula of go there, do whatever you've come to do and go home again. So nice when life is that simple! A lovely reassuring read.

    Absolute klassieker. Ongeveer op het niveau van de werken van Yuval Noah Harrari. Schrijfstijl van Bruna heeft veel weg van de manier van schrijven van Ilja Leonard Pfeifer. Verschillende verhaallijnen komen samen in het boek. In het tweede deel van het boek, als boris beer en snuffie naar de speeltuin komen, komt het literaire vernuft van Bruna volledig tot uiting. 10/10

    Om gezellig samen in te lezen. De tekeningen ondersteunen de summiere tekst uitstekend. Voorlezen, aanwijzen, kijken... Ideaal om een band op te bouwen tussen kind en voorlezer, maar ook tussen kind en boeken/lezen.
    De 4 regeltjes tekst per tekening bevatten kleine brokjes informatie. De heel eenvoudige tekeningen - enkel het noodzakelijke tegen een egale achtergrond - illustreren telkens 1 begrip.

    Another favourite from childhood. These books have excellent illustrations as well as appropriate plots for little ones.

    I didn't like this at all. But I'm not a little kid. My little kid (3 at the time) LOVED it. We read it over and over and over again. And then just to make sure he still loved it, we read it again and again. The older boys enjoyed listening to it as well.

    The illustrations were simple and bright. The text was simple. And glory be, the author used good grammer. I hate books which speak down to kids or use "baby talk."

    Most pre-K kids would like this. Many parents will not.
