This "book", and every other single "book" done by VDM Verlag (owner of the Alphascript imprint) and these hack editors at VDM/Alphascript are clowns who should not be allowed anywhere near a computer. This "book", and every single other "book" done by these hacks are literally nothing but copied and pasted Wikipedia articles.

EVERY SINGLE BOOK DONE BY VDM AND ALPHASCRIPT AND ALL OF VDM'S OTHER IMPRINTS ARE LITERALLY COPIED AND PASTED, and not checked for accuracy or formatted properly. It is a damn shame and disgrace that booksellers like Barnes and Noble, and Amazon, sell this crap for these idiots.

John McBrewster, Agnes Vandome, Frederic Miller, et. al. are editors in name only because all they do is copy and paste, no checking the text for accuracy or formatting it for printed form. These people are real LOSERS if they think their copypasta make for a book worth buying.

Avoid anything and everything printed by VDM/Alphascript/Betascript/Fastbook/whatever else. You're better off reading Wikipedia on your own and not giving these clowns a single penny for the 'work' they do. Wikipedia was always meant to be a free source of information, not something for lazy idiots to try to profit off.

I think that this book was amazing I really can't wait to watch the movie. It really was quite interesting. John smith teaches about his planet and why they came to Earth. Spoiler alert. John and Henri move to paradise Ohio to find one of the humans that treated them when they showed up. But he's gone. As they go they meet his son who is trying to find him. They never do read the next book to find out more.

    Riveting!

  • Kyle Pfeffer

Interesting premise. But the writing, with such gems as "is that the best you got?" ruined it for me.

  • Cami

My son wanted me to read it.

i am too tired for this, how did the author managed to mix all the clichés in this fucking book omg

Book is well written and easy enough to speed read. However, the book is just too slow in the beginning; the character development takes forever. And the scenes where the bad guys finally show up just comes out of nowhere and also drags on forever. Not sure if I care to read the entire series. I do think this would make a good movie.

I guess this book was or is "ok" since I didn't finish it. The reason being is probably because I feel it's got a predictable plot and that it is just plain bland. I guess I'm not about the E.T life!:/

Ok book, but I won't bother with the rest of the series.

Great book for anybody with a sci-fi interest.

    It was ok, nothing great

  • Stacy

Just Ok. I don't think I'll be reading the next one. It's a quick read, but I wasn't interested in reading about aliens.

  • Avy

I really enjoyed this book. So much suspense and action and you can really understand the main character - can't wait to read the next book!

  • Brooksuneson

So good!! I am not normally into alien books or books that have to do with other life forms. But this series is exceptionally good! Definitely would recommend it!!
