I have a good base in HebrewI can read and write as well as I can in English. I can also speak but my limitations are significant enough to want to keep learning and this book seems to be a good one. I first tried the Alef version but that was too rudimentary for me and I could literally understand everything in it and knew all the material that is in there. SoI tried this one and I found that it does challenge me and it does provide instruction for someone at my level of proficiency in the language. One thingIt seems to me that this book would be best used as a text book for classroom learning with a teacher or instructor because some explanations, translations of words, etc. come after reading material that's provided as you go along in the book. But this isn't a big problem at all and I don't think it deters from the book's value.

This book is a perfect intermediate text for learning conversational Hebrew. I have perhaps a 1,000 word Hebrew vocabulary, with a limited knowledge of Hebrew grammar, and am seeking to learn via self study. This book is a perfect match to my level. Each chapter has several interesting stories in Hebrew, along with a focused grammar lesson, with very clear explanations. There are many interesting exercises of different types to reinforce the lessons. Their variety precludes boredom. Some reviewers complain that not all the words are in the glossary. That's true to a limited extent, but note that the book has two glossaries and be sure to check both. The only downside for self study is lack of access to answers. But overall this is a great buy, and I would heartedly recommend it for self study or for a Level Two classroom, pre teen to adult.

I have the 3 volumes and I just finished the Level 2. This Level is much challenging than the level i of course. I like the grammar section within each chapter, and the fact that the author gives us tips on conjugation for example. it is really helpful for students. I've had many Hebrew methods but the conjugation was always difficult to me but with this book the author focuses on that point and the tips and explanations she gave us are useful. The only thing I would have liked to see is updated stories but the book is really good.

Clear and nicely graduated with respect both to grammar and vocabulary and this applies to the whole trilogy

These books have proven extremely helpful in learning the Hebrew language. All lessons are covered by steps, each one building on the last. These are excellent books.

Seems fine and well organized, but too early to authoritatively evaluate.

Way difficult compared to the first one (or maybe it's just me), I was expecting it to be harder since it's level 2 but it is much harder then i thought it would be. Focuses a lot on future and past tenses.
