Good easy reading book to understand the building of the Panama Canal-- we are visiting Panama Canal and I wanted to have an overview of the difficulty & politics of building it.

Listed as a young person look into the Panama Canal, this book is FULL of information. There are nice pictures of the historical undertaking along with the information to start the study of the canal, or perhaps just learn this bit of history and feel like you have a general background of the event.
