I have been following this book ever since I discovered it on Wattpad so obviously when I heard it had been published on KU I hopped on over and ATE IT UP. Jen Cooper has had me dying over Stallion and Clarissa's relationship, chemistry, and bond from the very beginning and I don't think that's ever going to change. These two have such a unique connection that is undeniable. I seriously hope that I find something that comes close to what these two share because my god it's truly amazing.
I honestly wish I had the same amount of confidence that Clarissa has in herself. She's so sure of herself and sexuality and it's truly astonishing to see. She does not take any crap from anyone and I seriously admire that about her. Clarissa is so open about who she has, what she does, and what she likes which has me wanting to take lessons from her so I can develop that kind of self-acceptance and like I said before confidence. The same goes for Stallion not going to lie. This man knows what he wants and he does everything in his power to get it AND he accepts Clarissa for who she is and does nothing to try to change her and just that simple fact had me instantly falling for him. He seriously only gets better and better. I love these two with all my heart.
Something to keep in mind if you are considering this book is that it contains a LOT of spice and might not be for you. There's some type of spicy/smutty scene pretty much in every chapter of this book. That does not mean that it does not contain any plot...it just takes a bit to truly get into it. Having said that, I definitely would recommend giving this book a shot. I love it. I've been a fan of Jen Cooper's writing ever since I first discovered her a super long time ago. I am so excited for when Her Stallion comes out because I just KNOW it is going to be amazing. Clarissa and Stallion will forever have a special place in my heart and I can't wait to see how their story continues. -
Mind blowing
I normally don't feel this strongly about a book but this one is a top one for me. I absolutely loved and appreciated every thought that went into every interaction that happened inside these pages. It not only called to my want for a fantasy but it made me think and understand things I only barely knew about. If you want to see docent dynamics and how things could work this is definitely a great one to read!
