It seems unlikely; Moses started the Disciples to make a positive impact on the black community. The Disciples head up book drives, they feed the hungry, and they start free breakfast programs with the Panthers. The letters start to flow back and forth, and Rhythm changes her major to criminal justice and becomes an attorney to fight the system that has incarcerated the man she has fallen in love with.

This book is titled Riding Rhythm written by JIHAD. The book is urban fiction. The theme of the book is the truth will set you free wheater it takes fighting for you Justice
This book is about a man named Moses King whos life was strongly influenced by the african americans who fought for freedom. Growing up in the 60's he noticed how his people in his hodd were being mistreated so he started a gang called the disciplies. This gang was to help the poor communites and his people. As he grew older with his gang he decided to leave and recruit his best friends as the leaders. The cops noticied how the disciples was a forced to be reccond with so they took out the leader. Now Mosses King is inpriosned for a crime he did not commit. The cops just couldnt stand a black man in power. So read on as Moses king gets the help of a woman he has never met before , family, friends, and strong suporters claim his innocence.
This book is a very Touching real and suprising piece of work. Some parts consisted of things i thought didnt happen rarely such as Goverment working hard to keep blacks from as much freedom as possible. For example in the book a couple of cops roamed the streets and came upon a black man working his stand to make money and cops interrogated him and the man wasnt very bright but he was very friendly yet the cops beat his down brutaly. The book told of many descriptive details such as the way the cops got Moses king arrested and how he felt towards that. I was actually able to feel the rage and pain of this one non-existing character. My favorite character was Rhythm. She was tall, very beautiful, long curley hair, and had the biggest brownest prettiest eyes. She played a big role in Moses Kings life. She randomly sent Moses a letter stating she was a college student studying criminal justice and she wanted to help prove his innocence. Even though most of what she said wasnt true her feeling were. She managed to fall in love with a man who couldve been locked up for life but she didnt care she wouldve stayed down with him for whatever. Shes the real deffenition of love thats why she is my favorite Character. This is most vivid to me because she seemed like a ride-or0die chick just like me so i admire this character so much. This book had me awe i just wasnt able to put it down. It was so good that i read it in less than a week.
In a way reading this book makes me open up my eyes to racism. Everyine is racist it just shows me how far it really can go.
I would recomend this book to inmates who are in jail for a crime they did not commite. Obviously Guilty till proven innocent really means something to them. However i would not recomend this book to people who are in jail for a crime they did commit becaues they deserve the time. But i would never reccomend this book for little children because it may to explisit for them to hear because it consists of things children should not hear at a young age. But besides that this is a really good book and you should read it
